I can’t get enough of the books in this series. Every single one is beautifully illustrated and gives a short little snippet of the life of the person featured. As someone who empathizes with Greta for her environmentalism and how she’s portrayed, I really enjoyed this little book to introduce my kid to her.

Like other books in this series, it is a fun little introduction to historic figures. Definitely a great way to introduce kids to biographies and a nice read for adults too. I would recommend all the books in this series.

.Greta Thunberg is young girl who is a current climate change activist and wants people to stand up and speak up about the dangers of climate change and how we should move forward in the future. She is a great addition to the Little People Big Dreams series.

'Greta Thunberg: My First Greta Thunberg' by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara with illustrations by Anke Weckmann is a board book about a young activist.

In a simpler take on biographies than the Little People, Big Dreams series, we get a board book for toddlers with less words on the page. With bright, simple illustrations and abbreviated content, this is designed for a busy child's attention span.

It certainly works in the format designed. I don't know how much a small child would retain, but it's a nice book.

I received a review copy of this ebook from Quarto Publishing Group-Frances Lincoln Children's Books, and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this ebook.

Greta is the perfect role model for children. I am pleased that she was selected for a little people big dreams story. It's nice to see someone who is trying to make a change in the world and is someone who teaches kids important lessons.

A young girl who became famous for her persistence in keeping the world healthier, thus lessen the global warming. She really cares for the world we lived in, that evoke the same courage to speak for the better of the land.

What Greta fights for should also be our concern, the climat change kept being worse each year. This is a good read so little children can learn earlier how to save this earth.

I really love this series that Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara has going. These non-fiction, children's picture book introductions to famous figures are fabulous!

This time around we learn about Greta Thunberg. This young Swedish girl is a great environmental activist with a sweet story. She's a normal girl who is changing the world! With selective mutism and Asperger's, Greta had a magical super power for being able to focus on and stand up for what she believed in.

This is a great introduction to Greta and is a wonderful source of empowerment! Other young readers can be just like her and change the world.

The biggest issue I have with these books is that I personally don't like the art style. It doesn't sit well with my eyes and it doesn't look very pleasing. It doesn't affect my reading pleasure, but that is my negative!

Four out of five stars.

Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for providing me with a free copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.

What a great children's book! It is informative and hopeful in a way that is accessible for young folks! In addition, the illustrations were beautiful. It gives a good glance at what Greta has done and plans to do, which is great for starting young and connecting this to social and emotional learning at a young age.

I read this with my 5-year old daughter who is already familiar with the existing edition of the Little People, Big Dreams Greta Thunberg book. She is very keen on the level of detail in the illustrations and embraces the important message in the book. Although I can't imagine many babies being ready to hear about Greta Thunberg's life story (my 3-year old said she liked it but didn't seem very interested), it makes a fabulous gift or coffee-table book. A board book edition would probably be welcome in many classrooms too, but not with the "baby" label.

Greta Thunberg is an important addition to the Little People, Big Dreams series as it discusses a current and relevant person.
The book is well set out, although it does have limited information due to Greta's age - it gives enough facts which may make the reader want to find out more information about her.
The timeline at the rear of the book is a nice touch and the illustrations are bright and engaging.
This text can be used across all key stages and it provides the reader with some important food for thought.

It all started with one girl. Greta heard about pollution and climate change and decided that she would be the one person who would make a difference. And she did!
The illustrations by Anke Weckmann are simple, colorful, and eye-catching.

This was a quick read with a story that is inspiring and easy to follow. I loved how Greta’s sharp focus is described as a superpower instead of a disability. The illustrations were not my favorite, but they fit well with Greta’s minimalist aesthetic.

Oh man, I absolutely find these series endearing and inspiring for young readers that I firmly believe they belong on bookshelves. In Greta Thunberg, we follow Greta's fight for the environment and it's written in such a way that children are able to understand and grasp lessons easily. Maria has made this book short, informative, and full of illustrations making it a fast read. I highly recommend this book in-home libraries and schools all over.. A huge thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read more on environmental activist Greta.

This title is for children who are still a bit too young for the Little People, Big Dreams series. This entry in the My First series tells the story of Greta Thunberg in simple sentences along with accompanying llustrations.

Young listeners learn that Greta cares very deeply for the world. They see how she moved from doing small things to becoming a global phenomenon. Children will discover that by working together with others, big things can be accomplished. They will also learn that kids can help to change the world and get adults to listen to them. What good things to know!

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.

This is an amazing story of Greta Thurnberg. She has become a sensation known all over the world. Greta’s passion is Saving The Environment.

This story begins when Greta was very young. She wants to be kind to nature. Her Great-Grand-Uncle Svante long ago discovered that humans were damaging the planet. Greta can’t understand why Adults are working so slowly to make changes. She sees a movie about climate change. She takes this very, very seriously. So much so, that she refuses to speak. When she does speak it is only about things very important to her. This is her Superpower, promising to do everything she can to save our planet. She starts alone, asking her parents not to eat meat or travel by plane. Then she makes signs with messages about the environment and goes outside the offices of leaders. More and more kids start to join her. They have signs saying, ‘Wake Up’, ‘There is No Planet B’ and ‘No More Excuses’. These phrases are well known now. Greata had such an Impact! Millions of people around the world stood in the streets saying we must stop Global Warming. Greta starts asking World Leaders to commit to environmental change for the future of all kids.

This message is so powerful for children. It shows how one person starting alone can change the World. Greta is certainly not alone anymore, she has millions of people who agree that they want to save the environment.

This is an excellent book and shows the Power for Kids to Make Change. It Inspires them to know their ideas can make our world better.

Thank you NetGalley, Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara, and Frances Lincoln Children’s Books for an ARC of this wonderful book.
