I really liked this one but Rock and Vanessa's connection just didn't seem as authentic in Thrill Ride, as it did in previous books from this series. The story-line was entertaining and action-packed but I couldn't get behind the main couple, and sometimes the BKI's team silly antics through me from the story. Long-time fans of the BKI will probably enjoy this book, despite it's tendency to be a little of the top in romance and humor for a romantic suspense. As an over-all part of the series, it was a nice progression, but fell flat on it's own.
