I truly enjoy a good Amish story on occasion, and this one did not disappoint. It was an easy read that allowed the reader to enter the story and just fall back into an easier time. I enjoyed the story line about an amish woman who was very sensitive about a birthmark on her cheek. She had a neighbor who she formed a close friendship with, and this started a very sweet romance. I will continue to seek more stories by this author. She did a wonderful job with her character development and descriptions. I also enjoyed this story as an audible book.

Mindy Steele is a new-to-me author, but I will be returning to read some of her other Amish-based books. I was attracted to this book because of all the sunflowers on the cover which are my most favorite flower!! The story itself is what kept me turning the page and rooting for Belinda and Adam throughout.

An Amish Flower Farm is a sweet Amish romance. Belinda Graber is a beautiful woman and wants to sell her flowers at the Amish marketplace, but she has a birthmark on her cheek that stops her from leaving the farm. Beekeeper, Adam Hostetler, lives next store to the Graber’s fields. Recently his father was injured, leaving Adam to find work at the local mill. Working at the mill doesn’t leave Adam much time to harvest his honey. Belinda and Adam strike up a deal to help each other out. Belinda will tend to Adam’s hives and he will sell her flowers in the marketplace......and that is where this heartwarming story begins.

This was a wonderful feel-good listen and I really enjoyed the narrator’s style. I highly recommend this one!

A great story. It is a story that you would expect if you are reading an Amish love story. Nice and light hearted. Hopefully there will be more stories about the brother and sister.

I did enjoy this book very much, I am always in for a good Amish read now and again. I like the way Belinda and Adam forged their partnership and in time found love with each other.

I listed to this book and I did enjoy the narrator. She did a good job with the different voices.

The cover threw me a little bit. I got the farm setting and the sunflowers as she wanted a flower farm. But the dress was wrong as that is the color they said brought out the color in Tabitha's eyes. Also the model they used looks to be in her 40's rather than in her early 20's.

Other than that, I enjoyed the book very much and look forward to reading more my Ms. Steele.

I enjoyed the growth in Belinda as she learned to trust and come out of her shell. Adam is slow and steady and determined to win her heart. I love how he tenderly cares for Belinda and draws her out. It was also comical how stressed he became about Belinda and the bees. Sometimes, it is the little things that communicate love and care for someone else. Once she was able to receive and understand why he treated her differently it was a new start for her. The family dynamics and loyalty are enduring. All in all, a genuinely sweet tale of first love that grows out of day-to-day interactions. I think the narrator did a good job with accent nuances and handled male and female voices well.

I received a complimentary copy, with thanks, from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions expressed are solely my own and freely given.

Hallmark Publishing says sweet romance to me, and An Amish Flower Farm is among the sweetest. Performed by Rebecca Gallagher, the audio version drew me in, and kept me rooting for Belinda and Adam.

Belinda Graber has always felt ugly because of the birthmark on her cheek. She hates being stared at and teased, so she does everything she can to be invisible. Her main joy in life comes from growing her flowers, and she dreams of having a large farm of blooms, however, actually going to town and selling them is beyond her capabilities.

Adam Fisher fell hard for his neighbor girl when he was just a young boy but he could never get up the nerve to actually talk to her. He loves his profession of beekeeping and dreams of having 100 hives, but when his father is injured at work and Adam needs to take on the support of the whole family, he barely has time to sleep. As the honey harvest nears, Adam realizes he needs help. He knows his neighbors have helped with hives before, but when Belinda's brother Micah volunteers her to be the one to help Adam, neither one sees how it will ever work.

Can Belinda prove to Adam that he can trust her with his hives? Can Adam show Belinda that sometimes people stare for good reasons? Neither is looking for a "special friend", but will that matter when their hearts get involved?

I liked Adam a lot in this story. He has a highly developed sense of duty to his family, but his heart is so gentle with Belinda's insecurities. He doesn't understand at all when she talks about how ugly she thinks her birthmark makes her. To him, it's a strawberry kiss, and only adds to her beauty. When Belinda finally starts peeking out of her shell, she turns her world on end.

Readers who love a good Amish romance will enjoy Mindy Steele's "An Amish Flower Farm." If you enjoy listening to books either while you walk for exercise, or while you clean house, this one makes an excellent diversion. Rebecca Gallagher brought each character to life, and kept the book moving along nicely. I definitely recommend.

Belinda Graber loves tending to her flowers and dreams of having a flower farm in her Amish community. However, she could never go into the local town to sell those flowers – she doesn't want people staring at the birthmark on her cheek. The Grabers' neighbor, Adam Fisher, is working multiple jobs to support his family while his dad recovers from an accident. His bees are suffering from his lack of time to care for them, however. Adam and Belinda make a deal – she will help tend to his bees, and he will sell her flowers when he goes into town each day to work. The more they get to know each other through their partnership, the more they realize how good they could be together.

This was a sweet Amish story. It's easy to see why Belinda fell in love with Adam! I loved the last scene of the book. Rebecca Gallagher did a great job narrating the audiobook. It seemed like this book was setting up a trilogy, with the second and third books to follow Belinda's sister and brother. If so, I look forward to reading their books as well!

Many thanks to NetGalley for providing me an audio ARC of this book.

I enjoyed this book and the storyline but I didn’t thoroughly enjoy the narration. I’m not sure if it was the voice of the narrator or how the characters were written in the book but they seemed very very young. The book was supposed to be about and Amish woman and man in their mid twenties though the characters seemed like they were under the age of 18 with the way they spoke and acted. I of course enjoyed the overall story and light hearted romance of a typical Hallmark story, but this wasn’t up to par with many others I have read.

