With this genuine & gossip
free portrait of Princess Margaret's early life and her role within the British monarchy, the author had proven once again that he was in the late 70s and early 80s one of the best biographers of the Royal family & an astute analyst & sharp chronicler of Lilibeth's early reign.

Written with admiration & without any sycophancy, this delicious biography is the compelling portrait of an admirable woman & her eventful life.
A sympathetic portrait that deserves to be discovered by a new readership.

Highly recommended and to be enjoyed without any moderation and kudos to Sapere Books for this new addition to the world of the Windsors.

Many thanks to Netgalley and Sapere Books for this terrific ARC

I wont be reading this and when looked for a publication date I saw it was 1974!
I guess I presumed it would be a new/ recent book
