I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

A Blue blooded Brothers Christmas short-read...

Ally royally screwed up her job as an Internal Affairs officer in Melbourne, interrupting Cal and Danny’s investigation. When her boss offers her a second chance over Christmas, she jumps at the opportunity to make up for her mistakes, and start the new year with a fresh start. The catch? She’s going undercover to audition for a place in the task force she deceived.

Cal’s team is the best there is, and if Ally wants to resurrect her career, she needs to have this job completed by Christmas. Brett Walker is her point of contact within the small time drug racket. Sexy as hell with an easy going smile, he’s a crook and she can’t trust him.
Great easy quick read

A fast-paced novella with familiar faces. The only Christmas reference is the title and the time of year.
Sadly the descriptions of Melbourne were lacking, as was the world-building.
Being part of a series made it hard to get into. A warning in the intro would have helped.
Otherwise, a very quick read from the talented Sofia Aves.

Ally, an Internal Affairs officer in Australia, may have put an end to her career when she inadvertently interrupted an undercover operation. Her boss, Nan Bagnell gives her one chance to save her career by working with the same undercover task force. She is to live with Brett Walker as they try to shut down the drug operation that has developed a new street drug, one that has already killed twenty people. Will the attraction between her and Brett help or hinder their chances for finally taking down a known drug dealer? An entertaining novella that is part of the Blue Blooded series. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

Mugshots & Candy Canes (A Blue Blooded Brothers Christmas) by Sofia Aves
Publisher: Little Quail Press
Genre: General Fiction (Adult) | Mystery & Thrillers | Romance
Publication Date: July 20, 2021

Mugshots & Candy Canes by Sofia Aves is a romance novella related to the Blue Blooded Brothers series. I had not read any of those books, but was easily able to read this as a standalone.

I loved the storyline for this! It is a fast paced undercover cop/redemption story and I could not put it down! The characters are fascinating and the story kept my attention. The romance is fun and steamy!

This fast read is definitely worth checking out! This is the second book I've read by the author and I know it won't be the last! Great book!

I'm so grateful to Sofia Aves, Little Quail Press, and NetGalley for providing me with a free copy of this ARC ebook in exchange for my honest review.

This book was just an ok read for me! It had all the good stuff in it , intrigue, suspense, action but it was way to short for me! I'm not a fan of short stories, at all . if you like short stories this book is for you! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