An Amish Flower Farm
An uplifting romance from Hallmark Publishing
by Mindy Steele, Hallmark Publishing
Narrated by Rebecca Gallagher

I received an audiobook arc from NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first time reading a book by this author and actually my first time reading an Amish romance ever. My mother in law is a huge fan of Amish romances so I wanted to check it out as her birthday is approaching. I was about 1/3 of the way through listening when I went ahead and ordered the book for her. It was that good! 😊

This is a heartwarming story that centers on learning to value what is truly important in a partner - honesty, integrity, sincerity, a good work ethic, a willingness to help others in need and to think of what others need.

While this was a culture I was minimally familiar with the descriptions were vivid, easily accessible and relatable. I love when a book incorporates food and nature in such a way that the reader can almost smell and taste what is described in the scene. This was definitely the case with this experience.

The narration and sound quality were superb.

This was a sweet, wholesome, comforting read without being too corny or cheesy. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m sure my mother in law will too! 5/5

An Amish Flower Farm by Mindy Steele

What a beautiful and uplifting romance!!

Belinda Graber is a lovely person inside and out. She’s very shy and self conscious after being bullied when she was younger because of a birthmark on her cheek.

Belinda loves flowers! She dreams of growing lots of flowers and selling them! But being shy makes it very hard for her to approach people to accomplish the goal of selling them.

Adam Hostetler has been working extra jobs to help support his family after his Dad had a work accident. Leaving him little time to tend to his bees.

After learning Belinda helped her grandfather with his honey harvest and not finding anyone else to help him, he approaches Belinda for help.

They decide to help each other! Belinda will help harvest the honey from his bees if he helps her find buyers to sell her flowers!!

Adam has always been attracted to Belinda.

Will they keep a strict business relationship or will it ‘bud’/‘buzz’ into something more?!

What a lovely feel good listen! I was attracted to the cover and title! I myself, absolutely love flowers!! I found myself cheering for both Belinda and Adam the entire story! I was kept interested the entire story! Great read!!

I also really enjoyed the narrator!!

Thank you Mindy Steele, Hallmark Publishing and NetGalley for the audio to listen to this book in return for my honest review!

A wholesome tale focusing on the Amish. Belinda Graber is a beautiful woman inside and out. She is a caring woman who is shy after being bullied as a child because of a port wine birthmark on her check. Belinda wants to sell the flowers she grows, but she is unable to approach people to accomplish her goal. Adam Hostetler has been working extra jobs since his father had a work accident. It leaves him little time to harvest his honey. Adam learns that Belinda helped her grandfather with his honey harvest in Kentucky. He approaches Belinda who suggests they help each other. Belinda will help Adam with his honey harvest if Adam finds buyers for her flowers. Adam has been attracted to Belinda since they were in school. He still finds her lovely, but, after a recent disastrous courtship, Adams is determined that they will just have a business relationship. I like that the story is told from Belinda and Adam’s point-of-view. We get to see things from each of their perspectives (it is amazing how different their view can be on the same situation. There are some good life lessons in this charming story about fear, perceptions, wasting time, helping others, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The characters are sweet funny and I really enjoyed the personalities that were built by the author. The bees and the flowers are even brought forth as characters in my opinion and the romance between the bees and flowers is evident as well as how a romance can bloom amongst people. The community and coming together that is reflected in the story and is present in many Amish communities is something that today's society could reinvigorate in order to build stronger ties amongst neighbors and friends. An Amish Flower Farm is the perfect blend of romance, Amish culture, and faith in God and nature.

I received this book through Net Galley and the Hallmark Publishing, and was not required to give a positive review.

Really like the Amish old world ways and the twist of German destiny. A pleasant story so far only hearing the first chapter, I would read the rest when it's available.

Oh my goodness! I enjoyed this story so much! This is the first book that I have read by this author and I definitely look forward to reading more books written by her. For this novel, I actually listened to the audio book version and thoroughly enjoyed the narrator, as well. She did a good job of differentiating voices so that I could tell the differences between who was speaking. She did both the male and female voices very nicely.

This story was beautiful and I loved listening as Belinda began to feel more comfortable around Adam. Her abilities with the bees was something special and I enjoyed the conversations that Adam and Belinda had about flowers and bees.

An Amish Flower Farm touches on self image and the way bullying can affect a person’s self esteem. It also shows the importance of a strong family unit and the benefits of knowing that your family loves you.

It took Adam awhile to realize that he could have a happy and fulfilling life with Belinda, even though his pride had been previously hurt by another woman. And Belinda believed no one would want her as a wife. I enjoyed the emotional journeys that both of these characters were on and watching them discover their happily ever after together.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

This is a super sweet Clean Amish Romance. I listen to the audiobook of this book while I drove 8 hours to my Grandmother house today. I really enjoyed this audiobook, and the narrator was good. This book is all about a super shy Amish young woman meets an Amish young man that is a beekeeper. This story pulled me in so fast and it kept me wanting to keep listening. I have to say I loved the characters in this book, but there was points that I felt the story was moving to slow. The ending was so sweet and cute. I feel if you enjoy Amish books then you should really enjoy this book. I also think the cover of this book is way to cute, and I wish I had a field of Sunflowers. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Hallmark Publishing) or author (Mindy Steele) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.
