I’ve been waiting for Axel and Rooney’s story ever since I first encountered them in Always Only You, and Chloe Liese DID NOT LET ME DOWN. I wasn’t sure how a marriage of convenience would work in a contemporary story, but not only did Liese make it work, she made it beautiful – it’s impossible NOT to root for these two, even as they work through their issues, both individually and as husband and wife. This book might’ve done what I heretofore thought was impossible: dethroning Ren as my favorite Bergman.

My one quibble was that I wish we had gotten to see the rest of the Bergmans finding out about these two crazy kids getting hitched, but I think that’s more of an indication of the strength of the world/family that Liese has built more than anything.

I love these books so so much, y’all. Steamy, tender, thoughtful stories populated with characters who are diverse in so many ways. Whether or not romance is your thing, I would encourage you to check in with the Bergman clan and get to know them – they are SO easy to love

The Bergman Brothers series always feels like a warm hug when you need it the most. Chloe Liese writes such realistic, heartfelt, and just plain heart-wrenching romances. This is a contemporary romance that employs the marriage of convenience trope and like all of Chloe's books, this one will definitely make you cry when you least expect it. This book features chronic illness and autism rep. It's so fun to see Axel and Rooney fall for each other for real and explore the connection they can't deny.

i listened to this book and it was excellent. I really love this series but I think it's best to consume it via audio. Chloe is doing an excellent job with the Bergman Brothers/Sisters series.

Chloe Liese knows how to write romance!

WITH YOU FOREVER is just want I needed. This grumpy/sunshine story is full of laughs, understanding, and spicy. Told in dual point of views. You get to know Axel and Rooney deeply. Each listens and is compassionate to their different struggles. Of course the humor and laugh out loud moments are my favorite (just like in all of her other novels.)

Overall, I really liked it!

"With You Forever" by Chloe Liese was the comfort read I didn't know I needed until I picked it up. The Bergman Brothers series is probably in my top 10 romances... every single one. Each book gives you something and brings up different aspects of the characters lives that are relatable to many, and rarely seen by a lot of people. This book is very much of the same.

When I picked this book up, I had just been through a break up with someone who is on the spectrum. Funnily enough, I also suffer from bowel issues due to medications. There were aspects of this book that really spoke to me. Some hilarious hijinks ensued. And I usually don't enjoy the "marriage of convenience" trope, but here I am completely infatuated with Rooney and Axel. And their dog... and the A-Frame cabin. Even the side characters are precious. I also would like to think feelings are really just Heartburn and take a tums but obviously it's important to let love in and know it's ok to love! And be loved! The ending of course had me crying happy tears. And this read healed my own sad heart just a little bit more. Thanks Chloe for another beautiful installment of your own heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears! Your craft does not go unnoticed!

Chloe Liese is an auto buy author for me, so when I saw this on NetGalley, I couldn’t jump fast enough.
As promised, this book delivered some of my favorite tropes: grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, and marriage of convenience.
I’ve been waiting since book one of the Bergman brothers series to learn more about the inner workings of Axel’s brain. After reading, I’m certainly not disappointed. He’s now one of my favorite family members!

I really enjoyed the first three books of the Bergman Brothers series, so I should have been more excited to read With You Forever. But I’m not a fan of the fake marriage trope (I mean seriously…this isn’t regency-era fiction, why are there still contemporary romance stories written where someone “has to” get married in order to collect their inheritance?).

So this one stayed in my ARC TBR list far past when I should have read it. And I’m not going to lie. This one started rough for me. I don’t do slow burn well (that's on me) and it took a good 30 percent for the embers to even think about igniting here. But as per usual with this series, the Bergman siblings (plus a colorful cast of side characters) bring all the humor needed to light things up and keep me interested. Then I fell in love with the characters and their love story.

The other thing I’m really appreciating about this series are the different physical and mental challenges the characters deal with. We’ve had a deaf hero, an autistic heroine with arthritis, a hero with severe anxiety, and in this book the hero is autistic and the heroine deals with a chronic illness. And bonus points for not treating irritable bowel disease with the tact of a 12 year old boy, instead giving us a realistic look at what someone who lives with that health issue experiences.

