Another round of Medieval shenanigans with the Irish knight Richard Savage, the winsome Templar, the 2nd installment in this terrific new series written by Tim Hodkinson and set during the turbulent reign of Edward II.

Once again Richard gets involved with the brutal political realities of his times and the violent issues involving the Scots and their great warrior king Robert Bruce, the English and their weak & deceitful monarch and the ever seething cauldron of Irish discontent forever boiling and threatening to spill over and overwhelm at any time the festering political landscape.....

Rollicking knightly deeds, chivalrous razzle dazzle, violent military encounters, love, greed and all the Medieval ingredients you could possibly invoke can be found in this brilliantly plotted fictional tapestry.

Historical fiction at its best that really deserves to be thoroughly enjoyed over and over and without any moderation whatsoever! Please go for itπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Many thanks to Netgalley and Aria&Aries/Head of Zeus for this terrific ARC

This is an excellent book.the second in the series covering the knight templars quest in and around Ireland. You are kept enthralled with every page you turn covering medieval life in all its filth and glory.A thoroughly good factual read.

I loved this one as it's fast paced, action packed and it kept me turning pages.
We met again the characters of the Lion of the Grail and we follow them living in a historical turmoil.
Good world building and character development, vivid historical background.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine
