I great ending to an amazing series. I’ve developed so much love for the Murphy clan and the town of Peachtree Bluff. The story gave me all the warm and positive holiday feels, even when reading this in August, and the family drama and romance kept me quickly turning each page. I love how this book closed the ties for all three sisters, and that Vivi had her own story to share. Another fabulous addition to the KWH collection!

I am delighted every time I get to read a novel by Kristy Woodson Harvey. Her stories are full of memorable characters and breathtaking settings. Though it is July, the timing was perfect to read “Christmas in Peachtree Bluff,” which is the fourth novel of her Peachtree Bluff series.

The Murphy family is gathering for Thanksgiving. Ansley has been looking forward to spending quality time with her daughters, Caroline, Sloan, and Emerson and their families. Ansley is enjoying being married to Jack, even though they’re living in “his” house and not hers, which is where her daughter Sloan, her husband, and kids live. Unfortunately, Caroline, who has flown in from New York ,is facing a divorce, which daughter Vivi is not at all happy about. Meanwhile, rising-star Emerson is trying to decide if marriage might be right for her. To add tension, Hurricane Pearl is set to put a damper (pun intended) on events.

I have two sisters so I really related to the dynamics between Ansley and her daughters. The author makes sure to pay as much attention to the novel’s “men” and Peachtree is a major character who plays a very important role in this novel. Kristy Woodson manages to maintain a warm, sentimental tone without becoming too sappy. Though there are some sadder moments, those are balanced with plenty of humor (you will never look at a coffee order the same way.)

You don’t need to read the earlier novels to enjoy this book, but after finishing “Christmas in Peachtree Bluff,” you will want to.

Thank you the author, NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC of this novel.

“People need to come home to
Christmas.”
Welcome Home! Welcome back to Peachtree Bluff and the fabulous, funny, loving Murphy family!
As the Christmas season approaches, so does a hurricane, with the sisters in New York and no way to get to their beloved island, in which their mother, Jack and Vivi are stranded, they set sail to Peachtree Bluff!
This book is also a big turning point in all the Murphy ladies lives, each is facing major decisions and starting over !
Fans of the series, like me, will devour this book !

I wasn't sure if I would be able to stay with the story since I had not read the previous books in the series, but I had no issues at all. This is a lovely family, holiday story. I the characters all have a great story, some seem a little full of them selves , but that didn't turn me away from wanting to know how things turned out. I would like to read the 3 previous books to see how the characters stories have started. The family dynamic is really great and well written.

It’s Christmas time at Peachtree Bluff. We meet up again with everyone we’ve come to know. We find them dealing with a hurricane after Thanksgiving. Before they know it, it’s Christmas. It was a good story, I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.
Thanks to the author for the early copy

Ohhhhhh my!!!! The Peachtree Bluff series by Kristy Woodson Harvey is one of my top, top favorites!! I was beyond thrilled to learn that Kristy had written a Christmas installment and I jumped at the chance to read it!! Christmas is Peachtree Bluff is the book I never knew I always needed!!! From the very first page it was chicken soup for my soul!!! Catching up with some of my most beloved characters was completely AWESOME! In saying that, if you haven’t read any of the books in this series, you can absolutely read Christmas in Peachtree Bluff as a stand-alone (but you will want to 1-click every installment after because they are just that GOOOOD). This 5 star book will be a novel that I re-read during the holiday season the get me into the spirit! I knew from the first book in this series I wanted Kristy to make it a long running series and my opinion on that still stands— I could read about these characters forever!! I highly recommend Christmas in Peachtree Bluff to anyone and everyone!

Such a cozy, cute Christmas story! I love the Southern hometown feel in Peachtree Bluff. Going into this book, I did not realize this was a series with previous books. However, the book was still easy to read and perfect as a stand-alone. There are lots of characters In this book which took me a little longer to grasp and remember each characters background and storyline. The book is told from all the women’s point of views, each chapter switching between them, which I enjoyed. Overall, a really enjoyable holiday read! Im looking forward to reading the previous books in this series and more from Kristy Woodson Harvey in the future.

Thank you Net Galley and Gallery books for an ARC of this book in return for my honest review!

