The first installment of the audiobook of "Damnation Spring" had me riveted. Exploring this landscape of this Northern California of this line of work is not something I've really been exposed to, and I'm from California! The Redwoods are beasts, and to think of this kind of work as well as the culmination of the impact of particular pesticides is very interesting! Hearing the different points from three characters, including a small child, is really interesting. I'm very much looking forward to what transpires as we head to the end of the novel.

I listened to part one today and I’m obsessed. I’ve read over a hundred books so far this year and this is already coming in at the top of my 2021 reading. I’m looking forward to seeing where this story goes, but five stars so far!
