Absolutely love The Summer Island sisters! I was so drawn into the first book in this series and it was the same for this one. I love these friends and how loyal they are to one another. Trace puts down her guard and find that she can find real love and has a real family in her friends who support her so much.

Friendship Beach has another adorable romance as Trace finds herself as she falls in love with Dustin, Trevor’s best friend from Summer Island Book Club (first in the series). Summer Island Sisters brings the quartet and one daughter together in Summer Island again, one of our favorite small towns. The quartet being Jewels, Trace, Wind and Kat. In addition, Jewel’s daughter Bri is an honorary member of the former high school besties who has come back together. Bri is writing a book about middle age friends and their lives. It is mentioned briefly in this book. I am looking forward to Bri’s romance when it comes!

Back to Trace, she has guilt feelings over several issues, upper most are not being there for her Dad when he died and over the death of a close friend and intern, Matt. The loss of her Dad leads her to try to understand why he did not let her know the depth of his health issues before he passed. She wants to restore her childhood home. It does not help that Dustin is trying to tear down said home as he develops a hotel next door. Trace really needs time and space to reflect on all that has happened and all that has gone wrong with her life up to this point. Too much is blocking her way.

Due to legal issues and a gag order, she cannot even talk about Matt’s death to her friends. Normally they could help her think life through and find the peace she seeks, but cannot. Eventually, she begins to trust Dustin and shares with him. Considering they started out as almost sworn enemies, it took a lot for her to trust him. He is one of the wealthy types she does not trust.

So, sit back on the beach, or in a hammock, and enjoy Ciara Knight’s second installment in the Friendship Beach series of Summer Island. Life there is so true to small communities with every one knowing your business, with a bit of drama and, also, caring for neighbors added in for fun.

I really enjoyed this small town tale with a difference. I loved the relationship between the friendsters, more than friends - they have each other’s back just like sisters. Trace and Dustin’s, enemies to partners story and the little man standing up to and winning over the big corporate, is a great read. Looking forward to reading the other four friends stories.

Trace and Dustin met last year and the attraction was there, until Dustin made a deal with a mean neighbor and promised to tear down Trace's house. Trace has a much bigger secret that she can't revil to her sisters for many reasons but for some reason she decided to tell 1 person and what happens after that is explosive. This series is awesome to read

This is a well written book that hooks you on the first page. It was a fast read that keeps you turning the pages. If you are looking for clean book that has beautiful scenery, wonderful characters, and makes you feel like you are there, grab this book. I received a complimentary copy from Author Collective 20 via NetGalley and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

This is the second book in the Friendship Beach series, but could easily be a standalone read.

Trace has just moved home after 25 years of fighting corporations to stop polluting the ocean....only to find newcomer, Dustin, is set to demolish her childhood home to add on to his hotel. Now she has to fight him and the town to save it. Along the way, she is dealing with her father's death, her horrible neighbor Rhonda's antics and guilt she feels after a co-worker was killed on her last mission.

There is a lot going on in this story - but it flows smoothly and is an easy read. The characters are so much fun to get to know better, I enjoyed the first book as well.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary, digital ARC in return for my review.

Using the recipe at the back for raspberry iced tea, make yourself a tall glass and allow yourself to be swept away to Summer Island, where new beginnings and happy endings are guaranteed!

Join four long-time friends as they meet up on Summer Island and get caught up to date on each other’s life. Nobody knows you like a good friend, right? It’s no different here. Trace can’t hide her secrets from her friends for long. She’s not too long back ‘home’ before she’s aware that her childhood home she’s inherited is slated for demolition. Tired and weary, she faces the biggest fight of her life. As fate would have it, Dustin Hawk is standing in the way of her dream. Can she bulldoze him or will the wrecking ball be headed her way?

This is the perfect beach read! I loved the authentic characters, the realistic challenges and the dreamy antagonist. I was engaged and entertained. I wanted to grab my iced tea and head down to Friendship Beach to hang with my bookish friends.

This is book 2 of the Summer Island Book Club series, but it can stand alone.

This clean and sweet, contemporary romance is a great choice if you’re looking for a quick, easy beach read.

I was gifted this advance copy by Ciara Knight, Author Collective 20, and NetGalley and was under no obligation to provide a review.

I think this was a new twist on a beach read. It had all the usual components, a beach house, close friends, relationship issues but it also took into account a different look at current issues, loyalty to home and more. I enjoyed it!

This is the second instalment of the Summer Island Book Club series, but can easily be read as a stand alone. A very quick read which I completed in about 4 hrs.

This time Trace is fighting to save her fathers home from demolition by Dustin, while Dustin is trying to gain permission to renovate the old hotel opposed by Trace. Will they ever figure things out?

A great story which had .y attention from the beginning. A highly recommended quick read for the beach.
