Firstly, the illustrations in this book are just breathtaking and they would be very appealing to children. The story follows a little girl's daydreams as she soars through the clouds on the back of a bird. As she journeys, she asks all the questions she has in her head. What was a lovely surprise for me at the end of the book was the answers to all her questions, so there is a science component to this book as well. I would definitely use this book in a classroom and it would particularly lend itself to a unit study on clouds or weather. I would use it with grades K-2.
