I'm loving books set in Goat Parvo, the humor and the characters.
This was a fun addition, different fromt the usual crime thriller and I thoroughly enjoyed.
It's recommended if you love cozy mysteries and enjoy an entertaining and compelling story.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

Banjo finds a body in nearby Manton Rempville. The initials of the victim are AB.

Soon a victim with the initials CD is found in the Assisi Lake in the Woods of St Francis and the following day a victim with the initials EF is found axed to death near the same lake.
Great read

This is such an enjoyable book to read. It is funny, the characters are well drawn and the plot is full of surprises. I could not put it , and now I am on the look out for more titles by this author.

Slow paced mystery when policemen keep regular business hours and have a home life. Different from most mysteries I have read when the police are around the clock trying to solve the case. The staff mainly consists of 3 working to solve the crime. Interesting interactions. The secondary characters are well drawn. I liked the pace but was slower than I normally read. Not a bad story, not a great one either.

Thank you Netgalley and BooksGoSocial for the eARC.
This was an ok read, nothing special but had a decent atmosphere and characters. I wish there had been more of the two dogs. I mildly enjoyed the mystery, but am not dying to read more of the series. For fans of cozy English mysteries.

A cozy set in Goat Parvo with two retrievers acting as detectives Banjo and Bingo, the usual host of village characters and plenty of bodies.

A twist in the tale because the victims are following a certain pattern. The first one has the initials AB the second CD and it continues. Will anyone who has sequential letters be at risk and how can the detectives provide protection and prevent any further mayhem and murder.

The reasons for the murder are indistinct - coult it be an environmentalist group angry over the destruction of trees, is a football club involved because that seems to be a common factor in the murders and then there is a well established artists cooperative where many clues are found.

Left to the detectives to solve this mystery in the charming atmosphere of an English village with such interesting, sometimes eccentric characters.

A bit of a stereotypical English mystery. It was ok, nothing too new or shocking. Its always atmospheric to be set in England- the usual cast of characters and a not so shocking reveal at the end.

This was an interesting and engaging mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. There were some typographical errors in it, especially involving given names. I highly recommend this book to other mystery and police procedural readers.

The Woods of St. Francis Mystery is a British mystery which often includes Earl Gray tea! The police include the usual British officials and very unusual personalities especially of the suspects! The Artists Group is in the center of the story, and it provides many different angles for the mystery! Throughout the story we learn a good amount of how these co-ops are organized and how they work!! A good British mystery that is very enjoyable and a good one for a newbie to British mysteries!
