This book is inspirational and perfect for feeding my daughter who adores Nachos. This will defeat be on my Christmas list and not just for me

Nachos are one of those foods that hit the spot any time and with 'Nachos for Dinner' you could eat them until the end of time without ever getting stuck in a cheese and tomato rut. You will find recipes to satisfy most any craving and flavours that will tickle every tastebud. From herbivore to carnivore, every om-nom-nom-nivore will find a nacho to crunch.
This cookbook is also a joy to read. Dan takes you back to the humble beginnings of the 'nacho', and gives a beautiful culinary history, giving credit where credit is due, while acknowledging that the food we eat is often inspired by many culinary traditions. He encourages readers to dig deeper into more authentic representations of the traditions inspiring the flavours and combinations found here.
I made the Carne Asada, and while the recipe itself was (unfortunately) nothing special, the inspired combination of crispy potatoes (this recipe and technique will ruin all other roasted potatoes for you!), cheese sauce, carne asada, and chimichurri was exceptional. I would love to make every recipe within the pages of this book, and am certain that with them, I will be eating nachos for the rest of my days.
This cookbook is great for adventurous eaters, those who love trying new flavours, those looking for a bit of inspiration, and of course, everyone who love nachos!

This book is jam packed full of different creative recipes to jazz up your nachos!

The book is appealing and easy to read. Each recipe is set out quite simply and not too over complicated. The pictures and colours add a bit of excitement to the book show what your results will look like. It provides plenty of options for sauces and toppings with variations of each. It brings a lot of fun and different to the normal run of the mil nacho recipe.

Personally I love cooking and experimenting and this book provides me with many recipes for nachos that I would never have thought up on my own. Would be a really fun way to spend the night with some friends and try out some different option.

Delicious! Worth the price of admission for the cumin roasted cauliflower alone. I love the variety, creativity, and sheer inventiveness of some of these recipes.

One of my favorite things about a cookbook based on a simple idea (I mean how hard are nachos?!) is having everything in one place. This cookbook pulls together all the layers of nachos - from bases to sauces to hearty fillings to toppings - giving several options of each, plus plenty of inspiration for full nacho pans. I'll be honest, one of my favorite things to do with a cookbook or a recipe is to use it as inspiration and then adjust the idea with my own experience and ideas. This book lends really well towards that. I see plenty of recipes that I would try "as-is", but I see a few that I want to try with my own version of guacamole, homemade beans, or bolognese sauce. There are plenty of ideas in Nachos for Dinner and many of them are, indeed, hearty enough to be a meal.

Last night’s bedtime reading left me wanting a midnight snack (I refrained - barely)! Tacos are one of my favorite food groups. Nachos are just deconstructed tacos, right?

3 ⭐️ for the (mostly) yummy sounding recipes. I wish there were more! There are also lots of color photos, which is a huge plus in my book. I enjoyed some of the nontraditional ideas and am planning try one soon.

I love nachos! This was a great book that inspired many meals to come. I love the all the different and amazing sounding recipes. Ways I would never have thought to make nachos and can't wait to try them all.

A great book with a wide variety of how to be creative with nachos. The author uses a variety of influences and sets out all the recipes so well and clearly.

If you love nachos, you will not be disappointed by this book. If you love creativity you will not be disappointed by this cookbook. If you like drool worthy photos, you will also not be disappointed. (Though I would be lying if I said I didn't want to see more) I personally can't wait to use my next paycheck to purchase this cookbook. Nachos are hands down one of my favorite foods, and this book takes that love to a new level that still sounds delicious. Cannot wait to explore this book in the kitchen and I will update my review as I do that. It also includes a small, not as enticing dessert section, though that's understandable as nachos are typically not sweet, nor is it what you think of whenever you think of nachos.

I will so buy a copy of this when it comes out! ( I read an advanced reader's copy.) This book contains so many creative elements to combine into many different fun dinners, complete with a few desserts! The author uses many different flavor traditions, everything from the traditional Mexican to Korean and southern shrimp and grits. His enthusiasm about combining flavors in new ways makes the reader want to break out a sheet pan and get started. There are many recipes in this book that I can see using on a salad if you can't afford the calories from chips and cheese on a regular basis. In any case, this book will help make dinner more interesting for quite some time.

This was a very specific cookbook but I was definitely here for it. I loved reading different nacho recipes and I'll definitely be trying a ton of them.

This is such a fun cookbook! We frequently have BBQ nachos and regular nachos for dinner in our household so I was hoping to get some new inspiration in from this one and it did not disappoint! Bulgogi nachos and Lasagna'chos using pasta chips? Genius!!

I think you could use this book as part of a super fun housewarming gift! A basket with this, some cute kitchenware and the makings of one of the recipes would be so cute! Love this one.

I thought this book was very clever. Before this, I had only known nachos one way. However, now I intend to purchase the book and work my way through it. Won't my Mexican friends be surprised!

This is a fun and different take on modern cookbooks, fulfilling a niche between traditional meals, “lunchbox blues,” and snacks books. Loved the color splash and photography choices. I am planning on ordering copies of this one as gifts for apartment-living college students in my family.

I was unable to download this book. It says that it was sent to my kindle, but while I can find my other titles, I have not been able to locate this one.

If you love Nachos then this is your cookbook! According to the author, you can “nachofy anything”! And he proves this theory in his recipes for breakfast and dessert nachos, nachos you wouldn’t think could be possible such as Fish Taco Nachos, Lamb Gyro Naanchos, or Apple Pie Nachos. I appreciated how this cookbook begins with a variety of recipes for the main components like, the cheese sauce, the chips, salsas and guacamole. You must stop what you are doing and go buy this book NOW!! It is a dinner time (lunch? breakfast!?) game changer. I was expecting to try a lot of really interesting nacho ideas, and yes, there are so many of those in here... think LASAGNA nachos! But above and beyond that, there are also tips on how to make tortilla chips at home, nacho cheese sauce, and so many delicious salsas and dips.

I went with the Philly Cheesesteak Nachos with homemade tortilla chops and cheese sauce, and I don't think I've ever had a better plate of nachos... all in the comfort of my own home!!!
