I highly enjoyed this book. Ella is enjoying her day off and trying to let go of thoughts of a recent break up. While dining at a restaurant she locks eyes with Sandro and over the next few weeks, Sandro and Ella start a lovely relationship. There are a few bumps in the road and I think that Sandro could have handled an interference much quicker however overall an enjoyable read.

This story lacked some depth for me. I enjoyed the chemistry between Alessandro and Ella, but I wanted more. Yes, Alessandro is dreamy. The story just felt surface especially with that dramatic ending.

This book was read thanks to NetGalley.

I want to start this review stating that I have a huge crush with Jimmy Garoppolo, so if you don't know who I am talking about, do yourself a favor and google Jimmy Garoppolo, and I thought that I would be Ella and he would be Sandro.

That being said it was a good story, with the only problem being her excessive distrust, was a lowkey turn down with the story, which was good itself because it had things i loved and I appreciated a lot .

I recommend this book for those who love romance.

If you want a cute, light read, this is it. The story is good, not a lot of antagonism from other characters, and everything falls into place easily. My reason for 3.5* is for two reasons, which were my personal hangups. First was how upset and scarred Ella was by her ex boyfriend. What he did was terrible and there are no excuses, however, they were only together for 5 months. If they had been together for a longer term, I'd understand her behavior. Second was the story became a bit monotonous to me. Ella and Sandro ate and had sex, not much else happened in between. I would recommend this book but it won't go on my favorites list.

My thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review An Italian Affair by Evie Baxter.

An Italian Affair by Evie Baxter is the story of Ella and Sandro.
Ella had been hurt in a previous realtionship which has lead her to not want to venture there anytime soon. Sandro is instantly attracted to Ella and wants more from her but he has his work cut out for him. Enjoyed

Oh my goodness this book had it all. Love, travel, food and craziness. Greatly enjoyed this exceptional read and a new author for my must reads list.

I received an ARC from Netgalley in return for an honest review.

An entertaining and rather lovely read. Ella and Sandro are a fabulous couple although I was horrified at how Ella was so distrustful of Sandro and ran away at the end. Her behaviour was melodramatic and over the top and I didn’t much like her at that point. So a three star read rather than 4.

A very light, fun steamy romp. The writing style is casual and direct and there is plenty of humor and heart. The love scenes, and the language used to describe them, veers towards erotica as opposed to romance (not a complaint, just an FYI) .

Impossibly beautiful people in impossibly beautiful places doing impossibly romantic things. Go in with the appropriate expectations and come away smiling!

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

This is a lovely sweet romance. Ella has sworn off men and romance after her boyfriend turns up with his fiancé. But then she meets the handsome and irresistible Sandro and her resolve weakens.

Sandro may be rich and handsome but he’s not a player. A bad relationship has made him wary of becoming involved. But then he sees Ella and attraction blooms. Later when they meet he knows she’s special.

This is (for me anyway) a perfect example of a 3* read. An enjoyable romance with likeable characters.

I voluntarily read a review copy kindly provided by NetGalley.
