All kids will definitely love this book and it's funny story with vibrant colors. I really enjoyed it and found myself laughing out loud.

A fun addition to the popular interactive book genre. Doesn't really break new ground, but if interactive books are popular, it could be a secondary purchase.

A very cute book. This would make a good storytime book if you asked kiddos to interact with their grown ups, and would make a lovely book to read close with a kid or two of your own family. In the vein of Herve Tullet.

Thanks to Penguin Random House Canada, Tundra Books and NetGalley for providing me with a free copy of this book in return for my honest review.
What a fun book! The button book is all about buttons, colors and what happens when you push a button. Great to read to infants who will like the fun story and age appropriate illustrations. Adults may read this to their little ones but this is one that I can see children pulling out and having fun by themselves. Each colored button has a different result when you press it, and once it gets to the end of the colors it reverses order until it is time to sleep. All I can say is, beware of Green! Fun book for one and all. Top notch work by both the author and illustrator.

I really enjoyed reading a bunch of books for babies while pregnant. This was adorable and I loo forward to seeing it in stores.

This is an adorable and fun book. I love the interactive elements and overall goofy vibe of the story. The artwork is excellent and inviting. I liked the way the book went through the different colors of the buttons it is a great way to practice colors. The bedtime ending is really sweet too. Overall a great addition to a little one's library.

This little book is so much fun! I shared it with my 6 year old and she loved it - she has always been a fan of books that require you to interact with them, like “Press Here” by Herve Tullet or “Don’t Push the Button” by Bill Cotter. As a librarian, I love these types of books for story times, too as they really engage my listeners. This one also introduces shapes and colors - and since I’m a STEAM instructor, it will fit into story times nicely!

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC!

Adorable book. My 19 month old son loved the silliness and interaction it encourages. The illustrations were a little too busy and the “buttons” would be great if they were real buttons like some Melissa and Doug books have. It was a little abstract for a young toddler to understand but maybe easier for a slightly older child. Regardless, it’s a really fun book and great for encouraging vocabulary development and a love of books.

I received an electronic ARC from Penguin Random House Canada through NetGalley.
Clever interactive book for young readers. Each page spread offers readers the chance to push a button and turn the page to see what happens. All are interactive in some way. The illustrations capture the fun and joy involved. Love the final button that triggers quiet and rest.
A terrific book for families to share and engage with.

There have been many books that have tried to copy the success of Press Here. This is just another book in many. The illustrations are more entertaining, and the conventions of what happens when you press a button work really well for at home reading. I wouldn’t want to do this at story time, and many of the kids may be strangers to each other and pressing a button that requires everyone to hug, could cause problems. Overall I liked this book and would add it to my collections, it’s not one I would use in a public setting. And in all honestly, others have done the trope better.

I was given this book for free in exchange for a review. With that being said the illustrations in this book make it very different than many other books. These are illustrations kids will enjoy and they are bright with beautiful colors. Kids will enjou the story line however, it is disjointed or not really apparent. It is a childrens book however, so a story line, plot line isnt really necessary. Overall, a wonderful colorful and fun book for kids!

I loved both the cheekiness of the characters and the decorum of the narrator in this book. I also love that the book explores colors in such a fun way.

This book is a fun, interactive way to talk about colors with young children. The illustrations are engaging and the writing is rhythmical, making it a fun read-aloud for parents and children.

It's a cute book for kids, but some parents are shifting to books with meaning behind it. We understand you press the button and something happens but what is it teaching our kids?

'Silly and sweet' is truly the perfect way to describe this book. It's cute and has a (very light) plot but leaves plenty of room for imagination, play, and fun when reading it with kids.

Thank you to Penguin Random House Canada, Tundra Books, and NetGalley for providing me with a e-arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is an adorable book that toddlers would enjoy to help learn about colors. My son made me read it to him multiple times. So fun!

Not my favourite children’s colour book by far. I was disappointed that the orange button wasn’t a true orange colour but rather more golden. Colour books need to have distinct colours.. What happens when you ‘push’ a button is rather disappointing. There was potential here but I think the author/illustrator missed the mark.
