All the stars for this book. Chloe can do no wrong for me and somehow each book has gotten better than the last. Like, seriously, how talented is this woman???

I loved everything about it-but especially the following:
-Forced proximity
-Marriage of convenience
-Steam and oh, the pining
-Grumpy hero
-Chronic illness representation
-Autism representation
-A wonderful dog and a cat
-A stoned minister
-Supportive friends and family

My heartfelt thanks for Chloe Liese writing characters for everyone so beautifully and masterfully and to NetGalley for allowing me the chance to read and review this arc.

Make sure you pre-order this and if you’ve been sleeping on reading any of the Bergman brothers and sisters please do yourself a favor and dive in - you will not be disappointed.

So…I’m gonna need a formal apology from Chole. It was so rude how she decided to toy with my emotions like that! It took me 2 days to read this and I was a mess the entire time. I read it at work 🙄 which I hate. Cause I just wanted to lose my 💩 in peace and not risk getting fired😂😂😂

Ugh!!! I loved it! This one was a warm hug full of very complex emotions. It felt like I’ve been waiting for this story for centuries and now it’s here and it did not disappoint. Rooney and Axel seemed like a very one dimensional Sunshine/Grump situation,at first, but they did not come to play. With very complicated feelings of inadequacy that threatened their happiness this one was an emotional ride. We get Autism rep and IBS rep and it follows in the Bergman Brothers tradition of being a sloooooow burn romance. Which I’m here for.

I do, however, think we need a With You Forever 2.0 because there was so much left unanswered. Although maybe it could be answered in Oliver’s book but I don’t know, I wouldn’t want that. We wouldn’t steal Ollie’s moment like that. Besides, I feel like Oliver’s story is gonna be an emotional ride for the ages.

Law student Rooney is having a rough time, when her best friend offers her the use of the Bergman family's cabin in rural Washington. Some R&R in a peaceful setting might be just what she needs to recuperate. But when she arrives from LA, she literally runs into the one person she's been avoiding--Axel Bergman, oldest brother and secret crush.

Artist Axel has been doing his best not to think about Rooney. Not to paint her. Not to relive their accidental kiss during a family game of charades. So the last thing he needs is Rooney staying in his one-room cabin while the family A-frame is undergoing emergency repairs. Repairs that he can only afford if he claims an inheritance by...getting married.

A delightful forced-proximity and marriage of convenience romance between a woman who's hiding some important medical information from the people in her life, and a man who's chosen to live in the woods because people are too complicated to deal with. Plus a persistent stray dog, an adorable kitten, and assorted friends and family who are determined to help these two find their happily ever after.

Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for the ARC to review. All opinions are my own.

THIS BOOK WAS ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! I want to scream about how much I loved this. Okay, I may have already screamed about how much I loved it to my husband....and my friends....and my mom. WHATEVER.

When I first heard that Axel and Rooney's book was next I was extremely excited. Axel was always a character that intrigued me and I loved just the little glimpses we got of him. The same exact thing goes for Rooney. Axel is quiet, reserved, and what he likes to call "grumpy". Rooney sees right through all of these traits he thinks are unappealing and loves the man underneath. As for Rooney, I honestly think we can all relate to her. She uses smiles to cover up her pain. She tries so hard to make everyone else happy that she forgets about herself and her own happiness. Axel just wants Roo to see how worthy of happiness and love she is. Reading about Rooney's mentality hit really close to home and it just made me click with her that much more.

These two share such a unique and powerful connection with chemistry that is undeniable. With You Forever is HOT, hilarious, thought provoking, moving, emotional, and a downright masterpiece. I loved these two. I loved their journey. I loved their growth both individually and as a couple. I loved it all. This series just keeps getting better and better.

Chloe Liese is one of my favorite authors, and her Bergmans series is one of my all-time favorite romance series. Needless to say, With You Forever was one of my most anticipated reads for 2021. I squealed with glee when I realized I got to read an arc of it!!

I’ve been waiting for Rooney and Axel’s book with bated breath. I couldn’t wait to see how Liese was going to write their love story. She didn’t disappoint. This book was everything I wanted and more.

This book has everything you could want! Sunshine and grump trope? Check. Slow-burn romance? Check. Marriage of convenience? Check. Swoonworthy romance? Check. Witty banter? Check. Great representation? Check. Seriously, what else could you ask for in a romance book?

Oh yeah, nothing.

Once I started this book, I struggled to put it down. I’m not kidding. I read it on my lunch break because working instead of reading was slowly killing me. Rooney and Axel’s romance was nothing short of beautiful. They formed such a strong friendship which then turned into a romantic relationship. Everything felt natural between them. I adore them. They understand each other on a deeper level and never judge each other.

