I absolutely loved Written in the Stars and I was so excited to get an eARC of this copy. As always, this is my unbiased review of this book.

One of the things that I really enjoyed in Written in the Stars were the characters and I’m very happy that that’s apparently just a thing with Bellefleur. I just genuinely enjoy the characters that she writes. I love Olivia and Margot. They’re both absolute sweethearts who just need to talk about things. I really feel for both of these characters. Their insecurities and problems hurt. I love Margot, she’s so charming, but her fear of being left was so palpable. I just wanted her friends to reassure her that they would still be there. Olivia is a bit standoffish at times, but she’s also such a nice character. It is so clear that she loves her job and just wants everyone to be happy.

Something that I absolutely adored in this book is the back and forth between Margot and Olivia. Their flirting was absolutely adorable but also had really nice chemistry. It was fun and flirty and hot. I absolutely loved their connection, for the most part. I mention it later on, but eventually I kind of just became “eh” about their relationship. Even then though, I still loved when they flirted. It was good!

I love the plot of this book. The fact that they had something (kind of) and then didn’t and then Olivia left and then they meet again and Margot pretty much stumbles into offering a room to Olivia. It was so amazing! I’m not always a fan of miscommunication that causes angst, but this one I enjoyed. The reasons behind the miscommunication made sense especially considering their ages at the time.

I think I’m going to need to reread this book at some point. Mainly because partway through the book I became kind of “eh” about the main characters getting together and I’m not sure if I just wasn’t in the mood for it at the time or if it was something else. Since that’s the reason keeping me from gifting it 5 stars, it feels imperative to determine what caused it.

This was a really enjoyable read. I loved the two characters whether they were together or apart. I absolutely loved their flirting, it was hot and adorable. The plot was well-paced and I loved how the past between the two characters was revealed to the readers. This book was basically exactly what I wanted. It was cute with a good amount of angst that didn’t feel too angsty. It was such a good story. I had a slight issue with remaining invested in the book, but that could definitely just be a personal thing for me.

Bellefleur's writing is like candy and I'm convinced her books just continue to get better as they go along. I really love Margot's character (and really relate to her dissatisfaction with being a perpetual fifth wheel) and I loved seeing her love story. The way Bellefleur writes relationships (romantic, platonic, siblings) is everything to me--so dynamic and sweet. Her dialogue is incredible. This book is probably my favorite of the series because I loved seeing the excitement of Brendon and Annie's wedding and getting more peeks into theirs and Elle and Darcy's relationship amongst Olivia and Margot's romance. The romance tropes in this book were TOP NOTCH. I was squealing so much. Definitely a new favorite romance!

Wow. What an amazing trilogy full of steamy romance and incredible friendship. Alexandria Bellefleur returns with the end of her debut series. Darcy and Ellie had their terrible first date, Brenden and Annie had their Ferris wheel. Now it's Margot's turn.

Brenden and Annie plan for their upcoming wedding, and Olivia is an upcoming event planner ready to take on the challenge, except she has a history with Margot. Over a decade ago, they had a whirlwind romance over spring break, but Olivia had gone back to her ex, and Margot has kept her heart like a stone since then. Now roommates (and they were roommates!) with the wedding around the corner, Margot and Olivia must reconcile with their past if they want a future together.

Bellefleur shows how love and friendship can transform someone. Margot's caustic narration slowly softens throughout the story, confronting her fears of her friends changing and moving on with their lives as she struggles to find her own happiness. Similarly, Olivia learns to be less selfless as she steps away from her ex-husband. It's warming to see Margot open her heart, showing all of the layers that make up her loud personality. Parts of her childhood are revealed, as well as comedic cameos from her family. We've seen Margot as Brenden and Ellie's best friend and coworker, but to see her as a protagonist is so satisfying. All of her messiness and pride are on full display, especially her character development!

Of course, there is also so much more to love – baking shenanigans, a cat named cat, callbacks to the previous books – that this book is near-impossible to put down.

Another great queer rom-com to add to your shelf!

