I had a very difficult time getting through this book because the format did not work well on my Kindle. While some of the reading was very interesting and thought-provoking, some areas seemed like a too-long lecture in academia. I would have liked to see some more focus on non-fiction reading, and readers choice.

An important and informative read for examine an often-used practice, complete with ideas for enriching the experience. I would suggest this as a PLC read for teachers across content areas and in grade levels 2 and above.
