Thank you to net galley for the arc. I really enjoyed this book. It was a sequel however you did not have to read the first one to get into the second. Although, the first one is wonderful as well. This is a very endearing book about love, healing, and family. It doesn’t focus on just the romance aspect. I loved all the characters.I really liked how sweet it was.If anything I wish that the book would have gone on a little bit longer. All opinions on my own.

This is the perfect contemporary romance! Everything from story line to characters had me hooked! From Miami to Lake Erie it took me on a wild ride that left my romance cup feeling full!

I would recommend this read for a lot of different reasons. I love how Doller develops her characters into real people with very relatable emotions. First with Float Plan and now with the suite spot. While this book didn’t give me as much adventure and bring as much laughter as her first it still touched the heart and was a romantic read that I would recommend.

When this book came in I dropped everything to read it!! I could not put it down and finished in two quick sittings.

This is the sequel to Float Plan, which is one of my favorite books of this year. Anna and Keane do make some appearances in this book but it is not necessary to read that one first - although, I think you should because it's so wonderful!

I adored these characters - they were so charming and relatable. I loved being a part of Rachel's journey, the bar/hotel design and development, and seeing more of Rachel's relationships with her mom, sister, and her friends. I loved seeing Rachel and Mason's progression and the sweet thoughtful things they did for each other. The story is authentic, timeline seems realistic, and I loved the setting (getaway/brewery in cabins)

This book was SO WONDERFUL! I loved reading it so much. We follow our main character as she moves with her young daughter to a hotel to be the manager. She falls in love with her gruff but loveable boss and it is just the cutest book. I felt all the feelings while reading this book and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves a great romance!

What a lovely book! I enjoyed The Suite Spot so much and didn't want it to end! This was a fun, sweet, easy read that put a huge smile on my face. I really enjoyed Rachel's journey and the amazing descriptions of Kelleys Island. The hospitality portion of the book was also really fun to read!

While the romance portion was sweet and endearing, it felt a little like something was missing. Maybe that we were told that how Rachel and Mason were feeling about each other, but that we didn't really see it or feel it as organically as I might have liked. I felt like Mason was suddenly "ok" with moving forward, but I didn't really feel how he got there.

I also had a bit of an issue with the "conflict" at the end. It felt SO avoidable, and the resolution felt really rushed. Regardless, this was a charming read and Trish Doller has quickly become an auto-buy author for me!

This was exactly what I was hoping it would be: a quick, cute, romance. The plot doesn't drag, the characters are INCREDIBLY charming and likable, and the characters are pretty well-developed despite how short this book is. My only complaint is that sometimes the dialogue feels a bit choppy, but it's only noticeable because the majority of the dialogue is SO well done and so realistic

The Suite Spot is a contemporary romance|women’s fiction title.
Just one glance at this one I new it should be a great read for me being someone that loves a good romance story I just had to pick it up.
Trish's writing is fluid, natural, confident, and incredibly relatable.
I felt so easily drawn in, and Rachel's character I absolutely adored!
I loved how this book grabs you by the heart and never lets go.
This book was really so endearing and I was captivated not only by the plot but by the writing itself.
The dialogue felt so real and I loved the vivid descriptions.
The characters were so easy to connect to!
They came across as authentic and the slow-burn romance between the too was very well done.

I am so very glad I read this book, and so very thankful to have been given an ARC.

Rachel Beck is on her way to the top working for an upscale hotel to support her and her daughter until she reports a hotel guest for unwanted physical advances and is fired from her position. When she is blacklisted from many of the local hotels, she accepts a management position at a brewery resort on Kelleys Island in Lake Erie.

When she and her daughter uproot their lives from Florida and move to Ohio, instead of finding a finished resort weeks from its grand opening they discover the resort is still under construction. Mason, the brewery resort owner, is a brooding divorcee is more focused on the beer than the accommodations and needs someone to step in and bring his dream of opening a brewery resort to life.

I loved the dynamic between Rachel and Mason, and the attraction between them was palpable from the beginning. Their slow burn romance felt realistic given how much was at stake. As a single mom, Rachel doesn't want to jump into a new relationship, and both Mason and Rachel don't want to cross the line between being professional colleagues and personally involved.

Rachel's book club on Kelleys Island was a delight. I loved the moments of levity that these ladies brought, and I receive some inspiration for my own book club gatherings!

For those who read Float Plan, you will recognize Rachel's sister Anna. It was fun to revisit Anna and Keane in a few chapters of this book, and I was nostalgic for their sailing adventure.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this book. And I’m not sure about my feelings. Did I love this book? I wasn’t obsessed with it, but I did love it in a way.

