This is not my usual kind of book, but I enjoyed it more than I expected. The nice thing about a collection is if you don't like one, then try the next one :)

I won't review each short story individually because they are presented as a whole collection. They are all quick glances at the lives of people who love each other, perhaps in unconventional ways. Christmas and New Year celebrations can be stressful and times of change, so how these couples, and in one case, a menage, deal with the holiday seasons is key to the collection. Some could have been expanded to longer stories but the point is that these are just a glimpse into the lives of lovers whose relationships are intense.

I don't know why, but I just couldn't get into most of the stories. LA Witt and Joey Hill's were the only ones that captured my attention and kept it throughout.