One of my favorite things about this series and Liese’s writing is the representation. Her characters are diverse and written exceptionally well. So far in this series, there has been loss of hearing rep, anxiety rep, (ownvoices) autism rep, chronic IBD rep, curvy rep, and rheumatoid arthritis rep. As usual, Liese knocked it out of the park with the representation in this book. Liese wrote Rooney’s character arc beautifully. Throughout this book, we watch Rooney learn to accept that IBD is part of her life, and we see her become comfortable talking about it instead of being embarrassed. The same goes for Axel; he had grown comfortable in his ways and with his autism diagnosis. Axel had convinced himself that he couldn't have a meaningful romantic relationship with anyone. He thought he was better off alone.

I could go on and on about this book and this series, but I’ll end this review by saying everyone needs to check out this book. You’ll love it.

With You Forever - Chloe Liese

This book was an absolute JOY to read. This is truly why I read. I cried all throughout this book, I laughed, I had heart eyes... I fell IN LOVE with these characters, more than I thought possible.

Obviously I love the Bergman Brothers and Chloe Liese but she continually impresses me 😍

With You Forever follows Axel and Rooney. Axel is a Bergman brother and Rooney is Willa’s (from the first book) best friend. Rooney has ulcerative colitis, and has had a flare up and needs somewhere to stay to get away. She plans to take a solo vacation at the Bergman family’s A frame cottage, only to find out it’s unliveable and needs major construction done. She ends up staying in Axel’s small home, while Axel sleeps in a tent.

There is a marriage of convenience between Axel and Rooney and the story goes from there! I loved the side characters of Parker, Bennett, and Skyler. I loved their pets Harry and Skuggy. I loved the cozy vibes. I loved slowly watching their relationship develop and watching them open up to each other. I loved the autism and chronic illness representation. I loved diving back into this world and falling in love all over again.

Chloe, what are you doing to me? You have thrusted upon me a surly, guarded Axel mixed with the vibrant, humor filled Rooney. My heart didn’t stand a chance. This author has a magnificent way of marrying both emotion that is filled with substance and humor. Her characters are unlike anyone I have ever seen in a contemporary romance. She carefully crafts unique people that leave a lasting impression and provides representation and topics that are typically not covered. Her words pull you into the story and completely take over all your senses and fully immerse you into the story.

This is a book that takes an honest look at the intricacies of human emotions, when it’s hard to express them, and how to grow from them. I think what I enjoyed the most was that the author had two polar opposite characters each struggling with their own internal conflicts grow in a way that she only could write.

The emotional tolls of how a disease that most people fully don’t understand was depicted in a way that makes the reader feel connected to the characters and fully understand what it’s truly like to be in their shoes. There’s care and consideration that is evident with their thoughts and dialogue that the author took her time to ensure the representation was authentic.

For as much as I enjoyed Axel and Rooney, there was a huge part of the book I missed. The little presence from the Bergman clan left a void in the story and left me craving more than what was given. I wanted more of the hijinx, meddling, and sibling annoyance that the other books had. Also, I felt this book was unfinished. I was left with many questions that I felt didn’t get addressed.

Overall I think this was a solid addition to the series that brought its own unique flare. The multidimensional characters and exceptional writing style only gets better with each book. The author reinvented a classic trope by giving it a deeper meaning and once again showing there’s so much more to romance books then people realize. Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing for this ARC.

Ok wow. Instant five stars. Chloe Liese is an AMAZING author. This is the second book of hers that I've read and reviewed and now I am desperately looking for the other two in this series.

Her writing is ADDICTING. I read it one day. The characters are so raw and real. They have burdens and secrets and trauma and a million other things going on, but they love so deeply. The plot is fast and the banter is TOP NOTCH. Literally. So. Good. The smut is there but not overwhelming, just how I like it.

You don't have to read the series in order if you're okay with some spoilers. Go read this. I beg you.

This book oh man! It was so good!!! It was so inclusive and real. Her writing just immediately sucks you in. You immediately fall in love with Rooney and you know some how Axel is gonna make you love him, throw in marriage of convenience, forced proximity, kinda “enemies” to lovers, and this book was a dream boat. Bring on more of the Bergman bros because I’m here for it.

This was a great romance that had some marvelous representation of autism. I found this to be a lighthearted, but also very deep, romance between two characters who are madly in love but don't always know how to confess their feelings. Axel and Rooney hold a special place in my heart now. Thank you for the e-arc.

Chloe Liese is officially on my “must read authors” list. I adored “Always Only You” so when I got the chance to review this next book in the Bergman Brothers series I was thrilled.

This book delivered 100%!

