I really enjoyed this book. I liked the characters especially Verity's mom. I love how the ghosts interact with the scenes. I did guess who the bad guy was before the ending but it didn't affect the reveal. I'm intrigued by what's in the box. Can't wait until the next one. #TheHauntedHomecoming #NetGalley

Another fun edition to the Southern Ghost Hunters series! When a body is found during homecoming, Verity begins to investigate with the aid of her resident ghost, Frankie. Along with Frankie, Verity's mother gets into the middle of things, telling the entire town everything Verity is doing. Between all the characters and their craziness, this is an entertaining book that made me smile.

If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. It's an engaging story that is perfect for an afternoon's escape. While this is a stand alone novel, you will enjoy it so much more if you've read the prior books in the series. I'm already looking forward to the next one. The author is on my must read authors' list.
