Grimm Tales from the Cave, was a very interesting read. It reminded me of the Netflix Show : "Love, Death and Robots". In its design and drawings and the different stories.
Now, this may be where my liking got cut short, because although, I love short stories, I love horror and supernatural, but it didn't feel new. There wasn't anything special nor amazing about it.
I would advise it to someone who loves horror. There is always at least one or two short, that you will like.

I am so sorry I am unable to review this book. I could not get the download to work on my computer. Perhaps the author could make future titles available within the app as well. When I tried the download, I only get a random bunch of computer information on my screen. I apologize, as I was very much looking forward to reading this title.

The anthology is a truly horror graphic book.. There are several stories written by different authors. Thee authors tell their stories in context of today’s situations in the modern world. Are you brave enough to read them? They are creepy with unexpected endings. These stories may send a shiver down your spine. This graphic book are full of fascinating characters. The stories do have a dark element to them. These are not fairy tales to read. I found the stories fascinating. The illustrations were well done and perfect for each tale told. The graphic book is perfect for anyone to read and enjoy.

Another take on Grimm Brothers' tales, still good to read. Some new stories I haven't read before. Medium on gory factor.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Thank you to netgalley and the author for allowing me access to this book.

Sadly I wasn't able to get the access that I needed from the netgalley app for this book so unfortunately I haven't been able to read this to give a proper review. That is the reason why I have given it a 1 star.

I'm sure it was a great read but as I said I could not gain access to read this at all.

I quite enjoyed this comic. Reimaginings of dark tales, some of which are quite morbid.

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.

I enjoyed reading through the retellings of the Grimm brothers' fairytales. It was a fun read, especially if you already know the fairytales well. I would not suggest this for young readers, though, as there are some sexually graphic pictures as well as gore.

This is a modernized and more adult horror graphic novel adaption of Grimm fairy tales. Most of them I couldn’t figure out what the original was referring to but I don’t know all fairy tales so that’s on me. Some that I did recognize were the pied piper, rumplestilskin, Bluebeard, and rapunzel.
I was not a fan of the art style or the stories really but I’m sure others will be. It just wasn’t for me. I found the stories rather confusing and lack luster.

Thank you to NetGalley and Diamond Book Distributors for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest review!

We all know the classic fairy tales pretty well, and this graphic novel helps add a dark, fun twist to some of the most well known. I appreciate that this piece was written and illustrated by multiple authors because it gave each story a completely different look and feel. Although there was one story I wasn't really a fan of, the general majority of them are quick reads with such beautiful panels!

If you are a fan of twisted fairy tales and want to see some absolutely GORGEOUS art pieces within fun stories, this is the piece for you!

This is a great graphic novel anthology. I enjoyed all the stories, some of the artwork took getting used to. The ones I especially liked were:
Soldiers of Fortune
Pay the Piper (I've always enjoyed the Piper story any where I find it revisited)
Birds of a Feather
Billie and Her Friend Death
and
No Good Deed

I would love to see follow up volumes. The Stories, even though they were mostly brought up to modern day settings, were still true to their origins.

Thank you to Mad Cave and Netgalley for the chance to enjoy the great art and talents of this e-ARC.

Grimm Tales from the Cave is a graphic novel comprised of several horror stories that are twists on modern fairy tales such as The Pied Piper, Rumplestiltskin & Rapunzel.

I picked up on the story origins/references with some quicker than others (probably because I'm an uncultured swine), but it was nice to see them slightly more modernised.

Each one had a brilliant art style & were gruesome in their own right, but the three stand out ones for me were Pay the Piper, Weft & Hello, My Name is. Not only were the art styles fantastic & grim, but the retellings themselves were out standing & extremely well done.

Overall, I found this an enjoyable & quick read.

Fantastic, Creepy and Mindblowing.......................
Grimm Tales From The Cave is an excellent masterpiece by all the authors and Mad Cave Studios. The graphics are wonderful and the stories are equally marvelous. I liked the fact how authors have narrated the story in context of today's situation of the world. I would say Fairy Tales Are Retold in this comic.

Grimm Tales From The Cave is a Horror Anthology Comic by Mad Cave Studios.
The tales are referenced from some old fairy tales like Rumpelstiltskin, Rapunzel and Cinderella. But the stories have been set up in the modern world. Every story depicts present situation of our society.

this is a nice twist on the Grimm brothers tale.
As with any anthologies there are some stories and art work I connected more than others (the second one especially). The take was original and pleasant. However I don't think I am the right audience for this, I will recommend it to graphic novel fans who aren't afraid of graphic depictions.

I was pleasantly surprised reading this graphic novel. I thought it was delicious and grimm. I liked the creepy reimaginings. I do enjoy retellings and this one was a fun anthology. Like others there some stories I liked more than others, I think personally I like the third one the most, The Mother's thorn. Kinda whimsical? Something fairy-tale like. It was a good quick read and something I could see myself revisiting on my free time and not just to review.

A very grim collection of comics based on fairy tales. I liked how I could easily see the influence of the selected fairy tale in the stories, although each author put their own nicely done twist in them. They were all quite creepy in their own way, but some of the stories caught my attention more than others, and I especially liked Mother's Thorn and Weft. The art styles are pretty great, but once again, my favorite is the one from Weft, as it made it all dreamy and really fairy tale like, until the twist was revealed. Overall, an enjoyable and very quick read.

This was a creative interpretation of tales from the Brothers Grimm. The art was great. At times the stories were a bit long, but overall well done.

Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A cool selection of stories is comic book style. I'm not big into comic books and hadn't paid attention when requesting this, but still read most of them. The art work was very nice as well.

This book was excellent! I've always loved Grimm's Fairy Tales so I was stoked to see this was available. It was definitely a new experience reading them as a graphic novel as opposed to a story book, but I really enjoyed it. The take on Rapunzel and Rumplestiltskin were two of my favorites. It was a quick read, but I just kept wanting more stories. I hoping for a volume II!

Dark tales, brought together in graphic novel form, with a moral to every story. This quick read is well illustrated and pleasantly “Grimm”.
