The Wedding Crasher and the Cowboy is an enemies to lovers story between Kennedy and Maverick. Kennedy returns to her hometown to crash her ex-boyfriend's wedding but with a twist: it's convince him that he is marrying the RIGHT girl. Of course her former rival Maverick thinks otherwise, and makes things less than pleasant for Kennedy when she comes to town. The two are frequently thrown together by way of pre-wedding events, and soon sparks begin to fly.

I'm pretty sure Entangled Publishing is becoming one of my go-to favorites for books. I loved The Wedding Crasher and the Cowboy and could not get enough of this story. Enemies to lovers? Wedding crashers? Cowboys? Seriously, this book had just about everything. The dynamic between Kennedy and Maverick is so well-written and enjoyable to read. I especially enjoyed digging into Maverick's backstory and how it impacted his thoughts and actions. Add in the wedding crashers hijinks and the book becomes one solid story. The Wedding Crasher and the Cowboy is full of romance, humor, and drama, and I would definitely recommend this book. 4.5 stars.

Thanks to Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC for this ARC; this is my honest and voluntary review.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and all opinions are my own.
A fun and lighthearted romance to be read in one city. I liked the writing and the authors big emphasis on family.

This book was like a warm and cozy hug. It also reminded me of the film My best friends wedding. I enjoyed my time with the book so much, the relationship between Kennedy and Mavrick was adorable though I would have liked to see it develop more.

I found this an uplifting, feel good read. I loved the idyllic small town setting, the amusing banter and the fun secondary characters, such as the heroine’s best friend. There are some emotional moments, but it’s mostly a lighthearted romantic comedy. I’m not always keen on the enemies to lovers trope, but it works well here as the characters have so much chemistry.

I absolutely loved this story. A classic romance, a good old fashioned boy meets girl, boy teases girl, boy really likes girl but never tells her, story. Then years later fate brings them together and herein begins this lovely story. When city girl Kennedy Martin crashes her exe’s wedding (on a ranch no less) she doesn’t expect to buddy up with her college nemesis, Maverick Owens. Kennedy and Maverick have always shared both a personal, and an academic rivalry, so it’s surprising that years later they discover that they actually enjoy each other’s company, and they have chemistry and of course attraction. I love a small town romance, and this is as small town as they come. Everyone knows everyone else’s business. All in a good way, there’s no bad blood, no bitter family feuds, it’s all sweet and hunky dory. There is a little emotional drama in and amongst, a few secrets and untruths in the mix, but at the end of the day, it’s a really sweet, fun, highly enjoyable romance. I loved it.

The Wedding C and the Cowboy by R. Bielman, published by Entangled Amara, is a small town, enemies-to-lovers romance. I read the book, cover to cover in one sitting, literally unputdownable.
Kennedy Martin is about to crash her ex's wedding when she runs into the last man she ever wanted to meet again.
Maverick Owens, her college nemesis and now owner of the wedding destination gently überredet Kennedy to attend the wedding events at his side. Let the fun begin. A witty and fun, heartfelt and simply beautiful story that gives all the feels.

Kennedy agrees to help out at a wedding, but bumps into nemesis, Maverick. I love his nickname for her and the synergy between the two. It was sad to read his notes to his lost love, but he shouldn’t have just left them laying about. Kennedy has a good heart and is quickly taken with Maverick, even is she refuses to admit it. It’s a good romance, full of maneuvers and misunderstanding, but then what relationship is perfect.

When Kennedy’s gets a drunken call from her ex, days before his wedding with doubts, she doesn’t think twice before crashing his wedding to convince him that he’s with the right woman. What she doesn’t expect is to run into her college nemesis, Maverick.
When Maverick realizes Kennedy is not an invited guest, and might cause issues on the wedding happening at his family ranch, he decides to stick close and avoid that.
As they spend time together, they realize there might be more to them than animosity. With Maverick still coming to terms with a past issue and Kennedy planning to move to Boston, will they be able to have a future ?
This is a beautiful and heartwarming enemies to lovers story. Kennedy and Maverick were oh so cute and I just loved the banter between them, it was funny and romantic. The supporting characters were absolutely wonderful.
An emotional read that made me smile and shed a tear.

Emotional, heart-warming, and lovely, The Wedding Crasher and The Cowboy is a wonderful contemporary romance. The story follows Kennedy, who crashes her ex’s week-long wedding celebration after he calls and expresses doubt over his upcoming nuptials. While there, she runs into Maverick, her college rival, who is certain Kennedy has arrived to ruin the wedding. Kennedy is not pleased to see the infuriating yet handsome Maverick, and she’s having a hard time getting her ex alone to convince him to marry his wonderful fiancée. But, as Maverick and Kennedy spend more time together, they begin to see each other in a different light. Will these enemies give into their ever-growing feelings?

Kennedy and Maverick are both amazingly developed characters, and I became easily invested in their stories, both as an emerging couple and as individuals. They haven’t seen each other in years, and their lives have changed exponentially. Their journeys are difficult and emotional, and there are some really touching, heartfelt scenes as the pair confronts their pain and the obstacles in their life.

Of course, as much as I love their individual journeys, the budding romance between Maverick and Kennedy is my favorite part of the story! Maverick and Kennedy have wonderful chemistry. College rivals, the pair has a history, but as they slowly get to know each other again, they realize that they may have been too hasty in defining their relationship as a rivalry. They have so much fun together while horseback riding, canoeing, dancing, and they learn a lot about each other. I like that they both start to see that their relationship is more than just competitive enemies, and though their journey isn’t always easy, it is totally worth it. They challenge each other and push each other to be the best version of themselves. I also like that they both face their personal obstacles. They face their problems, even though they might be complicated and messy, and work toward finding happiness. They are a well-suited pair that complement each other well.

Minor characters, including Kennedy’s best friend and Maverick’s loving family, add so much to the story and show just how loved Kennedy and Maverick are. This is especially poignant considering Maverick’s tragic past and Kennedy’s unhealthy relationships with her family. Both find comfort and support in the people who surround them, and the characters are fantastic. Kennedy’s best friend is so funny and vibrant, and Maverick’s family are kind, funny, and loving – the exact opposite of Kennedy’s family. I think being on the family ranch, Kennedy sees the type of family she wishes she had, and I love how they welcome her into their fold.

I also liked the ranch and small-town setting. The peacefulness and friendliness of Maverick’s family and the townspeople is endearing and a perfect place for Kennedy and Maverick to get to know each other again. It is here where Kennedy experiences things that she never knew were missing from her life, and that feeling of belonging is something both she and Maverick benefit from. Maverick can be a bit closed off, but this is tough to do when surrounded by people who love you and care for you. From the quaint shops to the beautiful and majestic scenery, the setting is idyllic and charming and the perfect place to find the love of a lifetime.

I loved this story! It’s a wonderful and heartwarming contemporary romance about love, life, and second chances, and it’s the type of story that will make you laugh, cry, and swoon all in one sitting. It’s a well-paced, well-developed story with great dialogue and witty banter, and I highly recommend it to readers who like dynamic characters, charming settings, and a swoon-worthy love story. Thanks so much to NetGalley, Entangles Publishing, and Robin Bielman for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
