Thought provoking and useful book, encouraging increased diversity, and embracing neurodiversity in organisations. Practical advice/ tips to foster an inclusive environment and support everyone in an organisation. Important resource that I recommend. Thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a wide-ranging and thought-provoking book about how to make workplaces neuroinclusive. I found it full of practical advice for the hiring process from creating job adverts to ensuring the interview and onboarding process allows all candidates to perform their best. The section on meetings and conferences will help event organisers create events that are inclusive and that serve the needs of their communities. There are also plenty of inspiring stories of workplace success (and challenge) that will help galvanise you into creating employee networks or informal support frameworks to ensure everyone has the chance to do their best work. Recommended reading for hiring managers.

This book is the perfect read for anyone unfamiliar with neurodiversity. If you are a manager of any kind, you need to read and understand this book. I appreciate the attention to detail of this book to go through different diagnoses and what they actually are. As someone who is neurodivergent, this book was enjoyable as an affirmation of my value and worth in the workplace.
