I really enjoyed this sapphic 2nd chance/ forced proximity trope-filled romance! It totally works as a standalone, but I liked that Elle/ Darcy and Brandon/ Annie still had a solid presence in this story.
I liked seeing a softer side to Margot. I found her worries about potentially being replaced by Darcy as Elle's #1, go-to person so very relatable. It just really tugged at my heart and I adore their friendship and support of each other. Olivia was so sweet. I enjoyed her character development and seeing her go after what SHE wanted out of life, instead of going along with what other people wanted. When she finally stood up to her ex husband I wanted to cheer! Also, I love her cat named Cat as a nod to Breakfast at Tiffany's, which is one of my favorite movies!
While there was a lot of longing/ pining, there was also so much fire between Margo t and Olivia. Their sex was HOT. And the dirty talk was really A+ stuff.
I'm so glad Margot got her HEA! I am not sure if this series is going to continue, but if it does I'm definitely in to keep reading it!

I thought this was a solid book from Alexandria Bellefleur -- but to me, it didn't hold up to her first two books in this series. I loved the premise -- but I just wanted MORE. It felt like the plot moved too quickly in some parts, and then dragged in others. Some of the quick plot points took me out of the book.

I truly loved returning to these characters and their stories -- and I was excited to get to finally hear Margot's story.

For me, this book just fell a little short of the other ones -- but still a good read.

This was probably one of my most anticipated new releases of the year and it did not disappoint Alexandria Bellefleur became one of my favorite authors as soon as I read Written in The Stars. I absolutely love her writing , the characters, and the world she created in this series. Margot is a character that is introduced in the first book, and you really get to see how awesome she is throughout the first two books. So seeing her finally get her happily ever after was great! Margot's book is a second chance story between her and her high school best friend/crush Olivia. Of all of the books in this series I think this one was by far the steamiest and possibly the funniest (although my favorite will always be Written in The Stars. I absolutely adore Darcy). I loved Margot and Olivia together. I loved their awkwardness at first, then their friendship and eventually relationship. This book was such a good time. I love seeing the main characters from the previous books and I think this was a fantastic conclusion to a great series.

The Written in the Stars series by Alexandria Bellefleur is a favorite of mine, but unfortunately, this is my least favorite in the standalone series.

This book centers around two childhood best friends, who haven't spoken since high school after a failed spring break of first love and first...everything. A combination of second chance romance + close proximity, COUNT YOUR LUCKY STARS hangs on one conflict that I don't love: miscommunication.

The miscommunication between Margot and Olivia ruins their relationship in high school, and threatens to ruin everything they've built again 10 years later. My biggest issue with this particular conflict is their relationship hangs on the fact that they won't communicate their feelings with each other. And if a couple can't communicate their feelings, it feels doomed from the start.

I would still recommend this book, if only for the completionists out there who want to finish the series. And I know I am in the minority on my feelings with this book. If you want a STEAMY second chance romcom, and miscommunication is not a dealbreaker for you, then I'd recommend.

This second chance, friends to lovers LGBTQIA+ novel was right up my alley. I feel like Alexandria Bellefleur's books are constantly getting better. I loved the wedding planning aspect and the blast from the past!

This second chance friends to lovers romance was no less than *chef's kiss* perfection. I picked it up in January and I read it all over again during release week. I can’t recommend this one enough.

I really enjoyed the first two books in this series and was excited to get this book. It took me a while to get into reading. It didn't grab me like the first two books did. I think I had a hard time connecting with Margot as a romantic character because I adore her as the friend character.

Margot's friend is getting married and she's the best woman. Her other best friend is engaged. They're all planning couples activities and everything they talk about is about their weddings/relationships. She's feeling like the 5th wheel and doesn't know where she stands. But, she's tough, and won't let anyone know she's unsure or feeling anxious. After all, her best friend from high school abandoned her after a passionate week together and she hasn't really recovered.

Enter Olivia. The best friend from high school and Margot's friend's new wedding planner. In very short order Olivia is moving in with Margot and they're trying to be friends again. Olivia is coming off of a divorce and finding her way after caring for her dad after a heart attack. The close proximity brings up feelings that never got resolved.

