I love every single thing this author writes and I have had the privilege of being a beta reader for her previous series (Pure/Dark Ones) which I HIGHLY recommend to any PNR/Fantasy readers who love an intricate unfolding of a tale with steamy goodness galore.

This book is somewhat of a spin-off from the first series, but it does open new doors and introduces a whole new cast of characters to love (& lust after!)! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I sadly forgot to review it right away!
I'm definitely going to be looking for more of Aja's books though. I adored the writing style and the characters. The smut was great, the plot kept me hanging and I can't wait to keep going!

Ere and Scoring are going on another quest for The Jade Emperor to find the Song of Destiny. Their quest partner is Divina with her faithful companion Chewie. The quest should be simple right? But never is for Ere. How can they find the Song of Destiny? What must they do? Find out in Song of Dragons.

Dragons in the title had me. This is a brilliant book it has a sexy aplha malé as the lead who can talk the talk but hasn't lost his v card. What more can I say this book has the amazing mythical creatures of dragons its well paaced even if fast at times. The witty banter between the characters made me laugh out loud. Additionally having the aspect of Greek mythology deepens this book. A must read.

This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was clever, fun, (sexy!), and so fast-paced I didn't want to put it down. This book can be read as a standalone story, though it is the book 2 in the Dragon Tails series. Each book is a complete story/romance but I believe that to best enjoy this story you should previously have read book #1 where the over-arching quest is outlined in more detail. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books in this series as well as others by this author

I have been a big fan of this author for a while, and love seeing each and every one of their new works. The characters always have a habit of leaping off of the page, lifelike and enjoyable and the plot is always one that draws me in from the beginning. I love reading fantasy style stories like this, with a focus on some paranormal elements and this book 100% fit the bill. It is book 2 in a series so certainly check out book 1 as well. I loved this book and certainly recommend it to those who enjoy books like me. I can't wait to see what comes next!

**RECEIVED AS AN ARC FROM NETGALLEY**

This is the second book in this series. We are with Ere and Sorin as they go through this journey. A gorgeous centaur by the name of Andros is involved in this one. You won't be able to put it down after reading the opening paragraph. I will continue with this series and I cannot wait to see where it goes.

I honestly don't know where to begin.

I've been telling everyone since the beginning that this writer is a genius. From the characters, the plot, the intermingling of worlds, the mythology, the history, the intricate details that make the big picture... I CANNOT GET ENOUGH!!

It all happens in ancient Greece, during a time when myth and legend were real and fundamental. I had so much fun with the rich world the author created and found myself desperate not to finish this story.

First of all, there's more Ere and Sorin. Anyone who is anyone has gotta love these guys. Ere is always a guaranteed hoot, no exception. And Sorin, with his stoicism and silent support, is always perfection. Together, these men make my day each and every time!

Then we get the task, which is hilarious when I know I should be taking things seriously. From the vagueness of the mission to the elusive hourglass, I'm over here giggling my tail off.

At first, I didn't think I'd like Divina, which would suck because she'd be the first heroine I couldn't stand. She came off very superficial and flighty and it was an ordeal to try to take her seriously. However, I quickly learned there was so much more brewing beneath her surface. As a celestial dragon, she never really had to feel or suffer or long for anything. Then she meets Andros and her whole world, shoot everything she believed in, came crashing down. And who could really blame her? Andros was everything!!!!!

Speaking of Andros... this male had so much going for him. Gorgeous looks, long beautiful hair, luminous purple eyes... and HE WAS A FREAKING CENTAUR!! I wasn't sure how these two were gonna get busy, but the author solved that dilemma right quick and it was so effing hot. I mean 'oh lawd my virgin eyes' kinda hot. Yes, these two had me feeling like a born-again blushing virgin for all that they had going on and I loved it!! What won me over from the start though was his heart. He was such a kind, thoughtful, sweet soul who only wanted someone to call his own. For someone to know him. To love him as he would love them. He only wanted Divina.