Chloe Liese does a fabulous job creating unique characters who deal with realistic life issues. And her dialogue is fantastic. She stays away from the things that make me cranky about the tropes I’m not a fan of. So I’ll remember that the next time she writes a trope I’m not crazy about. It will most likely be an enjoyable read anyway!

Author Chloe Liese writes some of the most beautiful, realistic romance I've had the pleasure of reading. The characters feel incredibly authentic and deal with real-world issues.

There are so very many things I loved about it, including the marriage of convenience and forced proximity aspects. However, this really does feel like it's just the beginning.

Every single Bergman book has been sheer perfection (and somehow all different ... yet all perfect). I haven't read many books featuring marriages of convenience, so I wasn't sure how it was going to go, but I never should've had any question about it. The author did it complete justice. It helps that there are such wonderful characters involved (Axel & Rooney, I love you forever). This book was just a delight, all while dealing with some real life issues. I will forever read these books & recommend them to everyone I know.

So great! Rooney is a dynamic character and I bought into their chemistry from the jump. Chloe never misses.

I've loved every single book in the Bergman Brothers series so far, and I honestly think WITH YOU FOREVER might just be my favorite! I loved the dynamic between Axel and Rooney -- the epitome of a grumpy/sunshine romance!

Holy cow…this one was spicy. Chloe Liese once again does not disappoint. She consistently writes romance in a way that rings true to the actual human experience. I fell in love with Axel and Rooney, and I especially appreciate the struggles that they both go through. No perfect people here! And two big thumbs up for normalizing therapy!

With You Forever by Chloe Liese is the fourth novel in her Bergman Brothers series. The story explores the friendship and developing relationship between Axel and Rooney. Both characters are relatable, lovable, and perfect for each other. There are so many sweet moments in this novel. Chloe Liese weaves representation and handles situations with such care in her novels in a way that makes readers fall in love with her characters and stories. Readers should not miss out on this novel and all of the others in this series.

With You Forever is the newest installation from Chloe Liese, the fourth book in The Bergman Brothers series. The story follow Axel and Rooney, a pair with whom we got a chance to meet in the previous stories from Chloe.

Their story follows the grumpiest of grumps, Axel and Rooney, the sunshine in human form & their not-so-traditional relationship and the hardships that come with a pair, who fight their own demons on a day-to-day basis.

Rooney is following her heart to a place that could give her peace. After an eventful few months, her usually put-together life is upside down. Everything that had made her could possibly be in the past – law school, her relationship with her best friend – and the realization is suffocating her already fragile mind and body.

Axel is in trouble: the family A-frame, where he is at most comfortable with himself and the world is in dire need of a renovation. With him spending most of his time in the Washington area it’s seems straighforward to bear the burden of the costly upkeep. There’s only one problem, ever since his faithful encounter with Rooney in LA, his muse stopped talking to him. Which is bad, because, exactly how is he supposed to pay for all of this?

So when Axel gets the notification about his uncle’s will and the stipulations that come with it, he gets an idea: enter a strictly business-based marital status with someone – literally could be anyone, see where this goes? – so help raise the money to finish up the renovations before his meddling family realises.

As Rooney arrives on his doorstep, Axel is faced with a dilemma. His job is in jeopardy – because of her. She needs shelter and peace – he could offer that. But… how could he face each and every day with her being near him. Could he keep her at arms’ length, for both of their sakes?

Could Rooney help him mend the A-frame as well as mend their lust-frayed hearts?

I loved how the characters fell in love with each other, after reading about them circling each other every occasion they shared the same room. Axel being Axel made things super sweet, his protective, silent & brooding nature was the balm that helped Rooney to keep it together and I was honestly here for it.

I loved how they both struggled with coming to terms with their respective life-situations and then decided to, you know, add some extra tension into the mix by marrying one another! Oh, how I LOVE the marriage of convenience trope. And here, ladies and gentlemen, with the forced proximity (there is only one bed that’s nice enough to sleep in), the domesticated bliss with the dog & cat. I meaaann, he gave her COOKING lessons in a TINY kitchen!

Axel carries a lot of characteristics which are shared with my all time favourite romance heroes, so I knew from almost the get-go I would fall in love with him. The only thing that bothered me was the conflict, but it wasn1t anything major. And the sweet grand gesture by Axel himself was pretty special. Oh, I do want to read Viggo’s story desperately, the smug son of a gun has earned to be put into his place.