It was cute and I'm really glad to see Margot find happiness. It was nice to see the characters from previous books and how their relationships progressed. I'm glad I read this book but it wasn't my favorite in the series.

A delightful book full of adventure, action, and thrills. Fun to read, engrossing world building, and very descriptive imagery made it feel like it was cinematic. It's hard to resist the story as it drives forward. Would recommend.

As always, an entertaining and satisfying rom-com from Alexandria Bellefleur. I am so in love with this series, although I have to say that this entry was probably my least favorite of the bunch so far. That being said, I still enjoyed it quite a bit. I think Alexandria Bellefleur is writing some of the best contemporary romance out there right now. Definitely purchased for my library as we are continuing with supporting this series. I will most likely be willing to purchase most books from Bellefleur in the future. And I certainly enjoy reading them!

Honestly, I don't have much to say about this book. This series started off decent. Just decent. Not bad, because it was still cute, had some good plot twists. But not great. The first book was the best in that the writing was new to my brain and I thought well I can't call the first book by this author basic because that's not fair. But then the second book came and it was just so stereotypical "I used to think of you as a friend, but now I love you" trope that it was gag-worthy. Well, some points were cute enough to gag in a good way. And then there's this one. I couldn't tell you half of what happened in this, it honestly felt so fluffy.

So the characters. They were…fine. Margot is fine, I like her I guess. Olivia was kind of annoying. Honestly, I'd be happy with a book about just Brendan and Darcy.

This review is turning into a why I dislike this book so let me get into actually why. Pacing! Goodness, it was a roller coaster of nothing. It felt so so fast at some points and so so slow at others. I think the progression is what truly ruined this book for me. It honestly felt like their relationship rekindled too fast, like I understand that they have history together in the past and that they literally were together, but I think if characters are going to get together so fast with only a few hiccups, what's the point of writing the book, ya know?

Honestly, that's all I can write about this, this was a whole lot of nothing but hey, I got one arc review done, only like eight more to go…

Though she is beyond thrilled that her friends have found love, she can't help but feel like the proverbial fifth wheel and fears that she will get left behind as her friends move on towards wedded bliss. Enter Olivia, Margot's best friend from childhood and the first person she ever loved.

Margot and Olivia's drifted apart, however, after one blissful week senior year and haven't spoken in over 11 years. But when Olivia is hired as the wedding planner for the wedding of one of Margot's best friends, it's hard to deny the feelings that still linger beneath the surface.

Alexandria Bellefleur is, by far, one of the best romance writers I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Opening one of her books is like walking through the gates of Disneyworld - full of bright-eyed wonder and anticipation of the thrills to come - only with lots of lingering looks, smoldering chemistry, and sex (lots and lots of steamy sex!)

Honestly, this book was a beautiful conclusion to the Written in the Stars series and I am so happy that everyone gets their HEAs.

I knew I would love this because I love all of Alexandria Bellefleur's other books. She is an auto buy author for me, so I couldn't wait to hop into the story of Margot.

It wasn't my favorite of the series since I normally don't like second chance romances, but it was still good!

This can be read as a stand alone, but it definitely is more enjoyable if you've read the other two first.

This book felt just okay. I did not connect with the main character Olivia, and felt that the relationship was just not for me. Count Your Lucky Stars definitely had some funny moments that made me laugh out loud. Overall, if you are looking for a fun romance with the second chance love trope, this is for you! There was a bit of millennial language that took me out of the book, so maybe this author is just not for me!

This series from Alexandria Bellefleur is proving to be one of my most favorite romance book series, especially after reading this book!

I’ve loved Margot from the start and I just knew I’d love her more when I read her own book. And then we both fell in love with Olivia.

