This was a great story of hope and courage. This young girl went through so much more than many adults could withstand, yet came out of it triumphant and victorious through Jesus Christ. I love how the book shared both the triumphs and the struggle. Though I know a book could never fully convey the pain, fear, and suffering of this, It also didn't sugarcoat it.