So, in conclusion:
Why should you read With You Forever?
• If you love romance novels centered around wonderlust and beautiful scenery.
• Because you like reading friends-to-lovers trope.
• If you want to experience how a grumpy loner falls in love blushingly with an awkward STEM-loving sunshine, grab this one!
• You like representative romance: the book deals with autism and IBS. This could be also a trigger warning!
• Because it and offers chemistry! I mean it: IT’S HOT IN HERE!

This was good…I’m not sure the marriage of convenience really worked for me. I couldn’t really connect with that trope. Besides that, I did really enjoy this book but it’s definitely not my favorite in this series.

Be aware of spoilers below:

It really bugged me that the family and Willa never found out about the marriage, like I really think it should have came out in the end because now they are married and are actually together and like what, they are just going to keep that from everyone??

Most of the books in this series don’t have epilogues, which makes sense because it’s an on going series but I feel like this book needed one and I would have liked a cute Christmasy scene at the end with Rooney and Axel and the whole family.

I have spent the last couple of months bingeing The Bergman Brothers series by Chloe Liese! It’s official…I have fallen in love! Chloe just has a way of writing funny, heartfelt, inclusive, and steamy romances that I just cannot get enough of so I was so excited to read her newest release, With You Forever!

With You Forever is Axel’s story. In the first three books he has been a very elusive character so I was curious to see a deeper side of him and I was not disappointed. I also loved that Rooney had IBS and I really related so much to her. Chloe did such a great job of highlighting the struggles of someone with a chronic condition and the role of a supportive partner. I did miss the rest of the Bergman family as they played a bigger role in the other books, but that wasn’t a deal breaker.

If you have not read Chloe’s books, you need to add them to your TBR! I promise that you will get a unique and unputdownable contemporary romance.

Thank you so much to the author and Netgalley for the gifted copy. All opinions are my own.

Chloe Liese has been one of my favorite author discoveries from the last couple of years. I'm truly convinced she can do no wrong and I'd honestly read her grocery list at this point. I love how inclusive her books are and how she handles both mental and physical health in them. The Bergman Brothers series has been pure joy to read and With You Forever was a perfect addition.

I've been sitting on this review for way too long, hoping I would come up with the perfect words to describe a book that I loved so much. I haven't yet, but I'm going to try anyhow. Long story short, this book was an absolute delight to read. The tropes — marriage of convenience, forced proximity, friends first, sunshine and the grump — hit all the right notes and they were all done in a way that's uniquely Chloe. Along with all that tropey goodness, Axel and Rooney's story brings discussion of mental health and chronic illness. It was basically the perfect realistic romance and I loved every single minute of it.

Every character in the Bergman Brothers series has found their way into my heart, so I loved getting an opportunity to catch up with them while I fell for Axel and Rooney. This book was the perfect combination of heartwarming, funny and sexy. It gave me all the swoons and feels, along with some heat, naturally. I couldn't love it more.

I loved books 1 and 2, but books 3 and 4 haven’t been nearly as good in my opinion.

With You Always follows Axel Bergman. He’s an artist who is missing inspiration and thus also income. He wants to help fix his family’s beloved A-frame house in the woods of Washington state. But he can’t fix it without money. Rooney is a friend of the Bergman’s who needs a place to crash for a month or two while she gets her life and her law school plans together. Her BFF Willa tells her to stay at the A-frame during this time and runs into Axel. Axel has an inheritance that he can use to fix the house, but there’s a stipulation that says he must be married to get this money. He convinces Rooney to marry him for the money. This slow burn marriage of convenience turns into something real.

The plot of this one was just too outlandish for me. The stipulation of being married to get the money was a lot and Axel’s brother is a player in the NHL. He can’t lend the money for his own family’s home? None of the other siblings can help with this? I must commend the author who does a wonderful job portraying real characters with real health issues; Rooney’s chronic illness was very heartfelt and definitely eye opening for her situation. I did like the chemistry between Axel and Rooney, but it wasn’t enough to save this book for me.

The way I am so invested in this fictional family!!

I sincerely loved this book; definitely my my favorite of the series so far! It was gentle and tender with the *perfect* slow burn. I so appreciate the way Chloe crafts these inclusive, accessible love stories with characters you can't help but connect with. I am so excited for the future of this series!

A big thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.
