This is a good book. The two main characters are Savannah and Noah. They have known each other all their lives, but fuss slot. Savannah is a preschool teacher and Noah is an EMT. Savannah’s brother is getting married and would like Savannah and Noah to help with the wedding. Savannah and Noah and an attraction. They have some issues of their own but together work them out and fall in love.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series and was happy to revisit the characters with this story. Savannah Lowe is 29, has four older brothers and helps run a pre-school with her best friend. Recently single, Noah Adams has a four year old in Savannah's class. Noah is stressed about his job, finances and being the main caretaker for his daughter Rosie. Savannah's oldest brother announces his engagement and asks that his best man Noah and bridesmaid Savannah do all the legwork for planning the Christmas wedding in their hometown. Neither has the time but can't say no. Noah always has seen Savannah as flighty and spoiled. Savannah always felt tormented and teased by her overprotective brothers and Noah who was constantly at her house growing up. Working together is a challenge until the sparks fly.

I enjoy the writing style of the author. She's able to give a troupe of childhood enemies to lovers story some extra depth. She writes contemporary romances with some heat before it moves behind closed doors. I liked the friend group and getting to continue with the characters from the first story. There is a little too much focus on kids for my general liking because of the pre-school work setting but it fits for the single father storyline. Also there was one mention that Noah should take alimony. That didn't fit for me. It should be changed to child-support which he most definitely should be getting to care for Rosie. Overall a very enjoyable contemporary romance. I did think after the build up the ending felt rushed. I will eagerly look forward to the next in the series. Thank you NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Phoebe Mills have done it again with a Wedding on Sunshine Corner. She has written a beautiful story with believable, realistic characters. It is truly a must read and a great part of the Sunshine series.

Savannah is the youngest of 4 children and the only girl. She has taken more than a few years to figure out her career path, trying a few things along the way. However, recently she has been a pre-school and daycare teacher and has become the Director of the pre-school program at the Sunshine Preschool. She is in charge of hiring teachers, creating the curriculum, planning outings and so on. Many people also assume she is incapable of doing much.

However, Caleb, Savannahs brother and his new fiance have decided to have Savannah and his BFF, Noah (Savannah's nemesis) plan their wedding since they are living away from the town where they want to get married.

Noah is recently divorced with a little girl. He is also working as a firefighter and is struggling to find balance in his life. The last thing he wants or needs is to plan his best friends wedding with Caleb's spoiled princess of a sister who "can't complete a project to save her life."

Will planning this wedding together change either of their perspectives? Will Savannah show everyone that she is more capable than they think? Will Noah learn to ask for help? Who really ends up falling in love with who?

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the ARC!

3.5 stars.

A Wedding on Sunshine Corner is book 2 in "The Sunshine Corner" series but can be read as a standalone. I haven't read the first book so it was nice to be able to start the series in the second book and still be able to understand/ enjoy the story.

This story follows Savannah who is forced to work together with her brother's best friend (it's safe to say that they do not get along) to plan her brother's wedding.

This book had the single parent, brother's best friend trope, and plenty of banter which made the story quite enjoyable. However, I do think that in that the third act breakup in this book was a little unnecessary.

Savannah and Noah weren't perfect and there were parts of their character that bugged me but overall they were likable. I will definitely be checking out book 1 in the series and I would recommend this book for those looking for a lighthearted, small-town romance with plenty of banter and a happy ending.

I'm so so happy I got this E-arc. It was so nice revisiting characters I loved from the first novel and now focusing on some of the side characters from the first novel we were introduced to.

in this novel we follow Savannah and Noah who have been enemies for as long as they can both remember. Noah is best friends with Savannah's older brother and is close to all of her brothers. Savannah, being the baby of the family, has always been seen as flaky, unstable and immature. One day Carter, Savannah's older brother and Noahs best friend, facetimes their family with some amazing news, he's engaged! however, since him and his fiancé want to hold their wedding in Hearts Hope Bay, they are going to need some help with arrangements since they live out of town. Noah, being the best man and Savannah being the bridesmaid are the ones who are strong-armed into taking on such a big task. How can two people who hate each other and couldn't be more different, get along long enough to plan a wedding together?

