Wedding crashing!! I LOVED this book! It had me laughing, sighing in exasperation, then contentment. So much emotion, such good writing. Loved the characters and storyline. I was invested. The friendships and family in this book were heartwarming. A lovely book that cleansed my palate before delving back into darker reads. This is definitely a favorite read of mine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely five stars! Truly one of the best and most romantic books that I have ever read. It was filled with raw emotions, healing and growth, lovable characters, small town and fantastic family and friends. I was completely transported to the ranch and my heart broke for Maverick and Kennedy and the situations. I highly recommend this book and hope there is more of this town and family.

New to me author but definitely won't be last. Thoroughly enjoyed this story. Thanks Netgalley and to the publisher for letting me read this advance copy.

I enjoyed this read. It was fun to read about two people who had driven each other crazy and be able to pick that up from the reading. Sometimes it's just said, but then you don't get a feel for it, but this book delivered in the banter and playfulness. I really enjoyed the development between the two main characters and also the community. My only complaint is that the count down to the wedding under the chapters was slightly distracting.

The blurb of this one really intrigued me...the idea that she was a good enough friend (ex? something?) to crash a wedding in case that was necessary...although it turns out to not be really necessary.

Kennedy and Maverick had a great connection and I think, even though the wedding crashing idea seemed cute in the blurb, it actually interfered with the story development for me, as it seemed more contrived than necessary, especially after they were re-introduced.

That said, I did enjoy the book overall, and I do recommend it.

The Wedding Crasher and the Cowboy definitely full of love and laughter in a way that is well just heartwarming by Robin Bielman. I loved seeing that Kennedy has a way of bringing Maverick out of his shell in a way that well no one has seen in a long time. Reading about the heartache and pain that Maverick has in him is well heartbreaking because you can tell he is a man that wants to love. Seeing these two together they bring out something missing from one another. Maverick brings out the guttsiness in Kennedy she never knew she had and she brings out the risk taker in him. All in all these two are beautiful together and loved seeing Robin Bielman bring the magic to life with these two.

My, oh my - where do I even start with this book? I loved this book from beginning to end and I really want to read about more people in this quaint little town.

Kennedy & Maverick knew each other in college as rivals - she was headed to medical school and he was going to veterinary school. But their undergrad years were spent competing against each other as thorns in each other’s sides.

Fast forward a few years and Kennedy runs until Maverick on his family’s ranch that is hosting an upcoming wedding. Kennedy is crashing the wedding of her ex-boyfriend because she feels he needs her after he drunk called her from his bachelor party full of doubts about the wedding.

Seeing each other again is not good for either Kennedy or Maverick. They both have dark secrets that have made them the way they are about relationships, but they finally decided to just live in the moment for their one week together. There is the usual misunderstandings, miscommunications, but also so much heart warming thoughts / words that happen in this book. It is sweet, entertaining and just downright enjoyable.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

I’m really hoping that The Wedding Crasher and The Cowboy is a peek into a series (one day) because it felt like a series starter, there are several people that I would love to see how life treats them romantically down the road. So, yeah, I’m keeping fingers crossed that we’ll return to Maverick’s family ranch one day for more adventures. But in the meantime…

Kennedy and Maverick deliver a delightful enemies-to-lovers romance with banter, and sassiness, along with touches of real-life losses, grief, and choices made. To be fair, it took me a minute to warm up to the main characters who immediately take up their college adversary roles upon meeting once again. And like any good story, we the readers, don’t know all the details just yet and as they begin to emerge, well, The Wedding Crasher and The Cowboy takes off with a romance that surprises no one but these two, and the chance to enjoy some of the funniest shenanigans I’ve seen a side-kick (BFF) pull off for a while. I adored Andrew and if for no other reason than to see what he’s up to now, I would love to return to this world one day.

Without giving away spoilers, Maverick and Kennedy’s romance is full of laughter, mixed signals, new roles for each other, and the chance for finding that lifetime love if they’ll only take the risk. I had such fun with their story, and if you love a good enemies-to-lovers romance then you’ll want to check out The Wedding Crasher and The Cowboy soon.

This was a very enjoyable read. Kennedy is a fun, adventurous, kind, beautiful heroine who is fun to follow. Her best friend, Andrew, sounds like someone I would want to hang around. Maverick is the perfect counter for her as he’s got many layers, pushes her out of her comfort zone, & has a past with her. The rest of the characters are good for fleshing out the story. Highly recommend this book if you’re looking for a fun romance!

This was a good read. Kennedy is worried about a past love tying the knot. So she decides to crash the wedding, meets a man and the rest is history. The past somehow always meets up with the future.

