The book "Live Well Bake Cookies" by Danielle Eye contains 75 recipes. Among them are classics, such as the chocolate chip cookie to healthy oatmeal cookies. Danielle Rye is known for her own baking blog and shares all sorts of delicious cookie baking recipes in this collection.

Opinion:
A baking book with some very tasty ideas. A separate section with cookies of the season such as Christmas are also included. There are many helpful tips and tricks and the photos really make you want to bake. What I did not like so much is the graphic layout between the different chapters. These are hardly readable by the background. I find that really a pity, because I could not read the content so.

Conclusion:
A great recipe book for cookies with a not quite optimal graphic preparation, which affects the readability. Therefore also only 4 of 5 stars.

A really great recipe book. Every type of cookie you could want to bake (and some you just didn’t know you needed till now)

A really great book to be dipping back into when needed.

*received for free from netgalley for honest review* good recipe book for classic cookies for sure! Wouldn't mind having this in my kitchen!

I love cookie books and this one was nice because it had great pictures. That is essential for a great cookbook to me. I need to visualize what I will be making. Another benefit was the cookies were in groups: chocolate chip, oatmeal, specialty. Then if you wanted to make a specific type of cookie it was easy to select within that group and try a variety.

The one drawback I have is that many of the recipes are similar to ones I’ve seen before. I wish there were a few more new and unique recipes to try.

In all though, a beautiful cookie book. Delicious! Makes me hungry just thinking about those warm, soft delicious mouthfuls of joy.

Thank you NetGalley, Daniel Rye, and Quatro Publishing for giving an ARC. I am sure I will enjoy many delicious treats.

A very pretty cookbook with lots of yummy cookie recipes. I really like how this cookbook was categorized. I can't wait to try a few of these recipes.
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review~

This book has every cookie recipe that you would ever need. All the recipes are easy to follow and the pictures are mouthwatering. I expect this will be my go to cookbook next time I have cookie cravings.

I was very impressed with the organization of this cookbook. For example, there would be one section on oatmeal based cookies (for the whole grain-minded), another section for peanut butter cookies, a section for chocolate themed treats, and the final section was dedicated to "fun" cookies.

Here are just a few of the many recipes that caught my interest:
Carrot Cake Oatmeal Cookies
Lemon Blueberry Oatmeal Cookies
Peanut Butter Shortbread
Chocolate Nutella Cookies
Flourless Chocolate Cookies
Strawberry Shortcake Cookies

The pictures accompanying the recipes got me so hungry at one point that I had to raid my stale box of chocolate chip cookies for relief from my cravings. (A poor substitute, but it was too late in the evening to start a batch of these delicious-sounding treats.)

The step by step recipes and easy ingredients should make whipping up a batch of these cookies a breeze. And, of course, after all that hard work, you have to reward yourself and indulge in at least one cookie - or a few! This treasury of cookie recipes is a keeper!

My thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for an ARC of this cookbook in exchange for an honest review.

It's all about the cookie.

An easy to use cookie cookbook. I particularly enjoyed the peanut butter section, with some inventive and versatile recipes. There was a whole oatmeal section that wasn't my jam, but it does fit in nicely with the Live Well philosophy.
Recommend.

Live Well Bake Cookies (75 Classic Cookie Recipes for Every Occasion) by Danielle Rye is the new must-have recipe book for cookie bakers. The attention to detail really sold me on this cookbook. This book actually provides instructions on how to test your baking soda or baking powder before using, whereas most will only say to ensure that your leavening agent is fresh. It also explained how to remove the excess moisture from pumpkin purée. Who knew that this was even possible? Danielle Rye - that’s who and she’s willing to share this and a dozen other tips about things that you never knew were possible.

Of course, the cookie recipes are the star of this book and there are so many recipes that I want to bake. At the top of my list is the Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake, followed closely by the Sour Cream Cookies and the Gingerdoodles. But that is just the start of what will likely be a long love affair with this recipe book. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy and all opinions are my own.)

