A big storm is headed to Peachtree Bluff just as Ansley and Jack are about to head out for the trip of a lifetime. Their 15 year old granddaughter, Vivi, decides to prove a point and ends up lost in the storm. This takes the whole family, far and wide, to help bring her home and to fix the town up as good as new!

This story had a rough start for me. Luckily, I trust this author and knew it was going to turn out to be a good read! I highly recommend you read the other books in this series so you can keep up with all the characters which are in the first part of the book. Kristy Harvey brings everyone in for the holidays and it can be overwhelming to keep up with who is who and what is what. But, like any good author, she turns this into an amazing story. I love how all the characters are moved around like chess pieces! Very well done!

I enjoyed the tension brought on by the storm. It created such a wonderful twist to a Christmas story. It helped bring the family together and show what Christmas is all about!

Need a good Christmas story with intensity and wonderful family…THIS IS IT! Grab your copy today.

I received this novel from the publisher for a honest review.

Kristy had me at Peachtree Bluff! CHRISTMAS AT PEACHTREE BLUFF is truly a delight. A magical tale that will simply capture your holiday heart.

In CHRISTMAS AT PEACHTREE BLUFF, Kristy transports the reader to the quaint coastal Georgia town for a heartwarming Christmas tale of family, friendship, new beginnings, and finding a home and a chance at unexpected love when you're not even looking.

Kristy Woodson Harvey has made Christmas miracles come true for all book lovers and readers out there who have fallen in love with this series and the Murphy women. In this fourth book, a lot is happening in the small coastal town of Peachtree Bluff, GA!

Jack and Ansley are set to finally go on a vacation that they have planned forever. They deserve some time alone. After all, they have waited years. However, fate steps in and their simple life turns into anything but. Now they are stuck with a teenager (and not a happy one, at that).

Caroline and her husband, James are divorcing and now their teen daughter Vivi is not happy with life and wants to be miserable. Now she is supposed to go on this trip with her grandmother and Jack.

However, right before they are leaving, the biggest hurricane is approaching and this time they must take it seriously. The town is shutting down and the other daughters and family members have left for New York. The bridge is closed and now Viva is missing after hearing some news.

Too late to leave for the trip now, Ashley and Jack are frantic trying to put up shutters on the houses and prepare for the impending storm and now they are searching for their missing granddaughter.

In all the drama Viva meets Tyler (hope we see him again-love) a local boy that changes her mind about the town. A nice little romance here. Kyle and Emerson have some exciting news, we get more beautiful letters. Sloane and Adam get some surprises. Caroline reunites with an old friend from the past, the business has some special news, Jack finds a treasure for Ansley and the girls, and best of all, a magical enchanting Christmas for all!

I LOVED THIS BOOK! I love all the characters and so much fun catching up with friends and family of Peachtree Bluff. Now we must continue this in future books with generations to come. Maybe another Christmas Book down the road, please!

A beautiful novel about a little town you'll want to visit, and a love story of a family you won't soon forget.

Reminds me of my special Christmases in Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island every year. I love this town at Christmas. (also in the novel the sisters traveled by boat from Palm Beach to Fernandina —which brought a smile to my face).

When Kristy announced she was writing this holiday fourth book in the Peacthree Bluff series, during our Q&A Author Elevator Series for UNDER THE SOUTHERN SKY back in the spring, I was overjoyed!

Who else misses those magical holiday events in the charming towns? I know I do from tree lightings, snow falling, bed and breakfast Christmas tours, boat shows, twinkling lights, and all the magical and enchanting moments. This novel brings back so many fond memories.

Now we need a TV series. Right? I have read all Sherryl Woods' books, and back when - I always knew someday Chesapeake Shores would be a TV series. Fans of this show and her books will adore Peachtree Bluff. Wouldn't it be something to have Peachtree Bluff set in the coastal Southeast as a TV series? A Hallmark Movie in the making. Then Kristy would have to keep writing more Peachtree Bluff books. This is a big family, and we will have lots of generations, friends, and family connections.