I loved the enemies to lovers theme of The Wedding Crasher and the Cowboy. Dr Kennedy Martin crashes her friend Reed’s wedding after receiving a drunken phone call from him in which he expresses doubts about getting married. She’s concerned that he may not be doing the right thing and crashes his wedding in order to talk to him and find out where he stands. Maverick Owens just happens to be a member of the family that owns the ranch where the wedding is taking place and from the moment these two see each other again, the first time since they were in college together seven years earlier and constantly competing with each other for top marks.
The characters and dialogue in this story sparkle. Kennedy and Maverick always seem to have the right retort when one or the other says something. Meanwhile, Andrew, Kennedy’s best friend, comes close to stealing the show which the fake characters he makes up and the associated stories he tells to wedding guests.
This story is a romantic comedy and it works well in that genre, though it has its bittersweet and tender moments too. It sucked me in, brought tears to my eyes once or twice and had me laughing and smiling at others. All in all it’s been a fabulous read.

Kennedy Martin is an ambitious doctor who is preparing to interview for the job of her dreams when her ex suddenly calls expressing doubts about his upcoming wedding. The call ends abruptly and Kennedy can’t reach her ex, so she decides to crash his wedding. Upon arrival Kennedy discovers her college nemesis, Maverick Owens, lives nearby. Maverick immediately intuits that Kennedy was not invited to the wedding and is up to no good. Maverick decides to keep an eye on Kennedy. What follows is an extremely entertaining series of events that leads Kennedy and Maverick to discover that they may not still be enemies after all.

I almost didn’t read this book because I found the title off-putting and worried the book would be a cheesy and terrible romance novel. If you’re in the same boat, don’t let that stop you from reading this one – it’s a very good story. This was one of those books that I looked forward to reading at the end of a long workday. Our main characters are both grappling with serious emotional and life issues, they are both exceptionally likeable and the book has just the right amount of lighthearted banter and escapades to make this a very solid, feel-good story. The friendships in the book are also great – I found myself wishing I could find my own Andrew to count on, no matter what. This was a great read, and I was sad when it ended.

This was a cute (mostly) light book. Even though it definitely dealt with some heavy issues, it still felt like a light, breezy romance. I thought both main characters were very likeable, although I was a bit annoyed about the female main character being so petite, and being repeatedly described as such. I enjoyed the maturity of both characters, that there weren’t any major silly misunderstandings that can be super annoying in stories like this (and I don’t count the letter Kennedy found and got upset about). I was routing for the characters to have a happy ending, but didn’t have that feeling in my gut when they were together. So, this was not really a memorable story, but it was a fun read.

This book was a little bit more of an emotional punch than I expected but in a way that lended to the story perfectly. Kennedy and Maverick had great chemistry that, despite a majority of this book taking place in a week, lent to a fun and sexy romantic journey. Because these two have a past, it didn't feel like insta-love but rather a love in the works for years.

I absolutely reccommend this book to anyone who enjoys a great second chance/rivals to lovers romance with just the right touch of steam and emotion.

This story is more than just about a cowboy (Maverick) and A wedding crasher (Kennedy). They have a past, and fall right back into the banter. Kennedy is at a time in her life where she is in limbo and she has decisions to make. While Maverick is very settled. She ends up at his ranch as her ex called her and made her feel he needed her, so she is definately crashing his wedding. Not everything is as it seems though which also leaves her in a different sort of limbo.
I thought this was a well written story however for me it also had some slow parts, however I do recommend it.

The Wedding Crasher and the Cowboy by Robin Bielman is a fun story set in an amazing little town! Crashing a wedding is not what Kennedy usually does, but when her ex boyfriend has second thoughts while out drinking, and calls her, she has to help him.
Maverick is responsible for his ranch and when his old college "frenemy", Kennedy, shows up there, to stop a wedding he has to stop her.
Maverick and Kennedy used to antagonize each other in college but when they start spending time together, they find that they have more & more things in common. Their relationship is cute and fun, but it has a time limit. Kennedy has to go back to her life as an ER doctor and Maverick needs to move forward leaving his past behind.
I loved Maverick as a character. He is solid, caring and smart. He has lost his ex girlfriend in a tragic way but you can see how he slowly moves on. Kennedy is curious, funny and strong. The time they spend together and their dates are entertaining and sweet.
This was my first book that I have read from Robin Bielman and I am looking forward to reading more now!

The Wedding Crasher and the Cowboy was a surprisingly emotional romance. I was expecting a more light hearted enemies to lovers story, but it was so much more than that. Kennedy and Maverick both had some baggage from their past. Maverick's was heartbreaking. His letters to his former girlfriend were full of sadness and grief. The story takes place over a week, but the main characters went to college together and have some history. I was rooting for Maverick to realize he could open up his heart again.

The story also has some wonderful secondary characters. I loved Maverick's family, especially his brother Hunter. I would love to see him get a story. I also enjoyed Kennedy's sister Ava and best friend, Andrew. He was hilarious. I definitely recommend this one.
