The Texas SEAL's Surprise by Cari Lynn Webb was not for me. You may enjoy it, but I didn't finish it so there may be content that I do not know about.

All in all, this may be a book you find enjoyable.

Abby had an unpleasant breakup. Her boyfriend broke her heart. What is more is that she is pregnant. And alone. She plans on start over in Three Springs, Texas. She is in a minor accident and runs into former Navy SEAL Wes Tanner. Wow he catches her eye! But no, she is not going to have her head turned.

Wes is drawn to Abby. There is just something about her. However, he is only planning on staying in town for a short while. For now he has plans on helping as many as possible, including Abby. He doesn't know why he feels so drawn to her but he knows that he cannot form any attachment.

What a sweet story with wonderful characters. I loved the town they were in as well as other secondary characters in the story. I am definitely looking forward to continuing this series.

Many thanks to and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

I love small-town romances, and in The Texas SEAL's Surprise, Cari Lynn Webb has created a town I definitely want more of. Of course, we have our romantic couple to root for, and Abby and Wes are certainly easy to root for. Then we have the rest of the people in this town, and there are so many that I fell instantly in love with. They're quirky and colorful, and every single one adds something to the story - no throw-away characters in this one. The book is very well written, the romance is charmingly sweet, and now that I've met these characters, I really need more of them.

Abby's fresh new start isn't faring too well when her car hits a pot hole and ends up coming across the only unfriendly cowboy on horseback. Wes isn't planning on staying long just for now and last thing he needs is for any interest towards Abby. Abby is looking to make roots and he isn't going to be her for much longer.

I really enjoyed this book. I love when theres banter between the two love interests, it makes things more fun to read when you know they'll eventually get together. I loved getting to know Abby and Wes. I loved getting their POV and getting to know what they really thinking. I mean it was easy to want more from the characters and understand why they did certain things because there was a much bigger picture going on and it was a matter of seeing how it'll turn out. There was very little drama which was a change of pace of what I've been reading lately. I loved how Abby was a pretty optimistic person she really didn't let anything get in her way once she had an idea and if she needed help she went out and got it. I loved that romance that was brewing between Abby and Wes and appreciate that it was a clean romance. Overall great book I really enjoyed it.

Every once in a while, I just need a Harlequin romance to get me back on track. I haven’t been in the mood to read much lately, and when I get into these slumps, I find that a Harlequin romance is usually the book to get me out of it. Enter The Texas SEAL’s Surprise by Cari Lynn Webb.

I picked up this title mainly on the author alone. I’d read other books by Cari Lynn Webb and enjoyed her writing. The fact that the hero of this story is a “cowboy SEAL”… well… Since I like books with both types of heroes, a combination of the two was simply irresistible. And The Texas SEAL’s Surprise did not disappoint.

The Texas SEAL’s Surprise follows Wes and Abby. Wes landed in Three Springs, Texas, to tell the grandfather of one of his SEAL teammates of his grandson’s passing. Wes ends up staying in town while he takes care of some personal business.

Abby arrives in town, pregnant and alone, to visit with her cousin and help with their grandparent’s general store. The book starts with Wes coming to Abby’s rescue, and sparks are already flying. But neither is looking for a relationship and try their best to stay in the friend zone. The romance was a slow build and so sweet to watch.

As with most Harlequin romances, The Texas SEAL’s Surprise was a good read. It had a solid plot, well-developed characters, and romance. It even tugged at my heartstrings, which I’m always hoping will happen. If you’re looking for a clean contemporary romance, I’d highly recommend picking up this title.

This is a Clean Cowboy Romance, and this is the first book in the Three Springs, Texas series. I found the characters in this book to be so great, and I loved the small town feel in this book. There is nothing better then having a small town for a setting and an old people playing match makers. I found this book to be so cute. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Harlequin Heartwarming) or author (Cari Lynn Webb) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

Abby had rushed home to tell the lover of her life that she was pregnant, only to find him in the arms of another woman. Determined to start fresh with family, she travels to Three Springs, Texas to help her cousin reopen their grandparent's old general store. With almost nothing to her name, she will do what she must to make a better life for her child.

The town of Three Springs is dying, with young adults moving away for better opportunities. It will take all of Abby's skills to make a place for herself and save the town but along the way she finds love, mystery, and more importantly, family.

Cari Lynn Webb's The Texas Seal's Surprise is a sweet story for anyone looking for a very light read.