Kristy gives special thanks to all her readers and states in the acknowledgments, "this book is for you, my readers." I am truly honored to be one of them. Thank you!!! What a God-given talent she has. We appreciate her taking the time to pen her second book in one year, on behalf of all readers. Also, during a pandemic, while sharing a little of her own inspiring and charming Beaufort, NC disguised as the fictional Bluff, GA.

I adore NC authors and have been a fan since her debut and read every subsequent book. Here we are at number eight, and she just keeps getting better and better with her winning signature style. She reminds me of Reese Witherspoon. I knew Kristy would be a star from her debut and deserving of this title in every way. She is the real deal!

Magical. Nostalgic. Heartwarming. Full of adventure and romance! Highly Recommend for book clubs and holiday gifts.

"If we let them, even our largest challenges can be our greatest allies."

A special thank you to the author, Gallery Books, and Netgalley for a digital and print copy. I also pre-ordered the hardcover copy for my home library collection.

Cannot wait for THE WEDDING VEIL where Kristy takes us to Biltmore House Asheville, NC, March 29, 2022 —a sweeping new novel following four women across generations, bound by a beautiful wedding veil and a connection to the famous Vanderbilt family. (available for pre-order now).

This is a book about family and being there for each other. The matriarch and her daughters and granddaughter are at the center of it all. They are a strong support system for each other and I liked that.
This book has it all - a hurricane, a family home, a missing person, young love, taking another step in a committed relationship, growing families, moving on after divorce, discovering family connections, pirate treasure, snow on Christmas - it is all there. For me, it was too much. I needed to see more of the characters' emotional journeys in these life moments and less plot movement.
As an addition to a series, it's not a good standalone. There is a great deal of backstory needed to really be invested in these characters, especially with the constantly moving plot. There is plenty of good description, so those who haven't read the series aren't lost. I just think they won't be as emotionally vested as series readers.
I can easily see this translating to the small screen. And I expect long time fans of the series may love tying up some loose ends and spending more time with these characters. It's a quick holiday read for series regulars.

Christmas in Peachtree Bluff is exactly what I needed in my life. Having this book in my hands to read made me feel like I was part of this family. I have the entire series and have been waiting to read them all, but this was the one that grabbed my attention with all it has for a storyline. The family dynamics – the romance – the holiday- and to top it off a hurricane.
Kristy Woodson Harvey has given me a family I want in my life. She has made them so real that after I finished the book, I know I will wonder what they are doing. My mother told be that those are the best kind of books. They ones that make you want to know what they are doing long after you have closed the book. The Murphy family is that kind of family.
Thank you NetGalley, Kristy Woodson Harvey and Gallery Books for the copy of Christmas in Peachtree Bluff. This is my personal review.

I have read and loved all three prior installments in the Peachtree Bluff series, so I was elated when I learned of this Christmas addition. This book can certainly be read as a standalone as Kristy Woodson Harvey does a great job of filling in the backstory. That said, I would totally recommend you just starting from book one because they’re all amazing.

Christmas in Peachtree Bluff is a heartwarming novel centered around the same three generations of Murphy women whom we’ve come to love. The family reunites for Thanksgiving and soon after learns that the storm of the century is quickly approaching Peachtree Bluff, threatening to destroy their hometown. The Murphy women rise together to save Christmas, and their family. This is the kind of book that makes you feel like you’re in a Hallmark Christmas movie.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There is nothing better than diving into a new book from one of my favorite authors and it felt so damn good to be back in Peachtree Bluff. Being back during Christmas made it that much more magical and checking in on the Murphy family was an absolute delight. I remember when I finished the previous book in the series I was so sad thinking there would be no more books and then when Kristy announced this book I was so thrilled. Although I read the last book back in 2019 I had no problem jumping back into this world, it’s a place that’s so memorable and felt like reconnecting with old friends. My favorite part of this one was seeing what kinds of traditions the Murphy’s participated in during the holiday season and they were just as special and magical as I had hoped for. If you still haven’t caught up on this incredible series do so asap so you can cozy up with this special book this holiday season, I can’t say enough good thing about it, so I’ll just leave it with this 👉🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a fun time visiting old friends! I totally enjoyed Christmas in Peachtree Bluff by Kristy Woodson Harvey. It kind of felt like going home for the holidays. It soothed my homesickness this time of year.

