This is a quick read about a widow who lives in the Hamptons. Set in 2008, Diana rents rooms in her large historic home. The story is about the interaction between her and the tenets. I found the story a little bland. The premise is a good one but wasn't explored very well. I thinks 3 or 4 more chapters would have helped the story, it ended abruptly. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest read.

Not my cup of tea but thank you so much for the opportunity to read it.

I love reading about the Hamptons and was very excited about this book, which I chose as one of my vacation reads (on the Cape, not the Hamptons). Eileen Obser is a master in describing the Hamptons and the feel of the place and I. really enjoyed that part of the book. Overall I enjoyed the read, but it felt cut off in the middle when parts of the plot have not been gone into more detail. I would have loved to read more.

This book was sent to me by Netgalley on Kindle for review…the protagonist is a new widow who rents out rooms on her home…She is likeable in that she tries to get along with her tenants, her friends, and her love interests…the book intrigued me as I wanted to see how it ended, and it did…quite abruptly…there didn’t seem to be closure, so maybe there is a part two…

Very politically slanted - I couldn’t get past page 35. Not really of fiction read - also bad language and just seemed overall dry.

I was disappointed in this novel. The concept sounded appealing, a widow who rents rooms in her house in the Hamptons. The writing felt a little choppy to me, and I felt the story ended too abruptly. I would have been more invested if there was more depth to the characters. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

This book was provided to me via Kindle by Sunbury Press, Inc, Brown Posey Press and #NetGalley for my honest opinion.

A comforting little read about a widow navigating life, finding love after loss.

A thoroughly enjoyable read about a woman longing to find romance and the perfect boarder over Labor Day Weekend in the Hamptons.

while i am sure this book will appeal to a certain audience, it surely didn't appeal to me. She was a bit too wishy washy but surprisingly trusting for me.

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Diana who lost her husband last year is at a cross roads in her life after her husband passed away last year. She owns a home were she rents out some of the bedrooms. This book was ok but tended to drag in a few places.

This book wasn't badly written, but it was lacking in a plot.

This is a rather quirky little novel, with no real plot. It just meanders through various situations with different tenants that landlady Diana is experiencing or has in the past. Diana is longing for love again and meeting Tom at a native gathering and quickly and mentally mapping out a future with him, seems a little contrived.

I received an advance copy of, Three Rooms, Shared Bath, by Eileen Obser. I do not know why books have to political, the book started off ok, then it went off track and I could not finish it.

In Three Rooms, Shared Bath, we follow a widow who decides to rent out three bedrooms in her house on Long Island. During these years, she met a lot of unique tenants. We learn about them, their backgrounds, their personalities, their lives...

Eileen Obser describes what it's like meeting all those people and living in an ever evolving world while wondering what to do; continue of make changes? When love shows up, making a choice is always harder than it looks.

This book was a fun read, a solid story to discover and a lovely tale about how real estate can change your life.
