Since I originally requested this book, I have come to the conclusion that it's problematic for white authors to write books on this topic so I will not be reviewing it or promoting it on my page.

This was archived before I could read and review due to a severe concussion. Thank you for the opportunity to read!

While I have not read Kelly McDonald's previous titles, after "It's Time to Talk About Race at Work" I plan to read the others. McDonald minces no words with why these conversations need to happen, but she takes it further by giving actionable items to follow up with each area and scenario for having the conversations. This for me took this discussion a step further because it's great to emphasize all the reasons why but the harder part comes with the 'how.' I initially didn't realize that it was not read by the author because Caroyn Jania's reading flows like most titles that are actually read by the author. I highly recommend this for anyone, but especially for management level and human resource professionals. The time is now, and McDonald gives you the steps for how to elevate your work place and profit by embracing the people who are different than us.

Thank you to the author and to NetGalley for providing me with an audio Arc for an honest review!

I may not be the exact target audience for this read , however I have just recently finished College and I am starting to look for work and believe this read is perfect for people just starting in the workforce. This read gave an insight into what should be considered and talked about when it comes to Race within the workforce.
