Nice is not the right word, but it is how I feel after reading this. Literally, I'm smiling like an idiot because everything is happy and there was just the right amount of drama. THE COMMUNICATION!!!! I have been waiting for a romance with healthy communication, this one has it and I LOVED every second of it. This is a really great sapphic romance, if you're looking for one (truly the perfect end to this series that so many people including me have loved!!)

There were several very funny laugh out loud moments coupled with real moments that are relatable for young adults--friends moving on, things changing, exploring the deeper reasons for your fears....just really 'light stuff'(*insert sarcasm here*)

If that wasn't enough, think friends to lovers'. Reconnecting with old friend. Found family....oh, and they were roommates in the very gay kind of way. Truly fantastic and I can't wait to get a hard copy for my library!

This book and these characters. I absolutely adored Margot and could relate to her. Never lacking in one liners, she is everything I love in a character. Obviously, I love a good romance or I wouldn’t be reading a romance but this one ticked all the boxes for me. It was funny, heartfelt, had depth, and I truly enjoyed the characters.

Especially Cat. The only downside I faced with this one didn’t come from the characters or the writing (both are great) but I just hated the lack of communication between Olivia and Margot! So many things could’ve been avoided or resolved with talking. I also realize that’s a real human flaw and happens quite often so it still gets a high rating from me. Overall, I loved this book. A great sapphic read that’s light and fun.

DNF, I didn't know this was the third in a series and I just can't get into the first book. I started the first chapter of this one just to see and like the first I'm not vibing with the style. I hear these books are wonderful, but they just aren't working for me.

If I’m being honest I didn’t enjoy this book all that much. I think the plot and story was lacking and so was the dialogue. The humor was very cheesy (millennial). Now the reason this is getting three stars is because of MF MARGOT MY WIFE. she had me running LAPS. The smut was wow. We don’t get a lot of wlw smut in the publishing industry so I’m probably starved, but when I tell you I stopped breathing at some parts- anyways this probably isn’t a professional review but I don’t care. Do you hear me??? This is getting stars because I thought the smut was good. 😤

I adored this series so much! This was absolutely a lovely conclusion and I’m going to miss the story, the characters and everything they made me feel while reading them.

I am a sucker for three things: childhood friends to lovers, second chance romance, and Alexandria Bellefleur. This book was exactly what I needed to get out of my reading slump and a fantastic addition to the series.

Overall Impression: As the third book in the Written in the Stars series, it was nice to finally see Margot get her HEA. This was a very enjoyable second chance romance but I wish we’d had a bit more build up of attraction.

Synopsis: Event planner Olivia gets the best opportunity of her career to prove herself by planning the (last minute) wedding of dating app founder Brenden and Annie when she runs into her high school bestie (and longtime crush) Margot, who happens to also be Brenden’s Best Woman. When Olivia’s apartment floods, Margot offers up her spare room for Olivia where sparks quickly fly.

My Thoughts: So glad there’s another WLW romance out there, as there’s not enough representation out there. I also loved seeing Margot happy and learning about Olivia was great, but I felt like they jumped into things quickly, which is fine, but as the reader, I didn’t see their connection as well until later. You knew they were friends in high school but didn’t see the reasons why they liked each other, just that they did. You got into that more later but the first half was mostly sexual chemistry. I did love how in the end, neither girl shied away from telling the other the honest truth that they needed to hear.

The steam: This book is super steamy, maybe more so than the other two. Lots of steamy scenes and dirty talk.

I definitely recommend reading this, especially if you liked the first 2 in the series, I just wanted a bit more out of bed chemistry from the readers perspective.

childhood friends to lovers and miscommunication trope, my best friends. i love that even though they hadn’t seen each other for 11 years they could still be friends and all the stuff that happened in the past hadn’t left them, if that makes sense. this book was so well done and the epilogue at the end was adorable, i love that it ended with all three couples married/engaged.

This was an entertaining “second chance at romance”, sapphic book. Interesting main characters, supportive side characters, good setting, and plot. I enjoyed it!

Margot and Olivia’s lives have diverged but chance and an emergency salvage wedding plan for Margot’s good friend bring them together after long ago misunderstandings and years spent apart. Sparks fly and it doesn’t take long for their mutual attraction to heat up again.

