First the bad: This book is too short. It's novel length, but as with any book of Traci Hunter Abramson's, it ends too soon and the wait for the next always feels too long.

Now the good: Excellent writing, realistic characters that you quickly care about, and a plot that moves quickly but rather than leaving you behind, takes you along with it for the ride.

The Saint Squad series are always winners, but this one took a new angle. We see new flaws in our heroes as they struggled to forgive the boy who had once been the criminal behind their scopes. We meet parents and in-laws of characters and see the examples they set, both good and bad. Relationships are realistic and relatable, and characters seem real.

A page turner from beginning to end!

Yet again this book held my attention. It was such a real life story that you could see the events playing out. The reality of how to deal with the issues facing people in traumatic situations was impressive.

REDEMPTION by TRACI HUNTER ABRAMSON is an exciting romantic thriller with a good Christian message. It is a story about second chances.
I like the camaraderie between the Saints, their courage and their reliance on the Lord. The same can be said of the members of the Palmetta Institute, especially Riley, who employs Gage in spite of her husband's mistrust of him.
Both Gage and Skyler are victims of an unhappy childhood, although for vastly different reasons. There are secrets on both sides which could easily derail their budding relationship.
The suspense will keep you reading until the last page - you will not be able to put the book down. I highly recommend Redemption as a really good read.
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Covenant Communications. The opinions in this review are completely my own.
