Thank you #Netgalley for the advance reader copy of Here Comes the Fudge by Nancy Coco in exchange for an honest review. Allie McMurphy runs the McMurphy Hotel on Mackinac Island. It is a beautiful old hotel, with a fudge shop in it, that she is keeping open year round. Allie is the maid of honor in Jenn's, her partner, wedding. In looking for Jenn's fiance, Shane, Jenn and Allie find him with a knife in his hand, standing over a bleeding man.
This was a fantastic book. I really look forward to getting new books from Nancy Coco.

This series just keeps getting better. Allie's best friend is getting married - assuming the groom is not in jail. Once again, Allie must step in to help solve the crime. As always, she is assisted by all her friends. Beware, this series will inspire you to visit Mackinac Island as well as to eat fudge. Enjoy!

A fun whodunit with delicious recipes! Yummy goodness times two! Wedding bells may not ring for Shane said Jenn when Shane is found standing over a dead body with a bloody knife. Great characters. Strong plot with lots of twists and turns. Can be read as a standalone. Love this series! Got a sweet tooth for a cozy? Here's your book! Thanks #netgalley and #Keningston for the eARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

It’s the beginning of tourist seas and wedding bells are ready to ring for Jenn and Shane. Allie is excited for her friend’s wedding as well as the return of tourists to Mackinac Island. Jenn is concerned when Shane doesn’t show up for dinner so she and her BFF Allie go looking for him. Only they find Shane standing over a body holding a bloody knife. The only things he tells them is to all 911.

As a crime scene investigator himself, Shane is taken away by his peers and the wedding is now in jeopardy. Allie is going to do her best to figure out what happened or Jenn and Shane will be singing the jailhouse blues instead of exchanging vows.

I love the Mackinac Island setting and can always visualize the scenery as I read, making it feel like a true get away for a little while. During the pandemic these little getaways have been sanity savers and this is one of my favorite to read. A holiday mystery with a great setting that always leaves me satisfied and yet waiting for the next book to come out. A great series!

This was a fun installment to this series. I have read a couple books in this series, but this book can be read as a standalone. It was fun to revisit the characters and solve the whodunit.

A sweet sweet story that will have the reader hankering for fudge - recipes included. Everyone's nerves are fraught, with a groom in jail suspected of murder, and the real murderer on the loose. Coco does for Mackinaw what Thayer does for Nantucket - best chamber of commerce ads ever and they're free. - lilke dangling a carrot in front of a horse..I ove there books. I feel like I h ave been there.
