What a joy it has been to read this series! Christmas in Peachtree Bluff was the icing on the cake. Please write more about these characters, Kristy! Christmas Eve was perfect and if I find a town such as this. I will move there! Bravo, Kristy!

Book four in the Peachtree Bluff series.

Squee! This is a truly magical and heartwarming holiday story about the Murphy family; three generations of women that are strong, independent, and love unconditionally, and the waterfront, small town of Peachtree Bluff, Georgia.

I love this series, I love the Murphy’s, and SURPRISE! this fourth book has a hurricane named Pearl (my sweet Malty girl’s name), a long-hidden secret is revealed, and a (finally solved) mysterious pirate tale you’ll never believe. Family dynamics, motherhood, marriage, friendships, forgiveness, and second-chance love.. this has it all.. and more. So good. Not to be missed.

Oh how I wish this and the next generation of Murphy’s could continue on.. possibly to see what unfolds for Caroline and her first love, Wes, and what the future brings to Vivi and Tyler.

Oh, the excitement of finding out there was another Peachtree Bluff novel! Christmas in Peachtree Bluff, by Kristy Woodson Harvey, did not disappoint. The setting we've come to love and the characters we know and have missed since the last book, make reading this book like a visit with old friends. You don't want to miss Christmas in Peachtree Bluff.

CHRISTMAS IN PEACHTREE BLUFF holds the title as my first holiday book of the 2021 season.
We’re reunited with the Murphy family - all back in Peachtree Bluff - as they prepare for the holiday season. But one unwelcome guest, Hurricane Pearl, threatens to destroy this southern community before the celebrations even begin.

This feel-good book has all the ingredients for the perfect holiday story including romance, traditions and of course, family drama! The storyline moves along quickly to the progression of the storm so there is little opportunity to put the book down- so prepare your snacks and drinks accordingly! This is the 4th book in the Peachtree Bluff series but can easily be read as a stand-alone as well.

Thank you Kristy, Simon and Schuster, and Netgalley for this ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

An excellent read for fans of beach reads. Christmas miracles come true in this fourth installment in the Peachtree Bluff series (which all can be read in any order - all are good reads!) Family, love, bonds that tie, and things that really matter all wrapped up in a great read. Characters were well developed and I enjoyed being back in Peachtree Bluff for a little while! Kudos Kristy Woodson Harvey!

I’m a huge fan of this author’s books having already read the Peachtree Bluff series as well as some of her stand alone books. Nothing I’ve ever read by this author disappoints!

I was really drawn into the family drama while being threatened with a hurricane during the holiday season. It was a good story although admittedly I did enjoy the first 3 books in this series even more. Having said that this one is definitely one worth checking out, and I especially loved the ending.

Thank you to Netgalley for extending me an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I did not realize this was the cherry on the top from a series. I really enjoyed other books by Kristy Woodson Harvey and after reading this one, I need to go back and read the Peachtree Bluff series so I can learn more about these characters. Once I figured out who is who, I was able to follow along well and enjoyed the story (great Christmas vibes), but this book is probably best read after reading the other three books in the series (which are now on my tbr).

Kristy Woodson Harvey’s 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗳𝗳 is book 4 in her wonderful Peachtree Bluff series, and I was one of many fans excited by the unexpected but wished for gift. The Murphy sisters are a force and their families are their match. Peachtree Bluff is an amazing place with wonderful characters that I would love to live in, or at least visit often. Harvey crafted the perfect return and I couldn’t imagine it any other way! There is so much I could say about this book, but we will be here forever so I will say: 𝙄 𝘾𝙊𝙐𝙇𝘿 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝙋𝙐𝙏 𝙄𝙏 𝘿𝙊𝙒𝙉 and that is not an exaggeration. This is one you will want to cozy up with over and over! I am glad I preordered my copy so I can add it to the bookshelf with the rest of Harvey’s books.
Thanks to the publisher for the opportunity to read an advanced copy. All opinions are my own and freely given.

I’m a huge fan of Kristy Woodson Harvey’s books, especially her popular series, Peachtree Bluff. I fell in love with the smalltown Georgia setting and with the women of the Murphy family. Ansley and her daughters Caroline, Sloan, and Emerson found their way deep into my heart to the point that they felt like dear friends, so I was beyond excited to discover that the author has gifted her readers with Christmas in Peachtree Bluff, a new installment of the beloved series.

I couldn’t wait to see the Murphy women again and the Christmas backdrop was such a bonus. Christmas in Peachtree Bluff is every bit as charming, magical, and full of rich traditions as I expected it to be, and also as expected, the Murphy women are a force to be reckoned with. I loved watching them come together to celebrate the holidays and to face head-on any and all challenges that come their way, whether those challenges come in the form of a 15-year-old headstrong and rebellious teenager, or in the form of an out-of-season hurricane that is bearing down on Peachtree Bluff and threatening to wreck the holidays.

I don’t want to give away any spoilers, so I’m going to keep it brief. It was just so delightful to be back in this world and with these characters, and I thought the story was the perfect mix of drama and holiday cheer. Between the tension created by the family drama and the suspense regarding the dangerous storm, I was glued to the pages and devoured this book in a day.

I also think Christmas in Peachtree Bluff would work beautifully as a standalone even though it’s technically part of a series. Woodson Harvey gives just enough background detail for each character, that I think the story is quite easy to follow along with even if you haven’t read the first three books. I do highly recommend those first three books though, especially if you enjoy southern fiction, small town settings, and strong women.

If you’re looking for a heartwarming holiday read that focuses on the importance of family and forgiveness, Christmas in Peachtree Bluff is the book for you.