A modern take on the “marriage of convenience” trope, this book tackles issues of mental health, chronic illness and neurodivergence gracefully and kindly all while creating a scorchingly romantic story. The backdrop of a loving and caring family, funny while supportive friends and a cast of clever animals helps temper the “tragic backstory” aspects. A plot where the protagonists have real-world struggles that are handled practically and not used as a substitute for character development is such a refreshing experience.

I could write about how great this book is forever, so to avoid spoilers: just add it to your TBR list right now!

Not my favorite of the series, but I did enjoy it. I really like when author's address real world issues in romcoms, because it makes them seem less idealized (though it is still a romance!). I will continue to read the series as it comes out most certainly!

🎨With You Forever- Chloe Liese

Alright, it’s no secret that I rave about Liese’s books- so when I caught wind of her fourth book in the Bergman Brothers series being available on netgalley, I requested that baby so fast!!

And of course, it was everything I was expecting and more. Be still, my heart.

Chloe Liese writes inclusive characters so well that I cry when reading her books- literally! She writes for the neurodiverse, the disabled, the lgbtq, the anxious- and does an AMAZING job tackling sometimes hard subjects to talk about. Basically, if you haven’t read one of her books yet, I strongly recommend you pick up this series. And perfect timing for #disabilitypridemonth 💖

What I liked 💕:
•the inclusive rep (as always 🥰)
•marriage of convenience trope (I mean, it gets me every time)
•a beautiful slow burn romance
•i laughed just as much as i felt deeply moved by this one
•adorable furry friends 🐈‍⬛🐾
•cozy cabin in the woods setting that made me nostalgic and wish i was a woodsman (or dating one 😏)

I’ll recommend this series until everyone gets tired of hearing me talk 😅

With You Forever comes out on 9/14 so be sure to snag it when it comes out!

Thank you to @netgalley and @chloe_liese for the #gifted e-arc in exchange for an honest review 💛

This series has now become my ultimate comfort adult romance contemporary series. (disclaimer: you don't even have to read all the previous ones to understand this one, but I did and that only made it better. Non-spoiler review)

"Reading about people who look and live and speak so differently from us, yet struggle like we do with their inner demons and outside forces, fight for love in their friendships and families and the people they’ve fallen for, reminds us that not only romantic love, but familial and platonic and sacrificial love is universal, and romance is timeless, that there’s a love story for anyone out there who wants one.”

- Marriage of convenience

- Forced proximity

- Healthy relationships !!!

- Playlists for every chapter :))) (Harry Styles references may or may not be included)

- Chronic illness and neurodivergent representation (and LGBT side-characters)

- The usual Swedish-American Bergman family fun

- And more!

Chloe Liese writes such relatable issues into lovable characters, with mature and nuanced conversations between them, that it almost feels like their conversation somehow includes you as the reader, even if you don't have their respective experiences.

It's ligthhearted, as cozy as the cabin in the woods the story takes place in, as sweet as gluten-free cinnamon rolls, filled with familial love, and just plain good for the soul.

This book portrays healthy relationships so well, from the rambunctious Bergman bunch that are always there for each other with their brotherly love, and the inspiring representation of communication that any relationship should aim for.

It has its hijinks, its conflicts, all wrapped up in a fast-paced read with a bit of steam on the side (but mostly heartwarming fluff).

With that in mind, it doesn't glorify the process of healing and growing together. It's hard, and sometimes you need to seek counselling or therapy, and you're surely to mess up, but that's alright. It's comforting, and hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I have.

I can't tell you how refreshing it is to read about a fulfilling healthy relationship where people can understand each other and have a kind of love that's unique and enough for them, with all the romanticisation of toxic relationships in the romance genre.

The characters themselves, as I understand it, are perfectly imperfect in relation to perfectly imperfect people that exist in the world. The male protagonist is autistic and a recluse, with trouble in letting himself be in emotionally vulnerable situations such as a romantic relationship, while the female protagonist is chronically ill and is down on her luck with what to do in life. By the end of the book, I'm not saying these issues are completely glossed over, but I appreciated with how they're dealt with and the fact that the story acknowledges that it's not as simple as a happily-ever-after to fix these, but with consistent effort to work through them together (and maybe with a partner that you trust), can you relieve yourself from guilt.

I don't see a lot of genuine healthy and mature relationship representation in books as a teen, but this definitely is an emotionally intelligent one that I've grown to love. I hope more people read this, because they'd be missing out.

So honored to have received this E-ARC from NetGalley, been looking forward to this book!

Axel and Rooney are so adorable together! I have always liked Axel's grump side, but his sweet and caring side shines through. And once again, Chloe Liese's honest portrayal of characters with chronic illnesses or mental health issues is beautifully done. Representation at it's finest.