Seriously, if you can't tell by all of my exclamation points, take my silly advice and start reading these books. If you love paranormal romance, mythology, the best heroes in the game, their equally to-die-for heroines, and stories that will keep you guessing, shrieking, sighing, fanning yourself, and definitely paying attention... GET TO READING!!

I am seriously loving this series! First off, dragons! Because, they are awesome. Then there's Ere and Sorin (no, I haven't gotten into the Pure/Dark Ones series yet. I know I absolutely must get on that stat but I have a huge backlog but it is on the list, I swear!) And then we get centaur shifters in this one and Wow! was it awesome.

Ere (and by proxy, Sorin) has been tasked, again, by the Jade Emperor to complete a task and this time their co-adventurer is Divinia. She is a very, to my mind, high-maintenance type, think Marilyn Monroe, and a feather dragon. Anywho, this time we travel back to ancient Greece. (And yes, we do get some yummy steamy bathhouse time with my fav couple- squee- it was hot!) We meet our hero, Andros, who is a centaur shifter and well, you should just read the book, I don't want to give too much away but the words hung like a stallion might have been in ode to him. Maybe, I don't really care if it's not true. He is just a hot, dirty-talking, alpha virgin and I love him for it.

Song of Dragons is the 2nd in the Dragon Tails series but it could be read as a stand-alone without too many glaring holes or missing pieces... but... I would probably start with Dream of Dragons. Also, this is an M/F romance storyline but also had an M/M couple in it and some detailed smexy times. I'm fairly certain most people are at least open-minded enough to read it or, like me, love the heck out of it and wish there was so much more. But... just a little notice there is you didn't know or weren't expecting it.

Divinia might have been too much for me. I'm just not a fan of high-maintenance types, but Andros absolutely made up for her drama. The connection between the two was pretty sizzling from the beginning and the smexy times were pretty darn hot. (But I still love Ere and Sorin more, I'm sorry, I can't help it)

I do hope we get possibly more interactions with Hades but that's just me, I love the Greek pantheon and love to read about that some more.

I'm just all in with this series and definitely recommend for my fellow paranormal lovers. And the ending is so sigh-worthy I can't even. I absolutely recommend.

Thanks to #NetGalley and author #AjaJames for providing me with an advanced copy of this book which releases tomorrow 24 December.

This is book 2 in the Dragon Tails series and it doesn’t disappoint! Reunited with Ere and Sorin and introduced to Divina the second quest takes them to Ancient Greece. We are also introduced to Divina’s love interest Andros who is a centaur.

I like how this series is progressing and still maintaining the air of mystery that leaves me unable to figure out what’s coming next. Divina I think can get on your nerves at times but I liked her and she reminded me of every female in my family being unable to pack light!

The story is definitely full of steam which is good if you like that and luckily I do. There is also a great plot and it has left me looking forward to the next in the series.

Author Aja James has cast her spell over the reader again in this second book of the Dragon Tails, Song of Dragons.
Ere has again been summoned to the Emperor’s Celestial Palace to be given his second quest, this time leading to Ancient Greece. With the love of his life Soren by his side and female Quetzalcoatl Dragon Divina assisting, what could go wrong?
“Find the horn, storm the mountain, retrieve the lyre, gather the fleece, bring back the song”.
These are the cryptic clues provided and with them the adventure begins.
The story is artfully written and populated with extraordinary characters interspersed with flashes of Ere’s dry humor as it slips through the pages with his inner musings. For Divina their quest soon becomes more than keeping the universal balance and one of an incredibly fierce, erotic relationship when she encounters Centaur Andros, soon revealing how her accompaniment on their quest is a very integral part of its success.
I really enjoyed this fast paced riveting adventure with its dramas, heart tugging moments and love.
Many emotions where woven within the stories sinuous strands, culminating a journey with an absolutely amazing surprise of an ending. Highly recommended!

A truly fun-filled, action-packed and super-steamy follow up to Dream of Dragons. Each book is a complete story/romance but I believe that to best enjoy this story you should previously have read book #1 where the over-arching quest is outlined in more detail.

