The characters were well-developed, and I found myself invested in their lives. The plot was well thought out and had enough twists and turns to keep me on the edge of my seat. I appreciated the attention to detail, and the author did a great job of creating a vivid world that was easy to picture in my mind.
The themes explored in the book were thought-provoking. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good story with well-developed characters.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with this book and would definitely read it again. It was a great addition to my reading collection, and I can't wait to see what else this author has in store.

The search for a lost Incan treasure looted from a wrecked Spanish galleon in 1589, the  fabled Fountain of Youth and the legend of Blackbeard make up the premise of this modern day treasure hunt. It did take me a while to really get into the story as the initial chapters had a lot of different characters being introduced and different POVs and storylines being established which was a bit confusing but the story definitely picked up from mid point when all the different POVs began merging together and the search for the lost treasure began. The twist concerning Blackbeard's life and the diaries entries and letters containing the clues to the treasure and the identity of Blackbeard were some of the interesting bits to read. With at least three different sets of people searching for the same treasure, the story could have used a lot more action packed sequences.

I received an e-Arc of the book from the publisher Canoe Tree Press and the author via NetGalley.

I enjoyed this unique take on a journey to find Pirate Treasure. The story was a little difficult to follow in the beginning as there were multiple storylines/points of view to establish. But it was really interesting to watch them all converge and the pace of the story escalate. I’d love to see a continuing journey for Kevin and Rudy.
