This was your basic one night stand, girl steals from guy, guy is sent to kill her and reclaim his property but accidentally falls for her. I enjoyed the two main characters but wish just a little more happened in the plot. Things just got resolved a little to quickly for me. I will however be reading book two.

In order to save her father from the Lionsgate Kinship, Tessa needs to find a way to sell his gold to buy his freedom. At the advice of her friends Lexi and Nash, she contacts Dare. At first he refuses because it's impossible to move gold that quickly, even in the black market, but when he realizes how much danger she's in he reluctantly agrees to help. But her father was in way deeper than he'll admit and soon Tessa and Dare are on the run, trying to take down this branch of Lionsgate before they're taken out themselves.
I loved this action-packed second book in the series. Real life hackers are usually indoorsy nerds (at least how Hollywood portrays them) but Dare's body is just as hot as his mind. And the chemistry between him and Tessa... just wow! I can't wait to find out what happens next!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC.

"Traced" is book 2 in Samantha's Wilde's funny, sexy and suspenseful Blood Brothers series! After an amazing Book 1 "Bound" where we meet Nash and Lexie this book had a lot to live up to! I am so pleased to say that Dare and Tessa's book Traced is just as amazing! Bound still has my favourite ever first chapter so if you haven't read it DO IT NOW! Traced though manages to weave a complex story love, betrayal and the infamous Lionsgate we met in book 1.

This book tells the story of Dare (Nash's brother from book 1) and Tessa a new found friend of Lexie's. who is in trouble.... big trouble. After her father disappears and asks her to sell some assets she needs a blackmarket dealer enter DARE!

Things I loved about this book:
- characters were amazingly well written, deep and relatable (or as much as you can relate to a blackmarket dealer!)
- Amazing to see Nash and Lexie again from book 1
- I am unfortunately really good at picking the bad guy and the big twist/s and this just kept moving at a cracking pace and I was luckily surprised!
- secondary characters were intriguing and I am hoping we see Cole's book coming soon!
- The story itself was well written and the issues were believable.

Things I didn't like:
- If i am being really picky then Tessa was sometimes frustrating when she wouldn't listen to Dare and his expertise!

I am so excited and can't wait to Brooks' (Lexie's missing brother!) book "Unchained" comes out!!! This series is amazing and I can reread over and over!

This is the second book in the Blood Brothers series by Samatha Wilde (Keith). Again Wilde has created a hard-to-put-down romantic thriller with a mafia theme. Expect amazing writing, great pace, lots of suspense and scorching hot chemistry!

Tess has always loved her father but when he suddenly disappears asking her to sell six gold bricks, worth four million dollars she realises that she hasn’t really known him, or at least not all parts of his life.

She entlists Dare Holmes, brother of Nash who we met in the first book in the series. The other two brothers, Dallas and Cole feature as well protecting the lives of Tess and Dare; and bringing destruction to the Lionsgate Kinship.

Thank you NetGalley for providing me with an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

4/5 stars

I couldn’t set this book down! It was sassy, sexy and intriguing! I loved that Tess thought for herself and made her own decisions. Her and Dares relationship progressed steadily but not too fast. I enjoyed their banter and that she was originally apprehensive of him. I also enjoyed the plot and how it wasn’t super predictable. There were some curveballs that I didn’t see coming. On top of that Tess went through some real stuff. Where even I was like??? Where is the white knight!! Overall very fun read and would read again!
