A Lot Like Christmas is the best kind of feel good, sexy, sweet, holiday romance read. I am a sucker for everything Christmas and this book delivered it in spades. I fell hard and fast for both Jessica and Mitch and was rooting for them from the very beginning. Both characters are easy to love because they are such incredible people both individually and together. When I started this book I was in a bit of a mood but as I read through it I felt myself lightening up and relaxing. A Lot Like Christmas made my heavy heart happy with its Hallmark feel good goodness plus that added heat factor we all need and want too. Iโm giving A Lot Like Christmas the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval and adding Jennifer Snow to my one click authors list. TBR and Enjoy!

After reading A Lot Like Love, I instantly loved Blue Moon Bay and it's residents. I was really hoping to get to know Jess, the bakery owner, a little better and my wish came through! This is the perfect winter holiday romance book. Two kind and heartwarming characters, finding their way through life and love. These two couldn't have possibly fitted better with the Chrismas theme as they both care and look out for people in their own unique ways! Definitely one to get you into the holiday spirit!

Just okay. Characters didnโt thrill me. Loved the older adults. Wished they would have had more to do in the story. Sweet small town romance but nothing I havenโt read before.

Fun & heartwarming holiday romance. I loved the characters and the small town feel. This book made me wish I was sitting in a cozy room watching the snow fall with a gingerbread cookie and hot chocolate. Like a Hallmark christmas movie in book form, this is a perfect holiday read. *I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Wonderful to be back in Blue Moon Bay. Terrific suspenseful build up. One can't help but take sides on the fate of this couple. Of course I kept jumping from side to side. Sweet romance. Steamy scenes which I skip over. Great resolution to the conflicting possibilities.

What a lovey, heartwarming story!
With a bit of steamy moments to keep you warm, A Lot Like Christmas is a sweet romance that will give you all the Christmas holiday feels. Perfect Christmas book to start your holiday reading off.
Thank you to NetGallery, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest opinion. All opinions expressed are my own.

A Lot Like Christmas is a complete feel-good book and it has all the feels you want in a book set around Christmas time. The story is about Mitch and Jessica, who re connect with each other after years, having only had a passing acquaintance before. Mitch is back home for the holidays and Jessica is busy fulfilling Christmas orders at her bakery. The two have an immediate connection and whilst the sparks fly between the two, their lives are headed in completely different directions.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I fell in love with both Mitch and Jessica. I thought they were both super sweet characters with great chemistry. The emotional rollercoaster they're both on was so real that I felt it all as a reader and was hooked right till the end, wondering how it would all work out. It was great to be back in Blue Moon Bay and the small town and holiday vibe were absolutely perfect. A big fat five stars for me.

Jeez, fifty-two pounds? Bakers are strong.
Clearly they are all buttholes and she is well-rid of them.
Attagirl.
Who doesn't take Christmas off?
Lia sounds like a twat.
Good for her. A bakery should be a bakery, not a health food store.
Earth to Wes.
Poor little Ava.
Good proposal.

I absolutely adored this series and this book was no different. What a fun holiday romance. I really liked both of the hero and heroine and felt their connection. This book was very well written. It kept me engaged from start to finish. It's light, fun Christmas read that many will enjoy. I highly recommend any of Jennifer Snow's books. She's a great writer. Huge thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book.

A Lot Like Christmas - Jennifer Snow

For Jessica Connolly, there is no better place than her coastal hometown of Blue Moon Bay. She has a wonderful family, supportive best friends, and a successful bakery on Main Street. Unfortunately, every time she designs one of her ex-boyfriends' wedding cakes, she's reminded just how unlucky she is with love...and that she's a good luck charm for men to findย theirย happily ever after. With someone else. The minute they break up. So she's decided to be done with love.
Dr. Mitch Jameson is more comfortable traveling the world with Doctors Without Borders than staying in one place. He just needs to survive the holidays in his small hometown before he can leave again. The beautiful, intriguing bakery owner with an aversion to dating might be just who he needs to occupy his restless heart.
This is a delightful and sweet romance - a real heart-warming and uplifting tale. I flew through this book as it was so easy to lose track of time whilst visiting Blue Moon Bay. Warning - this book will play with your emotions!
A Lot Like Christmas is the second book in the Blue Moon Bay series but it could very easily be read as a stand-alone. I have not read the first book in the series but found this one to be very easy to follow. A highly recommended festive book to read in the upcoming festive season.
Rating 5/5

This book is full of sweetness, and not just because one of the main characters owns a bakery. I enjoyed this romance that also dealt with friendship, family, and finding oneself. A quick read that made me smile and get the holiday feels.