Margot is sure that long-term relationships just aren't for her. Been there. Blew through the tissue box. Wrote the novel. Done that. All her friends found their life mate, and that makes social gatherings a bit awkward now, but it's fine, really. Even the wedding planning she's invited along to with her friends, that's cool. Well, it was, until Olivia, her long lost childhood friend, happens to be a wedding planner they run into. Margot and Olivia's first relationship didn't go so well, and Olivia has since been married and divorced. Margot thinks Olivia is still as much a beautiful goddess as ever, and opportunity knocks when Olivia is stranded with nowhere to go. Margot is happy to offer up a spare room, but even though she and Olivia are getting along swimmingly, and sparks are flying between them, is Olivia what she really wants? When their first voyage into the unknown was capsized, are they fated to be lost at sea once more, or will the stars guide them to a brighter future than they could ever have hoped for?

I've followed the stars all the way to the end of the Written in the Stars trilogy, and what have I found? A trio of excellent stories about love, friendship, hardship, communication, and the self. Margot and Olivia make a fun and interesting second chance pairing, with Margot being the prickly pear, and Olivia being really sweet. Margot is rough around the edges partially because she has a difficult time trusting, which I understand, and that along with other factors compounds into miscommunication along the way. While this story can be read as a standalone, I think that readers who've partaken of the first two entries will have plenty to enjoy, with Brendon, Elle, and other favorites returning for their part in Margot and Olivia's story.

Margot and Olivia have the opportunity for a second chance, but giving somebody you used to love a second chance is difficult, no? Margot asks a lot of Olivia, and I understand why, but in the end, love is all about taking that uncertain leap in hopes of landing together on your feet. Their intimate scenes are rather spicy, so don't expect anything closed door about their romance. Count Your Lucky Stars is the story of two girls who fell out of love doing their best to find each other again, and I'm counting my own lucky stars for having the pleasure of enjoying this story and these characters across an entire trilogy. Recommended for readers who believe in second chances, enjoy romance between disparate personalities, enjoy sapphic romance, and fans of this friend group's previous two stories, which I also recommend.

This might have been my favorite of the series. I loved the friendships built throughout the series and I really enjoyed Margot and Olivia's second chance romance.

Count Your Lucky Stars is the third book in the Written in the Stars series. This one follows Margot and her long lost first love, Olivia. I enjoyed this book, and I've loved Margot from the start of the series, but something about it just felt off. It didn't have quite the magic of the other two and I honestly felt like Olivia and Margot didn't have the same chemistry as the other couples have. The middle dragged a little bit for me, but overall, I still enjoyed the book a lot and always love continuing series.

I think this might be my favorite Written in the Stars book. I'm a sucker for a good friends-to-lovers trope, and the fact that the friends in this instance have reunited after years apart due to a misunderstanding made the story that much sweeter, in my opinion. Margot and Olivia had excellent chemistry and I appreciated that they generally approached misunderstandings and miscommunication with maturity. Of course there is still conflict, but it felt more relatable and realistic to me and I liked that they talked about where they were coming from and why things were important to them. They felt like three-dimensional characters and I was rooting for them the whole time. As with the other books in the series, this was a sweet, enjoyable read, but it didn't completely blow me away. It dragged at a couple of points and I wish Margot had communicated with her friends more, but I did still like it overall.

This was a very fun sapphic romance and I loved Margot and Olivia together. While I haven't read the previous books, it didn't hinder my enjoyment in anyway. I'm curious about the couples though as I loved Margot's friend circle.

Margot and Olivia have amazing chemistry from the minute they meet again. They both have their own demons to work through while falling hard for each other. I also loved the relationship between Olivia and her dad.

There is very little angst which was centered around miscommunication and surprisingly I wasn't as annoyed as I usually am. Favourite character of the book is of course Cat the cat, truly stole the show!

Honestly I have never read the Great Gatsby or even seen the movie. All I know about it is that it’s vaguely homosexual, took place in the 1920s, and everything was suffused in gold. Also I think someone dies and the green light is a big symbol. So, I can’t really tell you if WILD AND WICKED THINGS feels Great Gatsby-ish.

However. It is:
- full of magic
- sapphic
- Really, really vivid
- Prohibition based on magic instead of alcohol (I’ve never loved anything more???)

I can’t wait to read it in hardcover, sipping tea by a fireplace; the cover art is gorgeous, and the hardcover just looks really really good. I want to read it all over again for the first time. It’s a really eerie book and the vibes. The Vibes Are Immaculate.
