This is a very well written book, an interesting theory of hitlers reincarnation, if a little terrifying, it certainly took us through lots of stimulation and gripping parts, from a terrorist in Indonesian jungle to a love story, it was good, just not my kind of thing.

I'm not the biggest fan of multiple stories and time lines, but over the the concept and story was good.
I found I was really into it, then not so much then would get back into it so honestly I'm not sure if I would recommend this book

I admit I found this book very difficult to get into. It didn't really draw me in as I expected it to and in the end I conceded defeat after a few chapters.

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are my own and not influenced by anyone. Ever.

The Third Testament is composed of two stories that take place in two different places and two different timelines which converge towards the end of the book in an explosion of action that leads to the ending of the story with a twist that will leave the reader thinking about the surprising alternative with which the author leaves us.
Although it took me a while to find a liking for the book, as the story progresses it becomes more and more interesting.

After just reading Beyond Red Lines I was a little disappointed in this one.

It's two stories with two different timelines and two different places which come together at the end.
Confused? Yeah me too and I read it.
It took me a while to get in to and then the author leaves you with a twist. He probably thought it was a great idea. Me, it just left me surprised.

Enjoy!

The story in this book could be reality. In 1992 Alexie Soloviev is hunting through the KGB's secret documents and finds Hitler's will. Neo Nazi groups, thirty some years later, are acting upon the information in the Will. An intelligence agent with the government, Melanie, infiltrates a White Supremist group to find out the particulars of this plan. In order to thwart the recreation of the Third Reich she and her accomplice, Jeff, must find Alexie and destroy the plan. Well written and totally believeable.
I was provided this copy by NetGalley in return for honest, unpaid review.

Rehov has written an action packed suspenseful book. I enjoyed the many geographic locations described in the book. The plot had twists and turns until the final page.

I appreciate the publisher allowing me to read this book. I really wanted to like this book but had a hard time getting into the story and had to fight to finish it.

As usual, Pierre Rehov has no pity for his readers and forces them to stay up until the early hours of the morning, unable to let go of his book. With an ultra-documented background, we are plunged into three intertwined universes: neo-Nazism in the former GDR and in Moscow, Islamism in Indonesia and occultism in Tibet. The author takes us on a journey between the USA, South-East Asia, Germany and Russia in an intrigue worthy of the greatest spy novels. And as usual with Pierre Rehov, if the reader sacrifices his nights to read, he comes out a winner on two levels: he is entertained and feels his heart beating to the rhythm of the twists and turns, but as a bonus he comes out of this adventure more informed, more educated, more open to the realities of our world. A great book.

I’m sorry, but I did not finish this book. It didn’t make sense in places and the text would randomly turn red and this really put me off, which is a pity and I liked the storyline.

First and foremost this book needs serious editing. There are sections that are not in the right order and it makes following the story difficult.
Despite that, this book is well written, massively researched or the author has the most amazing creativity I have seen in a long time.
The story in brief: a young woman, Melany Carson infiltrates a neo-NaZi group in a small town in the States. Her mission is to find out who the Father of Victory is, a name that was given to Hitler when alive. She barely comes out of this mission alive but learns a few key pieces of information about this Father of Victory, all related to the Third Reich and a potential recurring of the order. Her boyfriend works for the same agency and so they decide to do some more digging, which takes them to Moscow, Kahla (Germany) and Banda Aceh, Indonesia. They risk their lives at every turn but somehow manage to survive the adventure. Just.
This book is certainly filled with lots of twists and turns. Believable? Maybe not. But it makes me want to check all the facts that are thrown our way nearly on every page.
Did I like it? Well there were times when I thought there were too many details that were not necessarily needed. The author could have condensed the story a bit. The end is cute but not believable either. I think i had a hard time to connect with the story. A bit too unbelievable for me. But I liked the history details.
It is a well written book. If you like conspiracies, some history about the hidden facets of the Reich, some political intrigue, this is for you.