A lot Like Christmas is the perfect romance to read to get you in the holiday spirit. I love how this one is broken down by the count down to Christmas. Jessica is a sweetheart who has her share of bad luck when it comes to dating. She is surrounded by her besties and I love how they are always there for each other. This is the second book in the Blue Moon Bay series and I'm even more in love with this one then the first. Mitch is fantastic and trying to do his part with doctors without borders. There is such a fabulous connection between Mitch and Jessica when it comes to the love of charity. They are the perfect match. I love the build of the relationship Jessica and Mitch go through. Your heart goes out to Jessica as she tries to decide what is best thing for her to do. I could not get enough of this one. I cannot wait for more Blue Moon Bay to come.

This book had me conflicted. It was nice but I didnโt love it. It was a sweet romance. Very quick though, the entire thing seemed to take place over about three weeks so I think it was a bit too insta-love for me.
The plot was relatively interesting and it did leave me wanting to read more about the other characters so Iโll probably have to check those out. Iโm not exactly sure what I didnโt like but I did feel like something was missing and it was a bit hard to stay interested at least for me anyways.
Overall it was a quick read so definitely check it out if youโre interested in a holiday romance!
Thank you to Netgalley and Entangled for the opportunity to review. All thoughts are my own.

Return to Blue Moon Bayโฆjust in time for Christmas!
This holiday romance is a mix of a Hallmark Christmas movieโฆbut with heat!
I fell in love with these characters! Jessica Connolly, is kind of the glue in the center of many different groups, families, business, and the townโฆshe seems to be more of the glue holding some of her past boyfriends and their new fiancรฉes/wives as well. Dr. Mitch Jameson is taking a bit of a required break from his Doctors Without Borders position, to mentally heal and visit with his family.
Donโt go breaking any hearts this Christmasโฆ
I loved this storyline! There were different elements that brought it all together smoothly. Mitch is struggling a bit with things in his life, is a doctor, and has a very helping heart .Jessica is a business owner/baker, there for everyone, LOVES weddings, and is related to a few towns folkโฆ
So much for a hot guy offering her a tissue to wipe her eyes during the ceremony. Not that Trent wasnโt good-looking or a gentleman, but he was family.
The countdown to Christmas titles were great and the secondary characters were fun to get to know. I enjoyed and would recommend this holiday romance! A good blend of humor, romance and tears. This is the second book in the Blue Moon Bay series by author Jennifer Snow, but it could be read as a standalone. 4.5 stars!

A sweet small town holiday romance! A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS is the second book in Jennifer Snow's Blue Moon Bay series and brings together the town's favorite baker and a returning favorite son during the build up to the holiday season. The characters make a really cute couple and are fun to get to know.
Jessica is a delight, but she's tired of being seen as a relationship failure and having to grin and bear it as she makes everyone else's wedding cake. I enjoyed seeing her learn to see herself through someone else's eyes for a change.
Mitch is a well-rounded guy who has made it his life's mission to help the less fortunate, but he's never stopped to look at his life in a way that showed every day life that could also use his touch on it.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a small town romance centering on holiday fun.

A Lot like Christmas is exactly the book you need if you like to feel all the warm and cozies with a dash of love and a smidge of romance.

In this second installment of the Blue Moon Bay we follow Jess who, apart from being the town best baker, is known as the Good Luck Charm because after dating her men seem to find the women they end up marrying. For this reason, she seems to be losing hope of finding her own happily ever after...until she meets Mitch, a Doctors Without Borders volunteer who is back into town for a few weeks to spend Christmas with his family and with whom sparks will soon fly.
A Lot Like Christmas is definitely the perfect Christmassy read: atmospheric, heartwarming, feel-good and easy to read and get sucked into. The attraction and the chemistry between Mitch and Jess are undeniable and both characters are likeable and extremely relatable.
100% would recommend to anyone looking for a cute, heartwarming, Christmassy, small-town romance.
**Thank you to Netgalley, Jennifer Snow and Entagled Publishing for the e-ARC of A Lot Like Love in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.**

I really enjoyed this book.
We meet Jessica who lives and works in her home town of Blue Moon Bay. She runs the local bakery and it seems that every time she dates a guy, he dumps her and immediately finds his soulmate.
Jessica loves Christmas and this year she is not finding her Christmas spirit as comforting as normal. Mitch has come home from his latest tour with Doctors without Borders and is enduring his hometown and doing what his family want. They meet at the bakery and from there their friendship blooms. Can they help each other through Christmas and maybe find what each are looking for?
I loved the small-town setting, the characters and the love the town has for Christmas. Definitely as book to read with a hot cup of chocolate, with the Christmas tree lights twinkling and the fire crackling.

This book was super cute and very festive. I loved the setting and it really got me into the holiday mood. However, I didn't really connect with the characters very much so it made it harder to really be engaged.

Such a good Christmastime romance. Jess owns the bakery in Blue Moon Bay, and Mitch is the older brother of one of her friends. He reluctantly comes home between assignments with Doctors Without Borders, and when he starts seeing Jess every day, his displeasure at being home changes.
Lots of fun holiday events. Many appearances from Sarah from the first book. There's an ongoing question as to how this is going to end up, because Jess has an offer for purchasing her business. Everything gets resolved and there's a great epilogue, too.
