As Good as Dead wraps up A Good Girl's Guide to Murder trilogy. I love Pippa, the main character, and enjoyed reading about her again. The story, however, wasn't as strong as the first two books. I would love to see more of Pippa as she goes off to college and encounters new adventures.

Unpopular review, but that's ok.

This was WAY too long. There were two parts of this book - the first was definitely a solid 4 star read. Pip, our protaganist, is dealing with PTSD and a fear of the police station. There is a lot of repetition throughout this book, which added to the length. Overall, it was just too much and went off the rails very quickly.

In the first half of this book, Pip has a stalker. It is genuinely terrifying... yet she doesn't tell anyone. Why wouldn't she enlist the help of her parents? I get that the police shrug her off (which, again, seems a bit odd), but she has no other trusted adults?

In the second half of the book, it just is... too much. It's clever, I guess, but also completely unrealistic. I was rolling my eyes throughout the entire thing. And again, the repetition... like, this could have easily been cut by 50 pages just by taking out everything that Pip repeats.

There was just SO MUCH that was so far-fetched I couldn't give this more than 3 stars.

I purchased a copy of this book for my class library. The entire trilogy is really well loved. I personally felt the final book was a little less interesting as it got started, but it continued to be really enjoyable.

Well…not a favorite series for sure.

I was really disappointed with the choices Pippa made in this book. Instead of the redemption arc I’d hoped for I got…we’ll a villain trend? Idk but I didn’t enjoy it.

I think the hardest part for me is this series started as YA and this feels more like NA and rather than have it show a change of heart it just glorified her poor (and disastrous) choices.

I sadly cannot recommend this series - which is a shame because book 1 was great!

Note: A LOT of language and some violent descriptions as well as drug use.

My rating: 2*

As Good as Dead picks up right where the others in the series did. I was immediately on the edge of my seat while reading and did not want this book to end! This book can be read as a standalone however; I recommend reading the other two before.

Thank you to Delacorte Press for the eARC of As Good As Dead!
I was eagerly anticipating this finale installment of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, but I'm sorry to say that it didn't really work for me. The characters, Pip especially, felt so out of character from the first two books that I had a really hard time even getting through it.

Great conclusion to the Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Trilogy. Sad it’s over! Can’t wait for the show!

This finale to this trilogy was not what I was expecting.

It was a hell of a ride. After reading this book, it’s a good thing the series is called A Good Girls Guide to Murder. Pips transformation from the first book this was intense and emotional.

The only downside was Part 2 in this book, without giving anything away, I think it was longer than it needed to be but I understand that the author wanted to cover everything and give the reader all the details.

I received this book free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I don't think this book was my favorite. I think as this series went on, i think i did not love the characters as much. I enjoy this book and felt that it was hard to predict the twists ad turns but the main character became very unlikable and because of that i tihnk this book feel a iitte bit flat for me. It was a quick listen but i am not sure this series got better as it went on!

I was not as impressed with this book as much as the others. I thought the situation could have been handled better.

Pip has investigated murders in the past but is now the one receiving threats. As the threat becomes more real to her, Pip enters a race against time to find out who wants her dead.

I enjoyed the book but was able to very quickly figure out what was going on in the book. It also seemed like Pip was going off the rails in a way that didn't seem like the character we got to know in the first two books.

The final explosive book in the good girls guide to murder series!!

***Pip is about to head to college, but she is still haunted by the way her last investigation ended. She’s used to online death threats in the wake of her viral true-crime podcast, but she can’t help noticing an anonymous person who keeps asking her: Who will look for you when you’re the one who disappears?

Soon the threats escalate and Pip realizes that someone is following her in real life. When she starts to find connections between her stalker and a local serial killer caught six years ago, she wonders if maybe the wrong man is behind bars***

The Final book in the series did not disappoint. Unlike the first 2 books, PIp is trying to solve crimes this time she's the center of it! This one took a different turn from the first two and has a very big twist that I wasn't expecting! I love Holly's writing she keeps you guessing and interested all the way through. I was sad to see the series end.
I did find parts of the story hard to read as Pip is struggling with the aftermath of book 2 and struggling with depression and drugs so it was much harder to read than others.

This book started out as strong as the others and then went off the damn rails. The precocious and Nancy Drewish stupidly-named Pip Fitz-Amobi has gone off her nut in this book to the point where it becomes unbelievable. Without ruining anything, she makes some choices in this that are completely unrealistic and out of character (which were also completely unnecessary bc she could easily have claimed her actions were in self-defense. Easily. Proof abounded) . Also, damn girl, when you are the biggest enemy of like 8 people, stop going on nighttime runs with headphones in all the time. Buy a treadmill with your mad sponsorship money. As usual, Pip’s friends and family are the standout characters in this book, esp Ravi. She gets on my nerves, but they balance her out. But yeah, this was the weakest so far.

This is the perfect finale to the A Good Girl's Guide to Murder series! Pip finds herself in danger this time. I found myself sad that the series was ending!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an eARC.

This series was so good. I loved the evolution of the stories and how everything tied together in the end.

The tone of the final Good Girls installment is a noticeable departure from the first two books. Gone is the snarky, confident Pip. The traumas of the first two books has finally caught up with her. Now she’s coping with PTSD and a stalker. Ravi continues to be the amazing support he’s been all along. The second half of the book focuses on tying up loose ends-with shocking and controversial results. A satisfying end to a fun series.

A great finish to the series. Jackson is a master of plot twists and keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end.

This series was so much fun. It is a light read with lots of twists and turns. I think the audio version added a little something extra. I do not usually do series and I am glad I stuck with this one.

This was a great end to the trilogy. It was dark while staying age appropriate. I appreciated the deeper themes woven throughout the story.
