I like when books like this have quizzes and tips that you can implement into your life. Having a plan that I can follow and tweak to what I need was very helpful. Good read.

I've been practicing ayurveda for sometime now. I loved this book on boosting the immune system. I've used many of the practices and enjoying each practitioners outlook on things and Janesh Vaidya didn't disappoint. For anyone looking to better their life and he natural proven holistic manner I would recommend this book.

I really liked this book. It contains timelines of the best time to eat meals; what exercise patterns to do; and what foods to eat for your body type. I think that there is a lot of good information about general wellness in the book.

Ayurveda deals with whole body health and there is a delicate balance between mind, body, and spirit upon which health and wellness depend. If there is an imbalance somewhere in the system, the immune system is weakened which then causes some health problem. Two quizzes are provided for you to determine your core nature and what body type you are, i.e., vata, pitta or kapha also called doshas. The author, Vaidya, goes through lifestyle, food, the five pillars of Yoga, Meditation, and so much more. In order to really understand the meaning behind the system of Ayurveda, this book needs to be read several times which probably serves as a good meditating factor in itself. Namaste.

A practical guide to ayurveda and the immune system, which involves eliminating the usual suspects, such as sugar and alcohol, from our diet. I found that the author was interesting, and I will use the book as a reference, since it is a lot to take in all in one reading. I found the references to kapha, pita and vata dominant types particularly interesting.