Christmas at Peachtree Bluff
Christmas at Peachtree Bluff is a sweet southern Christmas story that takes place in the quaint beach town of Peachtree Bluff. Three generations of the Murphy family are busy planning and preparing for the holidays when ‘the storm of the century’ is heading straight for their beloved town. The family Matriarch Ansley Murphy, doesn’t believe the storm is actually going to amount to anything so she and her husband Jack continue to prepare for their dream vacation with their grandchildren. Their granddaughter Vivi becomes reckless and disappears as the storm gains intensity. Just like a wave during a storm, the family is pulled back to the island to look for Vivi in the mounting chaos of the storm.
There are many characters in this story. They are well developed, fun, and bring their own uniqueness to the story. My only suggestion would be to include a who’s who description in the front of the book. I found myself distracted from the beautiful story because I was constantly trying to connect the dots with each of them.
The story build up is like unwrapping a beautiful Christmas gift. It takes time but in the end it is worth the wait! Grab a Hot Chocolate and settle into a cozy spot to read this book that is sweet, heartwarming, and full of surprises and Christmas miracles.
I am grateful to NetGalley, Gallery Books and Kristy Woodson Harvey for the opportunity to read an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you NetGalley and Gallery Books for this advanced e-copy of Christmas in Peachtree Bluff in exchange for my honest review.

Prior to be granted this ARC, I had not read the first three books of the Peachtree Bluff series. So I picked up copies and read my heart out, literally. Ansley and her three daughters, Caroline, Sloan and Emerson, came to life through their heartbreak and trials. There was a lot of angst and competition as most families have, but they always came through for each other and were each other's biggest advocates. I preface my review stating this because, although Christmas in Peachtree Bluff could be read as a stand alone book, knowing the family dynamics and back story add a whole new depth to the book.

The format in former books were the perspective of Ansley and one daughter per book. This time, all the women's voices and perspectives were here, including rebellious teenager Vivi who is devastated by her parents imminent divorce. Again, if you've read the series, you'll have a lot less confusion over the subtle references from prior books. This book was like the cherry on the sundae, and I'm so thankful Kristy Woodson Harvey listened to what her fans wanted and wrote it. There are not enough heart emojis to state how happy this book made me!

Get your hot cocoa ready, put on your most comfy pajamas and settle in for revisiting a beloved family. Now I can only hope Kristy writes more books in this series and gives us more of the Murphy family.

(I'm posting my review on Goodreads and Instagram within a day of posting this review.)

Christmas in Peachtree Bluff by Kristy Woodson Harvey I think readers of the previous books in this series will enjoy it. I found the female characters not to be very deep or likable.  The men in the book had much more depth of character. I did like the southern setting of a small town with everyone participating in activities. Thanks for the opportunity to read this book early.

Book 4, and KWH has KNOCKED it out of the park. This was the best book of the whole series. I seriously adored it and read it in about 24 hours. I loved how we heard from each of the characters this time, including Vivi! Vivi is a little brat in this book, but she learns a really valuable lesson. I love how the characters evolved and the love between each of them and as a family. The way that KWH writes helps me to visualize what Christmas is like in this little southern, seaside town, and I am so happy to have had this experience. One of the best books I've read this year. Fun! Cute! Well written! All of the above. And while KWH says that this series is done, I think we all should be hoping and praying that there may be just.one.more. Thank you to Kristy Woodson Harvey, Netgalley.com and the publisher, Gallery Books for this free ARC in trade for my honest review. This book was amazing. Read the series, and don't skip this one. It was a winner and will stay with me for a while.

Being new to this series was possibly a disadvantage to this reader. I didn’t have a connection to the characters and for me this caused the boom to have a slow start. The writing was clever and funny. It was easy to fall in love with this family. The book did pick up towards the middle when the hurricane rolled in, but otherwise I would say the past fans of this series would find it more enjoyable than someone new to the scene. As a mother of sisters, I did enjoy how the sisters cared for one another.

Christmas in Peachtree Bluff is part a series but can be read as a stand alone. Though will you will want to go back to book one of the series. Christmas at Peachtree Bluff should be wonderful but with a late season hurricane it could disrupt everything. This book has it all family, drama, second chance romance and some Christmas magic. A wonderful Christmas read. I couldn’t put it down. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and Gallery books for the E-ARC. This is my own opinion.

Thank you Netgalley and Gallery Books for this wonderful book full of Christmas magic in exchange for my honest opinion.

Christmas In Peachtree Bluff was actually my first book in the Peachtree Bluff series. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will now have to read the rest of them! I have fallen in love with the families. I read most of the book with a smile on my face. I say most because there was a point that I was angry with a particular teenager. Enough so that I told my own teenager about it.

Ansley Murphy and daughters Caroline, Sloan and Emerson and families gather in Peachtree Bluff to celebrate Thanksgiving and enjoy family time. The sisters are all going through some stresses in their lives and are so happy to get together with each other. Ansley and her husband are planning to leave for their trip of a lifetime right after Thanksgiving. Hurricane warnings are posted but no one takes it serious, but they soon realize that it it coming and going to be a strong one. Can Ansley and her family weather the storm and not lose everything and realize that family is everything. Best book of the Peachtree series! Kristy is a talented writer and all of her books are fantastic!

Thanks to Kristy Woodson Harvey and Gallery Books
