This was a miss for me. The writing was repetitive and redundant. The characters weren't particularly likeable. As Some basic research was needed regarding the subject matter. Overall, the book just didn't flow well. I felt like I was reading a bad sterotype.

A Seal’s Seduction by Tawny Weber was a little different take on a common plot theme. Military daughter who swears she will have nothing to do with a military man and ends up with him anyway.
I had trouble with this story. There were too many instances of repeating words and descriptions. Every time this happened, I ended up stopping my reading and going back thinking, “Didn’t I just read this?” Unfortunately, it happened several times taking me out of the story.
I liked the characters, but I could not love them. Alexia was basically a snot. We were reminded of her extreme intelligence and communication expertise often. She neither communicated well, nor seemed very smart at times. I could not relate to her and her immaturity; especially with her interactions with her parents.
Blake was better. I did like him and his military expertise. A major event happened in the beginning of the story that shook Blake deeply. Although the incident was discussed several times throughout the book, I never felt as though Blake was given the chance to deal with it. I know it was not the main focus of the story, but I felt that it was an oversight and Blake was short changed.
Although the book as a whole had some issues for me, there were some really great action scenes. They were so well written; my attention was captured and I could not stop reading.
While A Seal’s Seduction was not the best on romance or sex, the action scenes were very good. They made the book for me.