I enjoyed this more than book #1, whether that was because I understood the world, and the occasionally irritating Ere, better or the story suited my tastes more I'm not sure. However, I quickly found myself caught up in the story and enamoured by Andros and Davinia. I loved that the hero and heroine were very different to the protagonists of the previous book whilst the "any place, any time" aspect of the series also allowed the setting to be unrelated. There is nothing cookie-cutter about these stories!

The characters were well written, detailed, complicated, flawed and so utterly likeable. The plot moved with a good pace, holding my interest, taking me on several side-trips and rarely predictable. This is becoming a wonderful series!

Song of dragon by Aja James.
Dragon Tails book 2.
Every lore of every clan, across time and space, dreamed of dragons. Did you ever wonder why?
Erebu and Sorin fought through countless lifetimes of trials and tribulations to find one another again. They even conquered death.
A lovely read. I enjoyed this book. Great story and characters. I loved the cover. That's what drew me to this book. 5*.

Ere and Sorin are sent on another quest this time with a fertility dragon named Divina, who loves love and all the fluffy fuzzy creatures in the worlds, and they are meant to find the Song of Destiny in ancient Greece.
I would recommend with this series reading the series this is spun off of first because I keep wanting more of Ere and Sorin but they are always side characters in this series, so I'm always a little disappointed by that fact. However I do always enjoys their interactions with whoever they happen to be traveling with in each book, and that their companions have been very different people so far.
We also get to meet Andros, who when we meet him is a horse who has forgotten that he is actually a centaur. The centaur angle was interesting but I found his character a bit flat once he figured out who he was.
There is a lot of steam in these stories, in this one almost more steam than story, which isn't necessarily a bad thing :)

I was not expecting half of what I got reading this book. That said, this was a pleasant journey and even though the focus of the plot points was indeed the romance and eroticism, it was an incredibly fast paced novel. Easy to get through even if you have not read the first one, and could hold interest.

Song of Dragons is the second book in the Dragon Tails series. After being summoned again, Shifu is sending Ere and Sorin along with Divina (a incredibly beautiful, voluptuously seductive, 5’3” Quetzalcoatl dragon) and her adorable dog Chewy, off on a quest for the Jade Emperor. Ere worries that these quest’s are more than a debt to be repaid and that someone is using them for a unknown purpose…but to do what? First there was the Jewel of Dreams, a dragon’s tear for her Mate, not at all what they had originally thought…what is really happening by these tasks being completed…what’s Aja (hack) I mean the JE really up to! 🤔
The story flows seamlessly as Ere, Sorin and Divina start exploring their surroundings, looking for clues. Divina’s expertise with sex and anything remotely related to sex really comes in handy in this quest full of surprises! I absolutely love her since of humor along with her big hearted nature and spirit! I also love the way she picks up strays and cares for them as her babies. However, that being said, it was times I really wanted to shake the crap outta her for hurting Andros! He happens to be the son of Apollo, and a demi-god centaur prince. Ohh and these two together….be still my heart… because Andros being a virgin and Divina a extremely experienced oversexed sex expert….well let’s just say the heat level is really wayyy up there ok!!! “Giddyap, pony!” OMG! HOT!!!
It’s just so much going on with this wonderful steamy hot storyline that you’ll just have to do like Divina and hold on for the ride! Song of Dragons has everything that I’ve come to expect from Aja James intriguing stories and as always it’s full of both good and bad creatures, extremely HOT heat levels and packed full of intense surprises! It’s a fun read and you never know what might pop up in this story…Hades and his three headed watchdog, a ugly scaly giant hissing serpent and some undead skeletal soldier’s just to name a few! Oh and talk about drama! When Divina, the colorful feathered high-maintenance seductress dragon runs ‘the fuck outta patience’!!! OMG!!! Talk about a meltdown!!! Yep, I just loved the heck outta this book!♥️
