Caryn and Levi start by fighting on opposite sides of the law but soon learn that will need to work together. This is an exciting and well-written book. I enjoyed the drama and the storyline very much. I recommend this book to anyone who likes stories about pets, the outdoors and fighting for what you consider important.

Caryn Orlane and Levi Bradshaw were destined to meet ... but with each other pointing a gun at the other?

Caryn is an officer of Bureau of Land Management. Levi is the leader of a group of eco-warriers determined to save the trees by mostly legal means. But there are those in his group that want to do more ... mostly illegally.

Caryn admits that she, too, wants nothing more than to protect the land, the trees, the wildlife, but as an officer of the government, she must fulfill her job duties.

It doesn't matter if she's attracted to Levi ... and that Levi returns that attraction. How do they manage a relationship when they are on opposite sides of the law?

When Levi's group members go rogue, people get hurt .. some even die. And when Levi walks away from the group, he .. and Caryn .. become personal targets.

As romantic suspense stories go, this is well written with a nice balance of the romance and suspense. The story line is intriguing with deftly drawn characters. There's a touch of humor as the main characters get to know each other. Action-packed, this is a page turner with a few twists and turns that lead to an unexpected conclusion.

Many thanks to the author / Wild Rose Press / Netgalley for the digital copy of this Romantic Suspense. Read and reviewed voluntarily, opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.
