An absolutely beautiful guide to using embroidery for upcycling and redesigning your wardrobe~

This book is a wonderful guide to embroidery for either beginners or people who are more experienced, as well as giving an insight into both hand embroidery and knitting and how they can be used in conjunction with one another in order to create an amazing finished piece.

The patterns are clear and offer a wide range of styles and accessories such as hats. towards the back of this book, there was a few photographic examples of other uses for hand embroidery on clothes and accessories which act as inspiration and allow the people to get more out of the book.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in knitting and/or hand embroidery.

If you want to up cycle old clothes or have a favourite jumper with a hole, then this book will give you lots of ideas that will give your old favourites a new lease of life. Easy to follow instructions, simple and easily available materials. Some lovely example that will inspire you to not throw things away before have a go at vamping them anew.

This book gives the basic idea of embroidery and design for the clothes in our wardrobe. Mostly to customize tops, t shirts, cardigans etc. Even though there are so many video tutorials and blogs available for free, I prefer books in the good old fashioned way. It's easier than going back and forth in a video. This book covers stitches and designs for different variety of clothes which is much appreciated. I'll use some of these techniques to fix my plain boring clothes.

The embroidery stitches were basic and easy to understand ones. The pictures are clear and gives an easy idea of how the stitches can be incorporated and the dressess can be highlighted. However the knitting part was bit difficult to follow up

I have to say I feel like the title of this book is misleading as a very large portion of the book is devoted to knitting patterns. These patterns are cute, but I'm not much of a knitter and it's not what I expected from a book called Wardrobe Embroidery. The embroidery itself I found kind of lackluster; the floral patterns don't have much variety and some of the work looks a bit amateurish. Unless you are specifically seeking a combo knitting/embroidery book, there are many better and more inspiring options out there.

Sadly the formatting for these types of books makes it really difficult to get a true picture of the real book, as spacing is off, pictures appear out of place and it generally makes things awkward to read. As a knitter I found the patterns hard to read, and sadly they don't appear to be very size inclusive either.
There are plenty of lovely photos and some lovely embroidery ideas so should be good for inspiration.

Oooh, I'm so happy for this book! I have loved and followed Warunee since forever and I am especially in love with the black dress with golden leaves. I have been waiting for the translation of this book for so long!

HOWEVER, NetGalley, please fix the format! I don't know why, but most cookbooks and craft books show streatched in the app. It is not enjoyable at all. It is hard to read and beautiful photos are ruined.

This book is so unique and awesome!!! I love the idea of reviving some old, plain, or outdated pieces through embroidery! This book would be the perfect addition for any crafter or embroidering novice who loves floral patterns and is looking to make some environmentally friendly changes, like using shirts you already have or giving a second (or more) life to used ones, to glam up with these adorable patterns! The patterns are so stinkin' cute! There is a huge variety- on shirts, pants, cardigans, hats, bags, plus knit and embroidery designs if you would like to make a whole new craft. There are beautiful how to pictures for the various stitches and patterns, with reproducibles in the back.

I'm a huge fan of craft books and usually have to check out the latest ones. I was super impressed with how outstanding this one is and delighted to find it so different than most others are on the market.