"The perfect romance series doesn't exist...." OH WAIT YES IT DOES!! Oh my swoon. Alexandria Bellefluer creates pure rom com magic. You know those books where you automatically connect with the characters, become invested in the plot, never want the story to end and want to be best friends with all the characters? Yeah, that's these books for me. This latest installment of the steamy queer romance series immediately captivated me. We finally get Margot's love story! While planning Brendan's wedding, she crosses path with her first love, Olivia. The two haven't spoken in 10 years since Olivia crushed Margot's heart. Through a twist of fate, they are forced back into each other's lives and sparks begin to fly. Can they put the past behind them and move forward? Or is the past bound to repeat itself? Full of steam, heart, laugh out loud moments (spoiler alert a vibrator becomes a cat toy and I have NEVER laughed that hard ever), and all the charm- I can't recommend this book enough.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Written in the Stars romance trilogy! This was a great way to end it. Alexandria Bellefleur is great at writing romcom set ups and giving them a great conclusion.

I love Margot and Olivia. This book is hilarious and heartfelt and I related to these characters so hard.
I thought as an Aries and from the previous books in the series that I’d relate most to Margot, and I did relate but I hardcore related to Olivia. These characters have so much depth and I want more! I couldn’t get enough of this book. It’s the quickest I’ve read a book all month and has maybe - fingers crossed - pulled me out of a reading slump.

I wanted more of all the characters in the Written in the Stars series, so I’m sad this is (presumably) the last in the series.

This book was so good! I couldn’t seem to put it down! The spicy scenes were so well wrote and just amazing! I would highly recommend this book if your looking for a romance. I will be sure to keep an eye out for what else Alexandria Bellefleur does!

This was such a great, adorable, sapphic read that completed the Written in the Stars trilogy so perfectly. I read all 3 books back to back and I loved getting to read about all of the characters as each of the books progressed! This story follows Margot, self-proclaimed fifth wheel that finally had the chance to get her own story of love in this universe! Margot stumbles upon a long lost friend, or, more than friend, Olivia unexpectedly. The close proximity trope begins when Margot invites Olivia to stay in her extra room in her apartment, and from there everything blossoms so beautifully (and steam-ily?) They have a serious discussion to resolve conflict from their childhood, but one thing leads to another and, well you know where it will go when it comes to an Alexandria Bellefleur book! I loved the theme of second chances and the added story of family and trust. I also loved the astrology themes throughout the series and it continued into this book as well!

I liked this simple read a lot, and the rest of the series. Lots of laughs, and lots of steamy moments!

This queer second chance rom-com comes with a fair share of baggage including nearly a decade of miscommunication. Adults not being able to talk to each other is usually a deal breaker for me, BUT with Margot and Olivia it actually worked. They are vulnerable and emotionally stunted so it was fun watching them grow and build a relationship together.

It's tender and lighthearted with some serious spice. ((Fans herself)). It's cranky and cute. It's full of tension and trepidation. It's queer and romantic. It has a stellar supporting cast of friends. It's an absolute delight.

While this can be a stand alone book, the character background I gained by reading the first two books enhanced my enjoyment of the third. Pus- you have time between now and Feb. Get on it!

Count Your Lucky Stars is the perfect happy ending to Alexandria Bellefleur's contemporary romance trilogy. Margot, who we've seen nurture best friends Elle and Brendon through their own HEAs, finally gets a second chance with her first love, and it is both steamy and dreamy.

Back in highschool, childhood friends Margot and Olivia had one beautiful week together before things went terribly wrong between the two of them. Fast forward eleven years, and now-divorced Olivia has finally made headway into the wedding planning industry. Her first big wedding, however, just happens to be one in which Margot (yes, her Margot) is the best woman. As the wedding draws near and circumstances have Margot and Olivia living together as roommates, it's a battle to see who will break the stalemate of unspoken feelings and past hurts.

While I struggle with romances where the main characters simply refuse to talk about their clearly mutual attraction, I think Bellefleur handled the situation beautifully. She gives her characters true and honest feelings that they work through as the plot progresses instead of writing an endless stream of "but what if she doesn't want me back???" While the sex scenes are truly *chef's kiss*, what I enjoyed most about this book were the scenes where the characters worked through their sh*t, both with each other and on their own. I love romances that can do both, and this one does it in spectacular fashion.

I really loved this book! I found this author by first reading "written in the stars" and this book didn't disappoint at all. The writer is great at writing both funny and emotionally touching moments, and she has a great sense of pacing and building momentum. She also writes sex scenes very well. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to read a queer women's love story, but also anyone who is interested in a very contemporary romcom style book, with lots of references to the internet, astrology, fanfiction, and that sort of "nerd" culture of today.

This book was so great! The characters were excellent and refreshing. I haven’t read the first two installments so I was a little wary just jumping straight into this book but it was fantastic. Easy to read and the pacing is wonderful.

This book is honestly so funny. I caught myself laughing out loud quite a few times.

The perfect spring read, this book was a breath of fresh air. The way the characters were written was amusing and enjoyable. I loved the writing and storyline which felt so wholesome. This book was a great addition to my day.