This book was so realistic in my opinion, and I think that’s part of why I loved it. The way the characters talked, acted, their struggles… it was real.

Now I did think it would be more romance focused, and that’s not true. It was more about Mason and Rachel healing and finding a way to heal together and learn that love is a possibility for them both.

I wish there was a little more romance and less fade to black, but overall I enjoyed the book.

Loved this charming cast of characters, the sweet location, and Rachel's story. This was just the perfect way to spend a fall Saturday with a cold beer (or 2) I enjoyed Rachel's journey to her little island home with new friends, new hope, and new love in store. ❤

Absolutely loved the beginning of each chapter with a word, definition, and country. My favorite: "Merak. Serbian. The pursuit of small pleasures everyday which all adds up to a feeling of contentment, fulfillment, and oneness with the larger purpose and universe."

It’s hard to pick what I liked best about this romance novel: the setting (an idyllic getaway brewery/cabins), the characters (mature and sensible and loving), or the plot twist (not what I expected!) This book doesn’t shy away from some tough topics, including sexual assault in the workplace and grief over the past death of a child. If you are ok with reading about sad situations that have a happy ending, I think The Suite Spot will be a great pick — perfect summer read, or read it anytime of year to escape to vacationland!

In her acknowledgments the author says she wanted to write a warm and gentle book and she delivered, this book follows Rachel from her job at a posh hotel in south Florida to start anew as a manager for a Brewery boutique hotel in a remote island in Ohio and the people and relationships she makes along the way. It is really a low drama book, it’s more about her finding her way and following in love with Mason and them building a hotel and a family.
Such a comforting book.

This was a warm and cozy read. There were so many things that made it special. Mostly set on an island in Lake Erie, I felt like I was a part of this small town community. The slow burn romance was sweet and gave me all the feels. I truly loved the characters and didn't want this book to end.

Rachel's had a tough go as of late. She's basically a single mom with her daughter's dad being a complete flake. After losing her job at a hotel, she leaves Florida with her daughter and takes a management job at a brewery hotel in Ohio. When she gets there, she discovers that her grumpy boss never told her how the hotel isn't even close to being done. So Rachel helps to design and decorate, which is a dream come true for her.

Slowly Mason was able to open up to Rachel and it was sad to hear his story. But the more time he spent with Rachel and Maisie, the more they felt like a family. There were some very sweet scenes between Mason and Maisie that warmed my heart.

The author's writing was beautifully descriptive during the restoration of the hotel. The progression from manager/employee to friends to lovers was perfectly paced. Both Mason and Rachel had issues they dealt with but they were so patient and supportive of each other. The effect these two had on one another was something I loved so much. Seeing Mason happy again and Rachel pursuing her dreams, it felt like they were meant to be together. All three of them, tucked away at that hotel brewery.

This book touched on so many important issues including grief, body image issues, and unprovoked sexual advances. I thought the author balanced them all perfectly with the romance.

The Suite Spot was a wonderful, low drama romance. Rachel was reflective of many women today, honest, hard working, always putting her daughter Maisie's needs first. She just needed the right opportunity (and a little push from her loving sister) to toss her out of her comfort zone into the perfect job. Unfortunately, nothing is quite what she expects when she packs her four year old up and drives from south Florida to Lake Erie's Kelleys Island. But the unexpected also gives her a chance to grow her career, to make friends in the small town, and even to fall in love. Mason is a hero that we can root for. There's a bit of sunshine/grump dynamic between the two, but they are wonderfully developed as a couple and I enjoyed watching the relationship evolve between them.
The Suite Spot is a well written romance with some steam, lots of pining, a vacation worthy setting, and just a little drama that is caused from outside the couple's relationship. Similar to Doller's "Float Plan" - the descriptions of the setting make you want to book a trip (if only The Limestone was real!)

I just found out this is the second book in the series. It's totally possible to read it as a standalone but I'm going to read the first book as soon as I can.

I think we can all agree that the last two years have been a bit of a dumpster fire, and Trish Doller somehow managed to create such a sweet and comforting book during that time. Rachel and Mason's story is soft and gentle like a spring shower. Their friends are vibrant and help them both learn to live a little bit louder. I fell in love with the characters and the setting. It made me want to rent a cabin, and go shopping in a small town. It made me crave the quiet life. In short, The Suite Spot was a balm to my anxiety ridden soul.

Gah I’m really starting to love Trish Doller. Books. I adored Float Plan and was so happy Rachel was getting her own book.
I love how romantic her books are but steeped in real life problems and trauma and she handles them so well.
I didn’t love this one as much as Float Plan but it was beautiful.
