I liked the fact that this book was actually a 7-week course that you follow week by week trying new things, and building on what you learned from previous weeks.

I have to admit I am generally a very happy person, so this book wasn't aimed at me, but even then I found some interesting and useful ideas that I can incorporate into my general life.

A Happier You by Scott Glassman is a very well written book about taking control of your happiness. The week by week tips were very helpful and attainable. I took my time to read this one and went back over some sections, to refresh. I will probably look back in it for years to come. This was a four star read for me. Thank you to Netgalley & Scott Glassman for my copy for an honest review. It was my pleasure to read and review.

If you are considering giving this a read, I highly recomend it. I will admit, there are a lot of negative events going on all around us. We can either sink down into the negativity or we can look for the light of optomism. Glassman gives fantastic guidance that really helped me flip my perspective and see things in a positive manner. I now am not falling for the negativity effect as easily as I once was. I truly do feel that I now have a positivity reflex. This was easy enough to absorb yet it was packed with so much information that was new to me.

I have always been a big fan of mental health workbooks and cognitive behavioral therapy. I liked A Happier You because it encourages the reader to put their own mental health into their own hands and strive for healthy patterns. This is a must read for anyone working on improving their mental well-being.

I think sometimes the universe gives you what you need when you need it and this book is just that. After hitting a real low spot in the last year I have been working hard to get my life back on track and this book fit right into what I am trying to accomplish. The book is laid out beautifully and not hard to follow at all. I felt it really did help me on my journey to changing my thinking and being happier. If you are looking to change some things in your life this book is a must buy. The exercises are not hard to implement into your daily life. I just felt this book was exactly what I needed when I needed it.

Glassman's A Happier You gives clear instructions and a course to follow to change you negative thinking. Do you often find yourself in a cycle of negative thoughts one leading to another and another until you are so angry or depressed you can't deal. No more.

It is recommended that you follow the book as it is written. Each step should follow the one before it because they are dependent on each other. The course is for seven-weeks which seems a long time but really isn't. Change your thinking and change your life. Choose happiness daily.

Each week’s lesson has various exercises for the reader to cover. This is a must read for anyone seeking more positivity in their life. Very uplifting and eye catching bright yellow cover!
