A moose wants to be a fairy, but everyone says he is TOO BIG and he just doesn't fit in. The theme of this book is accepting others and also doing what makes you happy. The illustrations are bright and funny.

Note: I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley. I was not compensated in any other fashion for the review and the opinions reflected below are entirely my own. Special thanks to the publisher and author for providing the copy.

This is the sweetest, most colorful children's book that we have since purchased a hard copy of. Thank you Netgalley for the advanced preview.

Have you ever seen a Moose as a fairy? From his size, it doesn't fit, That small cute fairies you have in mind, is not big and has antlers. So a moose as a fairy is a big no no.

But from this book, I learn that nothing is impossible. Being big is not always bad, and each has their own power.

This book was a delightful read. The story us unique and well told. The illustrations are beautiful and bright. My daughter was enthralled with this story from the very first page and asked for it to be read to her over and over. She loved watching the moose attempt to become a fairy and was delighted with the ending!

The publisher made a copy of this book available for review via Netgalley. This is my honest opinion.

Moose wants to join the fairy club. He passes the test, but it seems he literally doesnt fit into the clubhouse. It's such a great metaphor for people who feel like outsiders. This is a cute story with an awesome message. I loved the illustrations and animals as well.

Not gonna lie, I judged a book by it's cover to grab this book. What can I say, a Moose Fairy is just way to interesting to pass up! Plus the squirrel, bunny and skunk on the cover make it stand out a lot.

This fun tale brings an adorable story to life. It makes magical times feel real and exciting, even if it's just a fictional story. There's a fairy club and our moose friend wants to join! It sounds perfect for Moose! The twirling, the singing and the glitter all sound so exciting, especially for Mr. Moose! The only problem... he doesn't fit through the tiny hole to the clubhouse! But when he comes to the rescue of his new friends, there might just be hope!

This book is so sweet and so cute. It brought so much happiness to my heart. I highly recommend it! A tale of friendship and fitting in, so great!

Five out of five stars!

A fun premise here paired with great illustrations. We get plenty of details in the images and the exaggerated expressions allow young readers to grasp the emotions.

Much thanks to Quarto Publishing and NetGalley for providing me with a free copy of this book in return for my honest review.
I love this book! It is fun, funny, educational and the illustrations are super. This book is all about acceptance and fitting in and we have a moose who has always wanted to be a fairy and finds a notice of a fairy meeting. He sorts through his outfits and settles on a silly look that fits his character! He goes to the meeting and eventually passes the class and becomes a full-fledged fairy. However the other new members say he is too big to be a fairy and he sadly leaves, only to eventually return to save the day and be told that he is the best fairy of them all.
This book is about being who you want to be, striving and achieving that goal and then being the best you can be. Super book for parents to read to their kids and and illustrations just add to the enjoyment. This book was totally fun for me, and if it can charm a 67-year old man then I am sure kids will love it..

I love the silly image of a moose as a fairy, as well as the underlying messages of acceptance. Not only does the story show why we shouldn't reject others or make them feel uncomfortable, it also illustrates how spaces can exclude our friends in ways we might not have considered.

The book's formatting and typography are particularly engaging and the illustrations are beautifully colorful. This is a book that will capture young children's imagination and make them think in an age-appropriate way about inclusion and kindness.

Moose desperately wants to join the Secret Fairy Club, and so do I. (They had me at Free fairy cakes!) He passes all the tests with rainbow colors, but there's a big problem . . . Moose. Turns out, he's too big to fit through the door of the clubhouse. Will this be the end of Moose's fairy dreams, or will he find a way to fit in?

A very sweet and glittery story, with terrific pictures by the author.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for making this one free upon request. It's adorable.

The Moose Fairy is a sweet story about a Moose that wants to join a secret fairy club and fit in all all the small critters. It hits the themes of inclusiveness, manipulation and looking out for one another. Some great lessons for kids tied up in a cute narrative.

My granddaughter wants to be a fairy, so she really wanted me to read her this book. It was cute and met her expectations. Of course she thought the other animals were mean telling moose he couldn't be a fairy, but was happy that he got his wish eventually. She loved his costume and how hard he tried to follow the fairy pledge. She was worried, happy, angry and sad at different times in this book, which to me means it was a story that made her feel something. The illustrations were wonderful showing action and emotion. A definite winner for us. This would be a great story for pre-school and primary classrooms about being kind to others and how to be a friend. One I know we will read again.

My daughters loved this book, as they adore fairies and all things pink! The story and pictures were delightful and the message very strong and import for little ones to learn. My girls have this book on repeat at bedtime lately and I'm considering buying them a copy to keep. Totally recommended!

The Moose Fairy is a delightful book with wonderful illustrations about a moose who wants to join a secret fairy club. He finds the perfect outfit and is accepted into the club, but he's too large to actually enter their clubhouse! He feels dejected, but ends up helping save his new fairy friends and is fully embrace by them. The plot definitely reminded me of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. It's an adorable book about being yourself, but I don't think anyone should have to prove themselves in order to be valued. I think children will really enjoy the beautiful illustrations and sometimes silly story.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing this ARC.

4.5 Stars

Have you heard of a moose fairy? If not, this book is a lovely way to find out more about the secret fairy club and a moose who is also a fairy. The book is about a moose who joins the secret fairy club with tiny animals as members.
The moose passes the fairy tests, but a mouse is rude to him and says he doesn’t fit in with them. However, when the moose saves the mice and squirrels from the fox, they understand that he is the best of them all. The illustrations are lively and beautiful.
The message about fitting in and belonging is put across so the young readers/ listeners will understand. The book will be perfect for bedtime reading as well as in schools.
Thank you, NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group, for the ARC.

Moose is excited as he joins The Secret Fairy Club. He chooses his costume carefully from his dress-up box and feels fabulous and confident. Upon his arrival Moose quickly discovers that everyone in attendance is ... small! Undaunted he presses forward and successfully completes all the tests presented that qualify him to become a bona fide member. The others around him tell him that he doesn't fit in, rude comments, that deflate Moose's morale and makes him feel very sad and an outcast indeed.

How can a HUGE moose convince his small Fairy peers that he is worthy of being one of them and bring value to their club? A nasty hungry Fox enters the story and everyone at the Fairy Club changes their minds about moose when he saves the day and becomes their superhero.

The illustrations are magnificent! They are colourful, expressive, funny, and enrich the text perfectly. The message of the book is positive and encourages kindness, acceptance and friendships. The book's author has included discussion points that will be beneficial to parents and teachers to help build a deeper understanding of the story and the morals behind it. I highly, highly recommend this book.