Listen, this whole series is just completely excellent the entire way through. Just when you think that each couple is going to be your favorite, the next book happens, and then THESE TWO are your favorites. It's amazing. It's contemporary romance at its best (and queerest!) It's fun and heartfelt and nuanced - and, above all, just incredibly emotionally satisfying.

This whole series, begining to end, is the best of classic rom-coms, but for modern audience. Better yet, this is everything I ever loved about long-time faves like Bridget Jones Diaries or Love Actually, but this time I can ACTUALLY see myself in the story as the kind of person who gets a happy ending. This is queer lady hope made tangible, and I loved every second of it.

I am very happy that Margot got her own book, because I've been hoping to see her story for a while! I also really appreciate the way this particular second-chance romance was handled. It felt very real, particularly the main point of conflict felt by Olivia. If you loved the rest of the books of this series, then Count Your Lucky Stars definitely won't disappoint. And if you're a fan of Ali Hazelwood or Talia Hibbert definitely give this one a try!

This book was about Margot and Olivia and the third in the series. I enjoyed the story line and the friendships between all the characters. The way the figured out their relationship and the growth of the characters was really great. I do love love and I usually don't mind open door romances but this one was a bit much in the steamy scenes.

The third book in the Written in the Stars Series, Count Your Lucky Stars finally gives us Margot's love story. It was great to finally get more background on this lovable, grouchy character. Olivia was such a wonderful sunshine to Margot's grump!

Olivia joins the other cast of characters in Seattle following her divorce from her high school sweetheart. She is working in her dream job as an event and wedding planner. Her latest wedding is for Brandon and Annie (from Hang the Moon) in which Margot is the Best Woman. Olivia is also, of course, Margot's childhood best friend turned lover for one hot week during their senior year. When Margot saw Olivia run back to her on-again, off-again boyfriend they cut ties for the next 11 years before running into each other in Seattle. When an accident happens making Olivia's apartment unlivable, she moves in to Margot's spare room.

OK, forced proximity is one of my favorite tropes because it usually adds tons of tension between the characters. While this was a facet of the story, it didn't really add the tension I would expect. Mainly, this was because the plot was moving along so fast there wasn't that much time that they were forced to be together.

This was a cute, fun addition to the series, although I don't think it was the strongest of the three. I thought Margot's family, especially the dynamic with her brothers, was so fun, I wish we had seen more of that. The story was a bit predictable, but some people really like that!

While Hang the Moon still stands as my favorite book in this series, County Your Lucky Stars was a till a super fun and sweet F/F romance!

Alexandria Bellefleur has such a knack for creating such delightful chemistry and sexual tension! I absolutely adored these two heroines. Going into this though I knew I wouldn’t like this as much as the previous books in the series based on the tropes alone. I don’t tend to love second chance romances in general, but especially when miscommunication is the main reason that initially separate the couple in the first places. Regardless, I still found these characters incredibly endearing and relatable. I especially related to Margot’s struggles with watching her friends couple up and have “adult” lives while she’s stuck feeling stagnant. I also don’t usually love illustrated romance covers, but these covers are perfect and just keep getting cuter.

oh my heart. one of my favorite series and I absolutely love the romance, the friendships, the steam, and coming back to friends and characters we already love. definitely read this one

This author clearly just isn't for me. I DNFd Written in the stars at 80% and I'm DNFing Count your Lucky stars at 50%. I'm just not feeling it. The writing is kinda basic and the characters have no chemistry and I just don't care about what's happening.

I wanted to love this book, but I never got there. A second-chance romance, one of the characters was a wedding planner, and it was set in Seattle. These should have been winning factors for me, but I never fell in love..

I read the first book in this series, "Written in the Stars" and it was solid. I actually didn't end up reading the second book, "Hang the Moon" since I wasn't smitten by the first. Came back to give this third book a chance and I'm still left "meh" about the series. I enjoyed the writing in "Count Your Lucky Stars" and it's witty banter. Although a lot of headaches could have been avoided with simple communication throughout this book. This is more of a 3.5 rounded up to 4 stars read.

Overall, I didn't love this book but will look to still read other books by Alexandria Bellefleur moving forward.