This is your go-to cookie book! It has literally ALL your family's favs, plus some new takes on oldies from Grandma's recipe box, that will make you say WOW! I REALLY love that there are quite a few SMALL batch recipes, for when you want something JUST for today, and aren't feeding a crowd!
With 75 cookies, you can easily bake a batch a week, for over a year! I can already see gifting this book, with a basket of ingredients or accessories to make the cookies, for the upcoming holiday season! Because the recipes cover a bread spectrum, there are recipes here for everyone! Don't miss this one!

This is a beautifully designed book filled with recipes that I really want to try. It’s peppered with “pro tips”, which I’m sure will be helpful. I love that the measurements are in both cups/tablespoons and metric, so that whichever system you’re using, you don’t have to lose time converting it (which often doesn’t quite work out). I’m most looking forward to trying the iced maple cinnamon and chocolate Nutella cookies, but those are just 2 of a very long list!

This book was just what I needed. So many great cookie recipes and I couldn’t wait to try them and got started straight away. I particularly loved that the recipes also had ‘gram’ equivalent and not just ‘cup’ as I’m UK based and only use grams.

I loved the layout and how the cookies were defined by sections. There is also a good amount of them that doesn’t require chill time that I particularly like.

The tips were very helpful, I learned a few new things.

The photos made my mouth water.

My first attempt was what I call a basic chocolate chip cookie. These were delicious and the recipe was easy to follow. My son helped me make these and we loved how easy to make they were.

I look forward to trying the Christmas cookies in a few months!

I'm someone that loves to bake and cookies have always been a personal favorite, so I was very excited to get my hands on this book. To start, this book is sleek and beautiful. I loved that each recipe has a photo (Yes, I know it's just cookies but I'm a big fan of knowing what something is supposed to look like)! Seventy-five recipes are included and I felt the range is excellent. From the everyday to the for a more special occasion, this book has you covered. Plus, this book includes a small-batch section which is quite rare. Added to this is some helpful information and some clever tips that cover the ingredients and equipment to packaging and storing your cookies. I feel that this is a great cookbook that should hold a lot of appeal for just about anyone. I've made the double chocolate M & M cookies and I thought they were delicious! I'm eager to test more recipes ASAP.

The tip section of this book is worth the price. Seriously. I’ve been making cookies for a LONG long time and how did I never know my cookies browned so much because of my dark cookie sheet? My kids and I plan on making a bunch of these recipes this weekend. Such a great book for the family and every occasion. And the pictures are gorgeous!!! Every recipe comes with the weight of ingredients as well so if you prefer to weigh out you are good to go.

Okay… I love cookies SO much. The variety do oatmeal cookies in this book is OUTSTANDING. Not to mention all the tips and tricks included on how to make the perfect cookie. No more spending a bunch of money at bakeries and now being able to make quality cookies is amazing!

I love a good cookbook, and this is a good cookbook! I love baking, and my favourite things to bake (and eat) are cookies! So to have a whole cookbook dedicated to them is brilliant. This is packed with delicious, easy to follow recipes. I love that there are photos of every single bake, so you know just what you're aiming for. There are also photographs during the process - not sure what brown butter should look like? The book shows you! It can be frustrating when you buy a cookbook and realise that you're realistically only going to bake a third of the contents, but with this collection, I was drooling on every page! I'd definitely recommend to any baking enthusiast. It's simple and clear enough for any beginner baker, but also has new and original recipes for the more experienced. Fabulous book!
Thank you to Quarto Publishing Group and Netgalley for an eARC of this book to read and review.

Moderation! Delicious recipes are ahead!
I have to say moderation is key, there are so many good recipes to choose from and you will want to keep on trying them. But again I say moderation there is time to enjoy all of this food and I will keep getting in trouble for trying to sneak cookies myself...