Although, I never expect to go home during the holidays with a hurricane headed toward the hometown. In November? Right after Thanksgiving? It's never happened before! That's what Ansley says!

If you've read any of the Peachtree series, you definitely want to grab up a copy of this book. I heard there wasn't going to be anymore in the series so, this is a bonus. I love these books and the southern voice that tells the story.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from #GalleryBooks and #Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

What a magical, heartwarming holiday read!

I absolutely love the Peachtree Bluff series by Kristy Woodson Harvey (and every other book of hers that I've read), so I was super excited when I found out she was writing another book in the series, especially one set during the holidays.

Y'all, Kristy didn't disappoint with Christmas in Peachtree Bluff...it was the perfect visit with the Murphy women-Ansley, Caroline, Sloane, Emerson, and Vivi, characters who feel like old friends-and the town of Peachtree Bluff, Georgia, a place that feels like home because of Kristy's evocative, descriptive writing. No worries though if you haven't read any of the previous books in the series before because this one can be read as a standalone since Kristy gives plenty of details so you won't be left in the dark!

I admit this one made me cry more than once, but not because I was sad. It's heartwarming and touching in all the best possible ways. My heart felt so full while reading the dynamics of this family and this town, their bonds in the most trying of times. I wish the town were real because I would definitely want to live there, especially at Christmas!

Highly recommended (and all the Peachtree Bluff books...all of Kristy's other books too)!

Thank you NetGalley and Gallery Books for the ARC in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

As the fourth book in the Peachtree Bluff series, A Christmas in Peachtree Bluff is the first book I have read in the series.

This was a charming women’s fiction novel, which made me fall for the messy, yet beautiful Murphy family. I strongly recommend that if you don’t want spoilers to read the previous books in the series as you will find out who ends up with who in no time.

But as I wasn’t knowledgeable with the Murphy women’s past before reading this book, the history and ins and outs of their relationships were developed so well and I was able to know the depth that each character had because of their pasts.

My heart was in my throat when reading about the moment the hurricane's full force hit Peachtree Bluff and I commend Harvey’s description of during the natural disaster and the aftermath. I can’t imagine what people go through when they’ve had their home destroyed in one, but I now have an inkling of what it may be like.

Overall, this was a wonderful story that embodies the Christmas spirit of bringing people together and setting aside one’s worries, even if it’s for a little while.

Thank you Gallery Books for the arc. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I loved this one!

A huge thank you to Gallery Books and NetGalley for my advanced copy of Christmas in Peachtree Bluff!

Disclaimer: This is book 4 in the Peachtree Bluff Series. Please go back and start with book one.

I have loved everything KWH has written and I’m so glad she added a holiday read to this series.

What I Loved-

✨ Peachtree Bluff- I love this fictional, small, tight knit community. Reading this book felt like going home for the holidays and gave me all the warm and fuzzy feels.

✨The Murphy’s- I adore this family. (Please adopt me 🙏)
This book was written with multiple POVs. In the previous novels we were given 2 POVs. ( Ansley, the mom and one of the daughters) In this book we follow Ansley, each of the daughters and Vivi: Ansley’s oldest granddaughter. Vivi was a wonderful addition. KWH went above and beyond when writing this novel. I feel spoiled. ♥️.

✨ The Drama- I love the family drama / relationship dynamics within the Peachtree novels. They’re always so well written. Nothing ever feels over the top, rushed or just thrown in Willy Nilly for the sake of checking off a box.

✨ The Writing- This book was binge worthy. It was hard to put down.

Overall- Highly recommend. I really hope this series gets adapted. I can’t wait to read Kristy’s newest novel The Wedding Veil. ( Publishing in 2022) ✨.

