The parting by David Niall Wilson.
Rebecca and computer expert Wendell “Mack” Macklemore team up with a renegade Vatican monk, a Jersusalem street urchin, and a Mossad agent to oppose Amunet, an Egyptian sorceress, as she comes ever closer to exacting an ancient revenge and unleashing a terrorist attack that could plunge the Middle East into an era of darkness.
I really enjoyed this book. Great short read. I did like Rebecca character. 4*.

This book has a lot of potential and I liked how it started. Unfortunately it became confused and the story didn't keep my attention
Not my cup of tea.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

Another great read from David Niall Wilson. He seems to be able to write in multiple genres exceeding well: horror, fantasy, and science fiction. This book was enjoyable, with great characters and great pacing. Will need to track down the other O.C.L.T. books to read. #TheParting #NetGalley

Truly liked the book. Basic premise, without giving away the book, is a melding of history with the present day. Then you use the ability of the primary character to use the history they've learned to alter the present day situation. The author is not changing history to change the current day, but using the history of what they've learned to change the current day. Sort of like a time travel book.