Here are some highlights: french braiding, sensual kisses, cooking together, a puppy and a kitten, and the ever wonderful Bergman Clan.

I've said it once, but I'll say it again, I desperately want to be a part of the Bergman family! I seriously love Chloe Liese's books. They are so full of vulnerability and emotion, and I cannot get enough! In this story, we get Axel and Rooney's story. Rooney is Willa's roommate and friend from college whom we are introduced to in Willa and Ryder's story. Axel is one of the Bergman brothers, who also happens to be autistic. Rooney suffers from IBD, which she has hid from those close to her, including Willa. The characters are so real and genuine that you forget they are not real. I seriously want the Bergman family series to be made into a television series; I would watch every single episode. I am also glad that Liese scored a book deal, because that means we get more of her writing! Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about this book, this series, and Chloe Liese. All the stars for this incredible book that made me laugh and cry and gave me all the feels!

Oooooh boy! I have been waiting on the edge of my seat for the next Bergman Brothers, and it was everything I hoped it'd be and more. Like all the past Bergman books, we get some wonderful family moments, the A-frame in the woods (!!), a lot of heart, and a deliciously slow burn. This book features oldest Bergman son, Axel, and Willa's best friend Rooney. These two have been in past books, and broody painter Axel was particularly intriguing to me. Rooney's sunshiney, extroverted nature was the perfect foil for him. I loved the set up of the plot. These two characters have been pining for each other for awhile now, but have no intention of pursuing their mutual attraction. But when Rooney goes to recuperate at the A-frame, she finds Axel there doing major renovations that he needs money to complete. He has the money, sort of. But he has to be married to access it. Thus these two opposites enter into a marriage of convenience. There's so much more to the story, particularly how Axel's autism and Rooney's chronic illness take front and center roles in their love story. There's lovely side characters, and funny/awkward moments that I love. If you're a fan of this series, you will loooove this one. And if you haven't read any of them yet, this can read as a standalone, but you'll want to read them all anyway because they are the best. This is easily one of my favorite reads of the year!

Axel and Rooney are my new favorite couple. With You Forever is tied with Always Only You as my favorite book in this series. As soon as I finished reading this book, I messaged Chloe and asked that when she finished reading the book, did she sit back and bask in the fact that she wrote yet another masterpiece for this family?

Enjoyed, loved, and consumed are words that start to describe how I felt about this story. I loved that Axel and Rooney truly grew with one another and that they had these beautiful, tender moments that only Chloe can write. Their love story has been building since book one and it culminated with this beautiful marriage of convenience, forced proximity, (eventual) friends-to-lovers romance.

The only thing missing from this book was more of the Bergman family! I missed their antics (besides a brief cameo by the hilarious, yet heartfelt Oliver and Viggo) and felt like while I understood that Axel connected with his family the least, which explains their absence, I still wanted their insights and interaction.

Thank you to Chloe Liese & NetGalley for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Chloe Liese has done it again! I couldn't put down With You Forever and read the entire book in one day. Liese is a hidden gem.... and I already can't wait for the next book in the Bergman Brothers series!

Rooney is sick. Her intestines are a mess, she's taken a semester off law school and is determined to relax. She has to prioritize her health or the outcome could be severe. Her best friend Willa loaned her the Bergman family cabin, and it sounds like the perfect solution to Rooney's problems.

Rooney's world comes crashing down around her with she pulls up to the cabin and spots Axel. Willa's brother is too hot to handle but wants nothing to do with her after their kiss at last family's Thanksgiving.

An emergency lands Rooney at Axel's cabin and the two settle into something more than either thought was ever possible. A marriage of convenience, a construction project, and a new kitten lead Rooney and Axel on the journey of a lifetime.

A slow burn, own voices romance- Liese's books are hot hot hot! Preorder this one today!

Chloe Liese does it once again!

With You Forever has managed to work its way to the top for my favorite Bergman Brothers book. I feel like I say this every time a new one comes out, but I feel like this one will definitely be hard to beat!

The tropes in this!

The fake marrige! The forced proximity! The mutual pining! The grump-sunshine dynamic! The "we can totally just screw this out of our systems" mindset!

Axel and Rooney had me grinning and literally laughing out loud at some of their banter but then would have me almost in tears when they would open up to each other. I personally do not have Autism or IBS so I can't say one way or another on how those were portrayed but I'm just so glad these Bergman Brothers books makes these things more accessible to those that do so that there's books where they can feel seen as well!

Chloe always knocks it out of the park and I honestly cannot wait for this book to be available to the public so that everyone can experience this wonderful piece!!