These books are definitely a new comfort series for me. the characters are so easy to relate to and to love. Noah struggles with asking for help and support that he needs being a single dad and Savannah feels like she always has something to prove because she feels her family doesn't take her seriously. what started off as a fling between them grew into something more and I was HERE for it. I can't wait for the next book in this series, im sure im going to love it!

thank you Netgalley and Forever for this e-galley

This is the second book in the Sunshine Corner series by Phoebe Mills, and I enjoyed this one even more than the first. I love reading books in a series, since you get to start the book familiar with the characters and their storylines. In the first book in this series we are introduced to Noah and Savannah, and how they can barely stand each other. Savannah is a slightly flighty woman, the baby of the family who has tried many careers, and is trying out being a preschool teacher. Noah is a serious EMT, a single father, struggling to raise his daughter after his ex-wife takes off. Savannah has always thought Noah to be too critical and overbearing, and Noah thinks Savannah is lazy and lets her family pamper her too much because she is the baby of the family. Then Caleb, Savannah’s brother and Noah’s best friend, asks them to work together to plan his wedding since he lives out of town and needs help. They reluctantly agree, and as they spend time together, they realize they had a lot wrong about the other person. This was a really enjoyable read, and I look forward to the third book in the series! I received an ARC from netgalley, and this is my honest review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely LOVED the first book in this series, so when the second book popped up in my inbox with an auto download link I was thrilled!! As usual, Phoebe Mills exceeded all my expectations, which were even higher this time. I found myself sneaking moments to read this story, and see where things were going with Savannah and Noah and the rest of the crew. I really enjoy when series “spin off” towards other characters and their development and this one was incredibly well done. I will most definitely be eagerly anticipating the third installment in the Sunshine Corner series!

The Wedding on Sunshine Corner is the second book in Phoebe Mills’s Sunshine Corner series. I really enjoyed the first book in the series and was very excited for this one from how it was set up in the previous book. This book follows Savannah and Noah, her brothers’ best friend and longtime enemy. The pair must come together to plan Savannah’s brother’s wedding because the bride and groom live out of town. Over the course of the wedding preparation the pair realize they are attracted to each other and start a casual relationship that doesn’t remain casual.

Overall I liked the book. I do wish that there had been more “run-ins” between Savannah and Noah on page to establish their animosity toward each other and I do struggle with books where children are heavily featured characters (Savannah teaches Noah’s daughter’s preschool class). That being said, this book was a sweet small town romance. I enjoyed seeing the characters from the previous book and am glad that I read them somewhat close together. I do really like Savannah and Noah together and I enjoyed their banter.

I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Thank you to Forever and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I started this book intending to only read the first chapter and then before I knew it i was 40% in! I finished the next day and am so pleased with the follow up to Phoebe Mills', A House on Sunshine Corner!

This book brought back lots of familiar faces from all over Heart's Hope Bay and featured Savannah and Noah who had a very antagonistic relationship in the first book. These lifelong enemies to lovers were suddenly forced into wedding planning for Savannah's brother / Noah's best friend Carter and his bride to be. The forced proximity working relationship gave them plenty of time to let their constantly bubbling animosity boil over until they could really identify the attraction underneath! Before they got together though, the banter and bickering was next level entertaining. These two have know each other almost their entire lives so there were years of animosity between them. This, was beautifully unpacked during their romance. As a single father, Noah brought a complex backstory to the table and together with Savannah's flighty personality these two opposites somehow found common ground! I enjoyed seeing how the author created some preconceived notions and then helped the reader deconstruct them and find out the truth to those thoughts from different perspectives. She also did a wonderful job of incorporating single parenthood and vulnerability into Noah's life.

This story was truly uplifting, had some closed door steam, and gave the reader a look at some very solid friendships as well as the awesome romance. I am very excited for book three!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this ARC!

A Wedding on Sunshine Corner By Phoebe Mills

I read and loved The House on Sunshine Corner which is book one.
When I got this widget to read book two in The Sunshine Corner Series I had to jump on it.

I was really late finishing this amazing story, that completely won my heart over.
It's really that good.

As with most contemporary romance series each book in the series will feature a new main couple so each could be read as a standalone if choosing to do so.
I love the small town feel of this series, the sense of community, the lifelong friendships and the quirky characters.
Savannah and Noah's journey is romantic, emotional and tugs at your heartstrings.
I was invested in their story from the first page of the book.
I love and adore small town romances and this story did not disappoint.
The writing was easy to get lost in, even when dealt with some real life topics.
I really enjoyed all the side characters in this one too. They were fun and well developed.
The chemistry between Noah and Savannah was powerful and it made the story that much more realistic.
A Wedding on Sunshine Corner has everything in it I hoped for, small-town charm, an emotive, romantic storyline, and character's that you can’t help but be invested in and root for.