I liked both characters, but the communication issues between these two felt dragged out past the point that it made any sense. Just be happy already!

I feel like this was like a 4.5 stars, it was definitely my favorite of the bunch. Part of that is because i felt very seen but also attacked by the appearance of a Libra character. As always with Bellefleur's work I love not only the romance presented but the important conversations about friendship and adulthood. I also enjoy that the relationship doesn't have some out of left field issue towards the end, its refreshing to get realistic situations and discussions. But the chemistry was off the charts and this was such a cute relationship!

How does this author just keep getting better and better? I loved this book so much!! The two MCs were amazing, I loved the banter and I loved the side characters. At this point, I will read anything Bellefleur writes.

A delightful, relatable, sexy rom-com! I first knew I would fall in love with Margot when she was in the first book (Written in the Stars) and I'm so happy to have finally read her story! She's such a wonderful, sarcastic, honest, blunt, feeling friend and has so many damn layers to her. I want her to be my best friend! And Liv was a great counterpart for her; forcing Margot to admit things she wanted to cover up, encouraging Margot's soft side, but also letting her be a bratty dom when she needed to be.

The lead up to the reunion of these two - so like the first 4 chapters - were so rom-commy and wild and you could definitely roll your eyes at it. But I've read more unrealistic meet ups and set ups than this for sure. Their third act drama is also very frustrating, because we had spent a lot of time with these 2 characters miscommunicating & making assumptions, but it's also understandable why they (mostly Liv) acted in the frustrating way she did.

The spicey scenes were so damn sexy. Margot & Liv had such obvious chemistry and played so well together, it was so hot to read!

So if you go into this knowing some very cheesy/unbelievable moments will happen (again, hi it's a rom-com) I think you will have an absolute blast reading it.

Help, I have fallen into an Alexandria Bellefleur rabbit hole and I don't want to come out. She puts something extraordinary things into her books and I can't get enough.

As expected, Alexandria has given us a well-rounded story with lovable characters and some good steamy scenes. I love a good sapphic relationship and was really happy with how this was represented in the book. I really love the second chance romance in this book, I thought it was refreshing to see this trope in a couple that is on the younger side of what you'd expect in this trope.

Some of the more millennial jokes didn't land as well as I would have wanted for myself, they aren't a deal-breaker. The miscommunication trope is hit and miss for me. I think it was navigated well for the most part, but if this is something you really dislike, maybe consider that before heading into this book.

The action of the book was really well-paced and if you are looking for a fun romance book, this is the one for you. I do recommend reading the other books in the series first, but it isn't necessarily needed.

I was nervous going into this book. I loved the first book in the Written in the Stars series, but was not a fan of the second book in

Honestly this is my favorite in the Written in the Stars series. Margot has been my favorite character since book one and I love that this book focuses on her story.

My event-planning heart swelled meeting Olivia - I related to her alot being so meticulous and organized as she is. I also related to Margot when she was feeling like the fifth wheel in her friend group.

What Worked for me:
-Margot. I loved finally getting her POV on things and I laughed so much at her internal monologues
-the rest of the characters - I love this group so much and I feel like I’m part of the gang when I read these books. My friends and I love game nights as much as this crew does.


What Didn’t Work for me:
-miscommunication trope

Well Bellefleur did it again! This book was amazing. It was steamy, funny, and heartfelt. Really all the things you want in a romance.

I loved the characters. Olivia was a little annoying at times but I mean I get it I overreact sometimes also. We all do.

Bellefleur just writes these stories so well that you pick them up and don't want to put them down. So they are a breeze to read.

I would recommend this to anyone. And I can't wait to read Bellefleur's next book.

Margot and Olivia are childhood best friends turned lovers turned strangers turned friends again! I loved the balance between humor and seriousness but absolutely hated all the miscommunication! It was great getting glimpses of the characters from the previous books and getting to celebrate a wedding with them! Margot was my favorite character from the previous books so I loved getting to read a book just on her! I was really happy with the epilogue because it summed up everyone's story perfectly!

I think this book was my favorite of the bunch!