I loved going back to Peachtree Bluff! This book was Iike catching up with old friends. I definitely recommend reading the first three; this one has lots of spoilers!

I did not enjoy the addition of Vivi’s point of view. Those chapters were very YA and I found myself skimming them. I loved all the others though!

I received an advanced copy. All thoughts are my own.

Old Southern Charm! When I realized this book was part of a series, I was a bit leery, thinking I might miss something but this can easily be read as a stand alone and makes me definitely want to read the first ones in the series. Christmas, romance, family troubles and adding in a hurricane to top it off make for a great read. When things get bad, the family pulls together and does what needs to be done. Such a fun, down home, southern style read, I loved it.

I am a huge fan of the Peachtree Bluff series and binged the first three in about a week! I loved revisiting Ansley and the three girls and seeing this family set during the holiday season. This is a comfort read series with lots of drama, family secrets, and feel good moments packed in. If you are a fan of this series, I recommend not reading the synopsis - it is a bit spoilery! This is the fourth book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order. You can still connect well to the characters but will miss a lot of the family history and context. This book is told from multiple POVs, each chapter alternating between the sisters, one of the granddaughters, and Ansley. This is a perfect fall read - it has small town cozy vibes, it is not very heavy on Christmas but has a good amount weaved in, and will get you in the fall/winter/holiday spirit!

I love novels set during the holidays and this was a delight. The Peachtree Bluff series has memorable characters that will pull you in each time you open page one.
"Three generations of the Murphy women must come together when a hurricane threatens to destroy their hometown—and the holiday season in the process."
Add this to your holiday to be read list.

This book contains everything you need in a Christmas story. Family, friends, love, traditions, of course, enough drama to make it interesting! Book 4 in the Peachtree Bluff saga, but can read as a stand-alone.

Put on your comfy clothes, build a fire, grab a hot drink of choice and settle into a cozy chair because you might find yourself sitting and reading for a while. The Murphy women are a force to be reckoned with on their own, but when banded together watch out and don’t stand in their way! Add to the mix a sullen teenager, a divorce, and a trip of the lifetime and The Storm of the Century looming, this family will find that together they can face anything. Enjoyable Christmas story that will put you in the right frame of mind for what will hopefully be a return to our regular Holiday time. I found myself tearing up, laughing, shaking my head and feeling anxious while reading. Such a perfect ending. Great characters, I could so relate to most situations.

Thanks to Ms. Woodson Harvey, Gallery Books and NetGalley for this ARC. Opinion is mine alone!

What a quaint, cozy town and charming cast of characters! The author’s note stated that she thought the Peachtree Bluff stories were done, til pandemic upheaval inspired one last holiday visit.

This book was wonderful as a stand-alone. While there are three other Peachtree Bluff books (and some of their focal characters can probably be guessed based on references in the holiday book), Christmas in Peachtree Bluff was really about the Murphy family, with just a dash of romance on the side.

Viv, Caroline’s teenage daughter, started out as very unlikable. Her rage at her parents’ divorce was leading her to make some poor choices and act like quite a brat. While her introspection during her transformation seemed especially deep for a 15-year-old, it was acceptable to just have her as a more pleasant human being.

The author’s note made it sound like the series may be done, the holiday book did open up a couple more options for other books that could extend the series. The writing style was conversational, friendly, and engaging, and books about quaint towns and charming people are always a lovely escape.

That being said, I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars. While it may not be too memorable months from now (or maybe just a bit from the hurricane), it was a nice way to spend a few hours and start thinking about the Christmas-y time coming soon.

Christmas in Peachtree Bluff is the fourth installment in the Peachtree Bluff series. In the latest book, the Murphy women come together in Peachtree Bluff to celebrate the holidays. However, the drama unfolds when Caroline's teenage daughter Vivi has a breakdown and strands her grandparents on the island during the hurricane of the century. Together the family must pull together to get them through the hurricane and rebuild--both the island and relationships. But the hurricane wasn't the only storm--Kyle is ready for marriage, but is Emerson? And Sloan and Adam and finally looking for a place of their own.

I've started reading Kristy Woodson Harvey in the past year, and her books do not disappoint. Christmas in Peachtree Bluff brought in the the bonds of family and friendship that the series is known for, and even managed to bring in a little mystery. Definitely a must-read!

This book was exactly what I was hoping for when Kristy Woodson Harvey announced a fourth Peachtree Bluff book was in the works. The setting was described so beautifully and I fell in love with each character all over again. I can’t wait to pick this one up each Christmas season to relish in this cute story over and over again!

KWH has done it again. I adore all of her books, especially the Peachtree Bluff series, so I was delighted by another book to add and one at the holidays, my favorite time of year, no less! Even if you have not read the earlier books in the series, you will have no trouble fitting right in and understanding these rich characters KWH has written. Love everything about this charming story.

A great ending to an amazing series. I’ve developed so much love for the Murphy clan and the town of Peachtree Bluff. The story gave me all the warm and positive holiday feels, and the family drama and romance kept me quickly turning each page. I love how this book closed the ties for all three sisters, and that Vivi had her own story to share. Such a great read!

It's Christmas time in Peachtree and the "storm of the century" threatens to derail the plans of this family. But maybe it will also bring them closer than ever before. Told from the perspective of Ansley and her daughters, with the edition of Vivi, Ansley's granddaughter, this book (which I thoroughly enjoyed on audio) is a beautiful conclusion to this lovely series. Once again Harvey executes describing a complicated and loving dynamic from various points of views with a deft hand. Plus the Christmas spirit was served up at just the right amount and added some cozy amongst the ever present family drama.