You can tell while reading this how much fun Kristy Woodson Harvey had writing about these characters again. I felt like I was reading a Hallmark Christmas movie. Lovely story that leaves you feeling cozy and warm!

Another reviewer said reading this book was like being wrapped in a warm embrace, and really, I can't do better than that.

The Murphy women--Ansley, Caroline, Sloane, and Emerson--gather in Peachtree Bluff for Thanksgiving before most of them fly to NYC for a few days. Ansley and Jack are planning their much-awaited Australian cruise and Ansley refuses to consider the possibility that the threatened Hurricane Pearl might disrupt their plans. Hurricane Vivi--Caroline's difficult 15 year old--succeeds where Pearl might have failed, but delaying their departure until the hurricane does hit.

In the following weeks, the family cleans up from the hurricane's devastation, both physical and psychological, putting enough healing in place for the best Christmas season ever. This is a perfect, heartwarming Christmas story, and if the Murphy women themselves seem a little too perfect, despite occasional setbacks, just suspend your disbelief and enjoy. #ChristmasInPeachtreeBluff #NetGalley

This is the 4th book in the Peachtree Bluff Series, and I think you really need to have read the others to connect with the characters and storylines in this book. I have read all 3, but the last one I read over 2 years ago, and found myself needing to go back and refresh myself on a few of the characters and storylines. Until I got the characters and their stories fresh in my mind, I felt it was a little hard to get into.

The story is set (mostly) in Peachtree Bluff, during the holiday season. Jack and Ansley have a dream trip to Australia planned, and there is a hurricane coming (though Ansley is in denial). To avoid the hurricane, the rest of the family heads to New York, but Ansley and Jack and their granddaughter Vivi end up missing the cutoff for evacuations and end up needing to shelter in place. The family needs to pull together to get through this trying time, and the main characters find themselves re-examining their choices, and trying to figure out what they want their futures to look like.

This was a nice addition to the series, and the holiday setting helps set this one apart from the others. If you enjoyed the other Peachtree Bluff books, you will enjoy this one.

I received a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Visiting Peachtree Bluff always gives me the welcoming feeling of going home. In this book, which is the fourth in the series, it's almost Christmas and a hurricane has been forecast. The Murphy family has gathered to celebrate the holiday and now they need to weather this storm that is headed their way along with some of the stormy relationships currently happening. Christmas in Peachtree Bluff will give you all the cozy feels for this town along with a great holiday story.

I received an ARC of this book through Net Galley. I had not read the first three in the series. My first thought was to just go ahead and read this one. If I liked it, I would go back and read the others. I’m so glad I changed my mind and decided to read the other three first. You could read them separately, but I think they are much better read in order. That said, I loved this book. The characters, the setting, the time of year, even the hurricane, all made this book a delight. At the end of this one, the author says that she thought she was done with this series after the first three. She was not planning on another one, but suddenly came up with the idea for this one. If that means this is the last one, it ended perfectly. We can all hope she has some more inspiration and writes another one down the road!

In the newest installment of New York Times bestselling author Kristy Woodson Harvey’s Peachtree Bluff series, three generations of the Murphy women must come together when a hurricane threatens to destroy their hometown—and the holiday season in the process.
I have read every book in this series and I was eagerly awaiting the next one. Thanks to Gallery Books and NetGalley for the chance to read it early.
I really enjoyed this one as much as I did the others. I recommend this book!

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of reading Peachtree Bluff books. Kristy Woodson Harvey could keep writing these endlessly and I will keep reading them. I would like to read one of these books every summer for the rest of my life. But serious, I never thought we would get a Christmas Peachtree Bluff book and here we I would like to read one of these books every summer for the rest of my life.

Sometimes we just want a book that feels nice. And every time I read one of these books it feels lovely. This is the family that’s comes together every time there is tragedy and they made it work. Of course these women have immense privilege but they still have trauma, like we all do. I know everything’s gonna work out in the end but it’s not always easy. There’s never a perfect tie up at the end and yet these books are always completely satisfying.
